< Psalms 30 >
1 For the end, a Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will exalt you, O Lord; for you have lifted me up, and not caused mine enemies to rejoice over me.
Dziesma pie Dāvida nama iesvētīšanas. Es Tevi augsti teikšu, Kungs, jo Tu mani augsti esi cēlis, un maniem ienaidniekiem neesi ļāvis priecāties par mani.
2 O Lord my God, I cried to you, and you did heal me.
Kungs, mans Dievs, kad es Tevi piesaucu, tad Tu mani dziedināji.
3 O Lord, you have brought up my soul from Hades, you have delivered me from [amongst] them that go down to the pit. (Sheol )
Kungs, Tu manu dvēseli esi izvedis no elles, Tu mani dzīvu esi uzturējis, ka neesmu nogrimis kapā. (Sheol )
4 Sing to the Lord, you his saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.
Dziedājiet Tam Kungam, jūs Viņa svētie, un teiciet Viņa svēto piemiņu.
5 For anger is in his wrath, but life in his favour: weeping shall wait for the evening, but joy shall be in the morning.
Jo Viņa dusmība pastāv acumirkli, Viņa žēlastība cauru mūžu: vakarā nāk raudāšana, bet rītā prieks.
6 And I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.
Es gan sacīju, kad man labi klājās: es nešaubīšos ne mūžam,
7 O Lord, in your good pleasure you did add strength to my beauty: but you did turn away your face, and I was troubled.
Jo, Kungs, caur Tavu labprātību Tu manu kalnu esi darījis pastāvīgu; bet kad Tu Savu vaigu paslēpi, tad es iztrūcinājos.
8 To you, O Lord, will I cry; and to my God will I make supplication.
Tevi es piesaucu, Kungs, un pielūdzu Tevi, ak Kungs no sirds.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to destruction? Shall the dust give praise to you? or shall it declare your truth?
Kāds labums atlec no manām asinīm, kad es būšu kapā grimis? Vai pīšļi Tevi slavēs? Vai tie sludinās Tavu patiesību?
10 The Lord heard, and had compassion upon me; the Lord is become my helper.
Klausi, Kungs, un apžēlojies par mani: Kungs, esi man par palīgu!
11 You have turned my mourning into joy for me: you have tore off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Manas žēlabas Tu esi pārvērtis par līksmību, Tu man to maisu esi novilcis un mani apjozis ar prieku.
12 that my glory may sing praise to you, and I may not be pierced [with sorrow]. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you for ever.
Tāpēc Tev dziedās mans gods un nestāvēs klusu; Kungs, mans Dievs, es Tev pateikšos mūžīgi.
