< Psalms 15 >
1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tabernacle? and who shall dwell in your holy mountain?
Signore, chi abiterà nella tua tenda? Chi dimorerà sul tuo santo monte? Salmo. Di Davide.
2 He that walks blameless, and works righteousness, who speaks truth in his heart.
Colui che cammina senza colpa, agisce con giustizia e parla lealmente,
3 Who has not spoken craftily with is tongue, neither has done evil to his neighbour, nor taken up a reproach against them that lived nearest to him.
non dice calunnia con la lingua, non fa danno al suo prossimo e non lancia insulto al suo vicino.
4 In his sight an evil-worker is set at nothing, but he honours them that fear the Lord. He swears to his neighbour, and disappoints [him] not.
Ai suoi occhi è spregevole il malvagio, ma onora chi teme il Signore. Anche se giura a suo danno, non cambia;
5 He has not lent his money on usury, and has not received bribes against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.
presta denaro senza fare usura, e non accetta doni contro l'innocente. Colui che agisce in questo modo resterà saldo per sempre.
