Psalms 66
1 For the end, a Song of Psalm of resurrection. Shout to God, all the earth.
Dé alabanza a Dios toda la tierra.
2 O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.
Cantád la gloria de su nombre: ponéd gloria en su alabanza.
3 Say to God, How awful are your works! through the greatness of your power your enemies shall lie to you.
Decíd a Dios: ¡Cuán terrible eres en tus obras! por la multitud de tu fortaleza se te sujetarán fingidamente todos tus enemigos.
4 Let all the earth worship you, and sing to you; let them sing to your name. (Pause)
Toda la tierra te adorará, y cantarán a ti: cantarán a tu nombre. (Selah)
5 Come and behold the works of God; [he is] terrible in [his] counsels beyond the children of men.
Veníd, y ved las obras de Dios: terrible en hechos sobre los hijos de los hombres.
6 Who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in him,
Volvió la mar en seco: por el río pasaron a pie; allí nos alegramos en él.
7 who by his power is Lord over the age, his eyes look upon the nations; let not them that provoke [him] be exalted in themselves. (Pause)
El se enseñorea con su fortaleza para siempre: sus ojos atalayan sobre las naciones: los rebeldes no serán ellos ensalzados. (Selah)
8 Bless our God, you Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
Bendecíd pueblos a nuestro Dios: y hacéd oír la voz de su loor.
9 who quickens my soul in life, and does not suffer my feet to be moved.
El que puso nuestra alma en vida: y no permitió que resbalasen nuestros pies.
10 For you, O God, has proved us; you have tried us with fire as silver is tried.
Porque tú nos probaste, o! Dios: afinástenos, como se afina la plata.
11 You brought us into the snare; you laid afflictions on our back.
Metístenos en la red: pusiste apretura en nuestros lomos.
12 You did mount men upon our heads; we went through the fire and water; but you brought us out into [a place of] refreshment.
Hiciste subir varón sobre nuestra cabeza: entrámos en fuego y en aguas; y sacástenos a hartura.
13 I will go into your house with whole burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows,
Entraré pues en tu casa con holocaustos: y pagarte he mis votos,
14 which my lips framed, and my mouth uttered in my affliction.
Que pronunciaron mis labios, y habló mi boca, cuando estaba angustiado.
15 I will offer to you whole burnt sacrifices full of marrow, with incense and rams; I will sacrifice to you oxen with goats. (Pause)
Holocaustos de engordados te ofreceré, con perfume de carneros: sacrificaré bueyes y machos de cabrío. (Selah)
16 Come, hear, and I will tell, all you that fear God, how great things he has done for my soul.
Veníd, oíd todos los que teméis a Dios: y contaré lo que ha hecho a mi alma.
17 I cried to him with my mouth, and exalted him with my tongue.
A él hablé en alta voz: y fue ensalzado con mi lengua.
18 If I have regarded iniquity in my heart, let not the Lord listen [to me].
Si yo viera iniquidad en mi corazón, no oyera el Señor.
19 Therefore God has listened to me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Ciertamente oyó Dios: escuchó a la voz de mi oración.
20 Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
Bendito Dios, que no apartó mi oración, y su misericordia de mí.
