< Psalms 126 >

1 A Song of Degrees. When the Lord turned the captivity of Sion, we became as comforted ones.
Nyimbo yoyimba pokwera ku Yerusalemu. Yehova atabwezera akapolo ku Ziyoni, tinali ngati amene akulota.
2 Then was our mouth filled with joy, and our tongue with exultation: then would they say amongst the Gentiles,
Pakamwa pathu panadzaza ndi kuseka; malilime athu ndi nyimbo zachimwemwe. Pamenepo kunanenedwa pakati pa anthu kuti, “Yehova wawachitira zinthu zazikulu.”
3 The Lord has done great things amongst them. The Lord has done great things for us, we became joyful.
Yehova watichitira zinthu zazikulu, ndipo tadzazidwa ndi chimwemwe.
4 Turn, O Lord, our captivity, as the steams in the south.
Tibwezereni madalitso athu, Inu Yehova, monga mitsinje ya ku Negevi.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Iwo amene amafesa akulira, adzakolola akuyimba nyimbo zachimwemwe.
6 They went on and wept as they cast their seeds; but they shall surely come with exultation, bringing their sheaves [with them].
Iye amene amayendayenda nalira, atanyamula mbewu yokafesa, adzabwerera akuyimba nyimbo zachimwemwe, atanyamula mitolo yake.
