Psalms 138

1 A Psalm for David, of Aggaeus and Zacharias. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; and I will sing psalms to you before the angels; for you have heard all the words of my mouth.

2 I will worship towards your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, on account of your mercy and your truth; for you have magnified your holy name above every thing.

Na bawkim cim taengla ka bakop vetih na sitlohnah neh na oltak dongah na ming te ka uem ni. A cungkuem soah na ming neh na olthui ni na pomsang.

3 In whatever day I shall call upon you, hear me speedily; you shall abundantly provide me with your power in my soul.

Kang khue khohnin vaengah khaw kai nan doo tih ka hinglu dongkah sarhi neh kai nan hloep.

4 Let all the kings of the earth, o Lord, give thanks to you; for they have heard all the words of your mouth.

Na ol na ka a yaak uh coeng dongah diklai manghai boeih loh BOEIPA nang te n'uem uh saeh.

5 And let them sing in the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.

BOEIPA kah thangpomnah tah khuet pai tih BOEIPA kah longpuei te khaw hlai uh pai saeh.

6 For the Lord is high, and [yet] regards the lowly; and he knows high things from afar off.

BOEIPA tah sang ngawn cakhaw a tlarhoel te a hmuh dongah kopoek sang te khohla bangsang lamloh a hmat.

7 Though I should walk in the midst of affliction, you will quicken me; you have stretched forth your hands against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand has saved me.

Citcai lakli ah ka pongpa cakhaw ka thunkha rhoek kah thintoek lamloh kai nan hing sak. Na kut na yueng tih na bantang kut neh kai nan khang.

8 O Lord, you shall recompense [them] on my behalf: your mercy, O Lord, [endures] for ever: overlook not the works of your hands.
