Psalms 41
1 For the end, a Psalm of David. Blessed [is the man] who thinks, on the poor and needy: the Lord shall deliver him in an evil day.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਦੀ ਸੁੱਧ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਛੁਡਾਵੇਗਾ।
2 May the Lord preserve him and keep him alive, and bless him on the earth, and not deliver him into the hands of his enemy.
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਿਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੇਂਗਾ।
3 May the Lord help him upon the bed of his pain; you have made all his bed in his sickness.
੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਸਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲੇਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਬਿਸਤਰਾ ਉਲਟਾ ਕੇ ਵਿਛਾਵੇਂਗਾ।
4 I said, O Lord, have mercy upon me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against you.
੪ਮੈ ਆਖਿਆ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਿਆਂ ਕਰ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਾਪ ਜੋ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
5 Mine enemies have spoken evil against me, [saying], When shall he die, and his name perish?
੫ਮੇਰੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੁਰਾ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਦੋਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕਦੋਂ ਮਿਟੇਗਾ?
6 And if he came to see [me], his heart spoke vainly; he gathered iniquity to himself; he went forth and spoke in like manner.
੬ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਕਦੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਐਂਵੇਂ ਗੱਪਾਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਮਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਦੀ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 All my enemies whispered against me; against me they devised my hurt.
੭ਮੇਰੇ ਸਭ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚੁਗਲੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਹ ਉਪਾਓ ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ।
8 They denounced a wicked word against me, [saying], Now that he lies, shall he not rise up again?
੮ਉਹ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਰੋਗ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਮੁੜ ਉੱਠੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
9 For even the man of my peace, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, lifted up [his] heel against me.
੯ਸਗੋਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੱਤ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।
10 But you, O Lord, have compassion upon me, and raise me up, and I shall requite them.
੧੦ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਬਦਲਾ ਲਵਾਂ।
11 By this I know that you have delighted in me, because mine enemy shall not rejoice over me.
੧੧ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਪਰਸੰਨ ਹੈਂ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੈ ਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਜਾਉਂਦਾ।
12 But you did help me because of [mine] innocence, and have established me before you for ever.
੧੨ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸਿਧਿਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
13 Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. So be it, so be it.
੧੩ਆਦ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਤੱਕ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਆਮੀਨ, ਫਿਰ ਆਮੀਨ।
