< Psalms 60 >
1 For the end, for them that shall yet be changed; for an inscription by David for instruction, when he [had] burnt Mesopotamia of Syria, and Syria Sobal, and Joab [had] returned and struck [in] the valley of salt twelve thousand. O God, you have rejected and destroyed us; you have been angry, yet have pitied us.
Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi, kayimbidila mu “Lisi” mu diambu di longisa mu thangu kanuana mvita ayi basi Sili ba Mesopotami ayi basi Sili ba Tsoba, ayi mu thangu Yowabi kavutuka ayi kabedisa kumi mafunda muadi ma basi Edomi mu ndimba Mungu. Ngeyo wutulozidi, a Nzambi ayi wutusasikisidi; wufuema vayi bika buabu wutufuanisa!
2 You have shaken the earth, and troubled it; heal its breaches, for it has been shaken.
Ngeyo wunikuni ntoto ayi ngeyo wuvasudi wawu; londa miamvu miandi bila wulembo nikuka.
3 You have shown your people hard things: you has made us drink the wine of astonishment.
Ngeyo wumonisini batu baku zithangu ziozi zikambulu diana wutuvana vinu kindiengisanga ntu.
4 You have given a token to them that fear you, that they might flee from the bow. (Pause)
Vayi kuidi bobo beti kukinzika ngeyo wutelimisi dalapo mu diambu di batina va ntuala mimbasa.
5 That your beloved ones may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me.
Wutuvukisa ayi wutusadisa mu koko kuaku ku lubakala muingi bobo weti zola bakulu.
6 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, and divide Sicima, and measure out the valley of tents.
Nzambi wuyoluka tona ku buangu kiandi kinlongo: “mu ndungunu, ndiela vasa Sikemi, ndiela teza ndimba wu Sikoti;
7 Galaad is mine, and Manasse is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head;

8 Judas is my king; Moab is the cauldron of my hope; over Idumea will I stretch out my shoe; the Philistines have been subjected to me.
Mowabi diawu dibola diodi ndieti yobidila; va yilu Edoni ndiloza zisandales ziama ndiela yamikina mu diambu di ndungunu ama mu basi Filisti!”
9 Who will lead me into the fortified city? who will guide me as far a Idumea?
Nani wela kundata ku divula di ngolo e? Nani wela kuthuadisa ku Edoni e?
10 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our forces?
Keti ngeyo, e Nzambi, ngeyo wutuloza e? Ngeyo wutuloza ayi wunkambu buela totukanga ayi minkangu mi masodi meto.
11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the deliverance of man.
Wutuvana lusadusu va ntuala mbeni bila lusadusu lu mutu luidi luphamba.
12 In God will we do valiantly; and he shall bring to nothing them that harass us.
A Nzambi, tuela nunga ayi wela kosikisa bambeni zieto.
