Psalms 128

1 A Song of Degrees. Blessed are all they that fear the Lord; who walk in his ways.

Blagoslovljen je vsak, kdor se boji Gospoda, ki hodi po njegovih poteh.

2 You shall eat the labours of your hands: blessed are you, and it shall be well with you.

Kajti jedel boš trud svojih rok, srečen boš in s teboj bo dobro.

3 Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine on the sides of your house: your children as young olive-plants round about your table.

Tvoja žena bo kakor rodovitna trta ob straneh tvoje hiše; tvoji otroci kakor oljčne sadike naokrog tvoje mize.

4 Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that fears the Lord.

Glej, tako bo blagoslovljen mož, ki se boji Gospoda.

5 May the Lord bless you out of Sion; and may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

Gospod naj te blagoslovi iz Siona in gledal boš dobro Jeruzalema vse dni svojega življenja.

6 And may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel.

Da, videl boš svojih otrok otroke in mir nad Izraelom.
