Psalms 148

1 Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise you the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the highest.

౧యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి. పరలోక నివాసులారా, యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి. ఉన్నత స్థలాల్లో నివసించేవాళ్ళంతా ఆయనను స్తుతించండి.

2 Praise you him, all his angels: praise you him, all his hosts.

౨ఆయన దూతలారా, మీరంతా ఆయనను స్తుతించండి. ఆయన సైన్య సమూహమా, మీరంతా ఆయనను స్తుతించండి.

3 Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you stars and light.

౩సూర్యడా, చంద్రుడా, ఆకాశంలో ప్రకాశించే నక్షత్రాల్లారా మీరంతా ఆయనను స్తుతించండి.

4 Praise him, you heavens of heavens, and the water that is above the heavens.

౪అంతరిక్షంలో ఉన్న నగరాల్లారా, ఆయనను స్తుతించండి. ఆకాశంపై ఉన్న జలాశయాల్లారా ఆయనను స్తుతించండి.

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created.

౫అవన్నీ యెహోవా నామాన్ని స్తుతిస్తాయి గాక. ఎందుకంటే యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చినప్పుడు అవన్నీ ఏర్పడ్డాయి.

6 He has established them for ever, even for ever and ever: he has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away.

౬ఆయన వాటికి శాశ్విత నివాస స్థానాలు ఏర్పాటు చేశాడు. ఆయన వాటికి శాసనాలు నియమించాడు. ప్రతిదీ వాటికి లోబడక తప్పదు.

7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you serpents, and all deeps.

౭భూమి మీద సృష్టి అయిన ప్రతి వస్తువూ ఆయనను స్తుతించాలి. సముద్రంలో ఉన్న అగాధజలాల్లారా, యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

8 Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy wind; the things that perform his word.

౮అగ్నిపర్వతాలూ, వడగళ్ళూ, మంచూ, ఆవిరీ, ఆయన ఆజ్ఞను నెరవేర్చే తుఫానూ, యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

౯పర్వతాలూ, ఎన్నెన్నో కొండలూ, ఫలాలిచ్చే చెట్లూ, అన్ని దేవదారు వృక్షాలూ యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

10 wild beasts, and all cattle; reptiles, and winged birds:

౧౦మృగాలూ, పశువులూ, నేల మీద పాకే జీవులూ, రెక్కలతో ఎగిరే పక్షులూ యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

11 kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth:

౧౧భూరాజులూ, సమస్త ప్రజల సమూహాలూ, భూమిపై ఉన్న అధిపతులూ, సమస్త న్యాయాధిపతులూ యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

12 young men and virgins, old men with youths:

౧౨యువకులు, కన్యలు, వృద్ధులు, బాలబాలికలు అందరూ యెహోవా నామాన్ని స్తుతిస్తారు గాక.

13 let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name only is exalted; his praise is above the earth and heaven,

౧౩ఆయన నామం మాత్రమే మహోన్నతమైనది. ఆయన ప్రభావం భూమి కంటే, ఆకాశం కంటే ఉన్నతమైనది.

14 and he shall exalt the horn of his people, [there is] a hymn for all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people who draw near to him.

౧౪ఆయన తన ప్రజలకు రెట్టింపు ఘనత కలిగించాడు. అది ఆయన భక్తులకు, ఆయన శరణు కోరిన ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు గర్వకారణంగా ఉన్నది. యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.
