< Psalms 60 >

1 For the end, for them that shall yet be changed; for an inscription by David for instruction, when he [had] burnt Mesopotamia of Syria, and Syria Sobal, and Joab [had] returned and struck [in] the valley of salt twelve thousand. O God, you have rejected and destroyed us; you have been angry, yet have pitied us.
Dawid “Miktam” dwom. Wɔde yɛ nkyerɛkyerɛ. Ɔtoo no ɛberɛ a ɔne Aram Naharanfoɔ ne Aram Sabafoɔ koeɛ na Yoab sane kɔkumm Edomfoɔ mpem dumienu wɔ Nkyene Bɔnhwa mu no. Ao Onyankopɔn, woapo yɛn, woabɔ yɛagu; wo bo afu yɛn, nanso gye yɛn bio!
2 You have shaken the earth, and troubled it; heal its breaches, for it has been shaken.
Woawoso asase no na woapae mu; toatoa deɛ abubuo no, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛrehinhim.
3 You have shown your people hard things: you has made us drink the wine of astonishment.
Woama wo nkurɔfoɔ ahunu mmerɛ bɔne; woama yɛn nsã a ɛma yɛtɔ ntentan.
4 You have given a token to them that fear you, that they might flee from the bow. (Pause)
Nanso wɔn a wɔsuro wo deɛ, woama wɔn frankaa so sɛ wɔntu ntia kuntun no.
5 That your beloved ones may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me.
Gye yɛn nkwa na fa wo nsa nifa boa yɛn, na ama wɔn a wodɔ wɔn no anya nkwa.
6 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, and divide Sicima, and measure out the valley of tents.
Onyankopɔn akasa firi kronkronbea sɛ, “Nkonim mu, mɛkyɛ Sekem mu, na masusu Sukot bɔnhwa no.
7 Galaad is mine, and Manasse is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head;
Gilead wɔ me, Manase wɔ me; Efraim yɛ me dadeɛ kyɛ, ɛna Yuda yɛ mʼahempoma.
8 Judas is my king; Moab is the cauldron of my hope; over Idumea will I stretch out my shoe; the Philistines have been subjected to me.
Moab yɛ me dwaresɛn, Edom so na meto me mpaboa guo; na meteam nkonimdie so gu Filistifoɔ so.”
9 Who will lead me into the fortified city? who will guide me as far a Idumea?
Hwan na ɔde me bɛkɔ kuropɔn a wɔabɔ ho ban no mu? Hwan na ɔbɛdi mʼanim akɔ Edom?
10 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our forces?
Ɛnyɛ wo, Ao Onyankopɔn, wo a woapo yɛn na wone yɛn akodɔm ankɔ sa bio no?
11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the deliverance of man.
Boa yɛn tia ɔtamfoɔ no, na ɔdasani mmoa nka hwee.
12 In God will we do valiantly; and he shall bring to nothing them that harass us.
Onyankopɔn wɔ yɛn afa yi, yɛbɛdi nkonim, na ɔbɛtiatia yɛn atamfoɔ so. Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ. Wɔde sankuo na ɛtoɔ.
