< Psalms 80 >
1 For the end, for alternate [strains], a testimony for Asaph, a Psalm concerning the Assyrian. Attend, O Shepherd of Israel, who guide Joseph like a flock; you who sit upon the cherubs, manifest yourself;
Kuom jatend wer. E dwol mar “Ondanyo mar Singruok.” Mar Asaf. Zaburi. Chiknwa iti, yaye Jakwadh jo-Israel, in mitelo ne Josef ka kweth mar dhok. In mibet e kom loch e kind kerubi, koro rieny ane
2 before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasse, stir up your power, and come to deliver us.
e nyim Efraim, gi Benjamin gi Manase. Nyis tekri, kendo bi mondo ireswa.
3 Turn us, O God, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be delivered.
Dwogwa iri, yaye Nyasaye; mi wangʼi orienynwa, eka mondo wayud warruok.
4 O Lord God of hosts, how long are you angry with the prayer of your servant?
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasaye Maratego, mirimbi biro siko koyienyo, gi lamo mar jogi nyaka karangʼo?
5 You will feed us with bread of tears; and will cause us to drink tears by measure.
Isemiyo gichamo pi wangʼ ka kuon kendo isemiyo gimodho pi wangʼ agwetni modhuro.
6 You has made us a strife to our neighbours; and our enemies have mocked at us.
Isemiyo wadoko rachwany ne jobutwa, kendo wasikwa jarowa.
7 Turn us, O Lord God of hosts, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved. (Pause)
Dwogwa iri, yaye Nyasaye Maratego; mi wangʼi orienynwa, eka mondo wayud warruok.
8 You have transplanted a vine out of Egypt: you have cast out the heathen, and planted it.
Ne igolo mzabibu moro e piny Misri, kendo ne iriembo ogendini mi ipidhe kargi.
9 You made a way before it, and did cause its roots to strike, and the land was filled [with it].
Ne ilosone lowo maber, kendo nochwoyo tiendene piny mi opongʼo piny.
10 Its shadow covered the mountains, and its shoots [equalled] the goodly cedars.
Tipo Nyasaye noimo gode duto, mana ka yiende sida ma odongo ma bedene olak.
11 It sent forth its branches to the sea, and its shoots to the river.
Noyaro bedene madongo nyaka e Nam Mediterania kendo noloth mochweyo nyaka e Aora Yufrate.
12 Therefore have you broken down its hedge, while all that pass by the way pluck it?
Koro angʼo momiyo isemuko ohinga mage, momiyo ji duto makadho pone ka olemo.
13 The boar out of the wood has laid it waste, and the wild beast has devoured it.
Mbithe moa e bungu kethe, kendo le mag bungu chame.
14 O God of hosts, turn, we pray you: look on [us] from heaven, and behold and visit this vine;
Duog irwa, yaye Nyasaye Maratego! Ngʼi piny gie polo mondo ine! Ngʼi mzabibu maber,
15 and restore that which your right hand has planted: and look on the son of man whom you did strengthen for yourself.
yien ma lweti ma korachwich ema nopidho gi tiende, ma en wuodi misepidho in iwuon.
16 [It is] burnt with fire and dug up: they shall perish at the rebuke of your presence.
Mzabibu mari osetongʼ mi owangʼ gi mach, jogi lal nono nikech isekwerogi.
17 Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, and upon the son of man whom you did strengthen for yourself.
Mad lweti bed kuom ngʼat mobet e bathi korachwich, ma en wuod dhano misemiyo teko in iwuon.
18 So will we not depart from you: you shall quicken us, and we will call upon your name.
Eka ok wanachak walokre waweyi; konywa wabed mangima, kendo wabiro pako nyingi.
19 Turn us, O Lord God of hosts, and make your face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Dwogwa iri, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasaye Maratego; mi wangʼi orienynwa, eka mondo wayud warruok.
