< Psalms 43 >

1 A Psalm of David. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause, against an ungodly nation: deliver me from the unjust and crafty man.
Ayi Katonda, onnejjeereze omponye eggwanga eritatya Katonda ondokole mu mikono gy’abantu abalimba, abakola ebibi.
2 For you, O God, are my strength: therefore have you cast me off? and why do I go sad of countenance, while the enemy oppresses [me]?
Ddala ddala ggwe Katonda, ekigo kyange eky’amaanyi. Lwaki ondese? Lwaki ŋŋenda nkaaba nga nnyigirizibwa omulabe?
3 Send forth your light and your truth: they have led me, and brought me to your holy mountain, and to your tabernacles.
Kale tuma omusana gwo n’amazima binnuŋŋamye; bindeete ku lusozi lwo olutukuvu, mu kifo mw’obeera.
4 And I will go in to the altar of God, to God who gladdens my youth: I will give thanks to you on the harp, O God, my God.
Ne ndyoka ndaga ku kyoto kya Katonda, eri Katonda wange era essanyu lyange eritasingika. Weewaawo nnaakutenderezanga n’ennanga, Ayi Katonda, Katonda wange.
5 Therefore are you very sad, O my soul? and therefore do you trouble me? Hope in God; for I will give thanks to him, [who is] the health of my countenance, [and] my God.
Lwaki wennyise ggwe emmeeme yange? Lwaki otabusetabuse munda yange? Weesige Katonda; kubanga nnaamutenderezanga, Omulokozi wange era Katonda wange.
