1 For the End, a Psalm of David amongst the Hymns for the eighth. O Lord, rebuke me not in your wrath, neither chasten me in your anger.

2 Pity me, O Lord; for I am weak: heal me, O Lord; for my bones are vexed.
Zmiłuj się nademną, Panie! bomci mdły; uzdrów mię, Panie! boć się strwożyły kości moje,
3 My soul also is grievously vexed: but you, O Lord, how long?
I dusza moja bardzo jest zatrwożona; ale ty, Panie! pokądże?
4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: save me for your mercy's sake.
Nawróć się, Panie! wyrwij duszę moję; wybaw mię dla miłosierdzia twego;
Albowiem w śmierci niemasz pamiątki o tobie, a w grobie któż cie wyznawać będzie? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am wearied with my groaning; I shall wash my bed every night; I shall water my couch with tears.
Spracowałem się od wzdychania mego; opływa na każdą noc pościel moja, a łoże moje mokre jest od łez.
7 Mine eye is troubled because of my wrath; I am worn out because of all my enemies.
Zaćmiło się dla gniewu oko moje, a zstarzała się twarz moja dla wszystkich nieprzyjaciół moich.
8 Depart from me, all you that work iniquity; for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
Odstąpcie odemnie wszyscy, krórzy czynicie nieprawość; albowiem Pan usłyszał głos płaczu mojego.
9 The Lord has listened to my petition; the Lord has accepted my prayer.
Usłyszał Pan prośbę moję; Pan modlitwę moję przyjął.
10 Let all mine enemies be put to shame and sore troubled: let them be turned back and grievously put to shame speedily.
Niech się zawstydzą i bardzo zatrwożą wszyscy nieprzyjaciele moi; niech tył podadzą, a niech prędko pohańbieni będą.
