Psalms 139

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. O Lord, you have proved me, and known me.

Oh Señor, tú me has examinado y me conoces.

2 You know my down-sitting and mine up-rising: you understand my thoughts long before.

Usted tiene conocimiento cuando estoy sentado y cuando me levanto, ve mis pensamientos desde lejos.

3 You have traced my path and my bed, and have foreseen all my ways.

Tú vigilas mis pasos y mi sueño, y conoces todos mis caminos.

4 For there is no unrighteous word in my tongue: behold, O Lord, you have known all things,

Porque no hay palabra en mi lengua aun, y tu, Señor ya la conoces.

5 the last and the first: you have fashioned me, and laid your hand upon me.

Me has rodeado por todos lados. y me has puesto la mano encima.

6 The knowledge of you is too wonderful for me; it is very difficult, I can’t [attain] to it.

Tal conocimiento es una maravilla mayor que mis poderes; es tan alto que no puedo comprenderlo.

7 Whither shall I go from your Spirit? and whither shall I flee from my presence?

¿A dónde puedo iré de tu espíritu? ¿cómo puedo huir en vuelo de tu presencia?

8 If I should go up to heaven, you are there: if I should go down to hell, you are present. (Sheol h7585)

Si voy al cielo, estás allí; o si hago mi cama en el inframundo, estás allí. (Sheol h7585)

9 If I should spread my wings [to fly] straight forward, and sojourn at the extremity of the sea, [it would be vain],

Si tomo las alas de la mañana, y voy a las partes más lejanas del mar;

10 for even there your hand would guide me, and your right hand would hold me.

Aun allí seré guiado por tu mano, y tu diestra me guardará.

11 When I said, Surely the darkness will cover me; even the night [was] light in my luxury.

Si dijera: Solo déjame estar cubierto por la oscuridad, aun la noche resplandecerá alrededor de mí.

12 For darkness will not be darkness with you; but night will be light as day: as its darkness, so shall its light [be to you].

Incluso la oscuridad no es oscura para ti; la noche es tan brillante como el día: porque la oscuridad y la luz son lo mismo para ti.

13 For you, O Lord, have possessed my reins; you have helped me from my mother's womb.

Mi carne fue hecha por ti, y mis partes se unieron en el cuerpo de mi madre.

14 I will give you thanks; for you are fearfully wondrous; wondrous are your works; and my soul knows [it] well.

Te alabaré, porque estoy extraña y delicadamente formado; tus obras son grandes maravillas, y de esto mi alma está completamente consciente.

15 My bones, which you made in secret were not hidden from you, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth.

Mi cuerpo no fue visto por ti cuando fui hecho en secreto, y extrañamente formado en las partes más bajas de la tierra.

16 Your eyes saw my unwrought [substance], and all [men] shall be written in your book; they shall be formed by day, though [there should for a time] be no one amongst them.

Tus ojos vieron mi sustancia sin forma; en tu libro se registraron todos mis días, incluso aquellos que fueron propuestos antes de que hubieran surgido.

17 But your friends, O God, have been greatly honoured by me; their rule has been greatly strengthened.

¡Cuán queridos son tus pensamientos para mí, oh Dios! ¡Cuán grande es el número de ellos!

18 I will number them, and they shall be multiplied beyond the sand; I awake, and am still with you.

Si los número, serían más que granos de arena; cuando estoy despierto, todavía estoy contigo.

19 Oh that you would kill the wicked, O God; depart from me, you men of blood.

Si tan solo pusieras a los pecadores a la muerte, oh Dios; lejos de mí, hombres sanguinarios.

20 For you will say concerning [their] thought, [that] they shall take your cities in vain.

Porque van contra ti con malos designios, y tus enemigos se burlan de tu nombre.

21 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hate you? and wasted away because of your enemies?

¿No aborrezco a tus enemigos, oh Señor? ¿No son los que se levantan contra ti una causa de aflicción para mí?

22 I have hated them with perfect hatred; they were counted my enemies.

Mi odio por ellos está completo; mis pensamientos sobre ellos son como si estuvieran haciendo guerra contra mí.

23 Prove me, O God, and know my heart; examine me, and know my paths;

Oh Dios, que los secretos de mi corazón sean descubiertos, y que mis pensamientos sean puestos a prueba.

24 and see if [there is any] way of iniquity in me, and lead me in an everlasting way.

Mira si hay camino de perversidad en mí, y sé mi guía en el camino eterno.
