5 For I know that the Lord is great, and our Lord is above all gods;

15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.

16 They have a mouth, but they can’t speak; they have eyes, but they can’t see;
Nĩĩrĩ tũnua, no ndĩaragia, nĩĩrĩ maitho, no ndĩonaga;
17 they have ears, but they can’t hear; for there is no breath in their mouth.
nĩĩrĩ matũ, no ndĩiguaga, o na ndĩrĩ mĩhũmũ tũnua-inĩ twayo.
18 Let those who make them be made like to them; and all those who trust in them.
