Psalms 131

1 A Song of Degrees. O Lord, my heart is not exalted, neither have mine eyes been [haughtily] raised: neither have I exercised myself in great [matters], nor in things too wonderful for me.

Nyanyian ziarah Daud. TUHAN, aku tidak angkuh, dan tidak sombong. Aku tidak mengejar hal-hal yang terlalu besar atau yang terlalu sulit bagiku.

2 [I shall have sinned] if I have not been humble, but have exulted my soul: according to [the relation of] a weaned child to his mother, so will you recompense my soul.

Sesungguhnya, hatiku tenang dan tentram; seperti bayi yang habis menyusu, berbaring tenang di pangkuan ibunya, setenang itulah hatiku.

3 Let Israel hope in the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

Berharaplah kepada TUHAN, hai umat-Nya, sekarang dan selama-lamanya.
