Psalms 125

1 A Song of Degrees. They that trust in the Lord [shall be] as mount Sion: he that dwells in Jerusalem shall never be moved.

૧ચઢવાનું ગીત. જેઓ યહોવાહમાં ભરોસો રાખે છે તેઓ સિયોન પર્વત જેવા અચળ છે, જે કદી ખસનાર નથી, પણ સદાકાળ ટકી રહે છે.

2 The mountains are round about her, and [so] the Lord is round about his people, from henceforth and even for ever.

૨જેમ યરુશાલેમની આસપાસ પર્વતો આવેલા છે, તેમ આ સમયથી તે સર્વકાળ માટે યહોવાહ પોતાના લોકોની આસપાસ છે.

3 For the Lord will not allow the rod of sinners to be upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous should stretch forth their hands to iniquity.

૩દુષ્ટતાનો રાજદંડ ન્યાયીઓના હિસ્સા પર ટકશે નહિ. નહિ તો, ન્યાયીઓ અન્યાય કરવા લલચાય.

4 Do good, O Lord, to them [that are] good, and to them [that are] upright in heart.

૪હે યહોવાહ, જેઓ સારા છે અને જેઓનાં હૃદય યથાર્થ છે, તેમનું ભલું કરો.

5 But them that turn aside to crooked ways the Lord will lead away with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.

૫પણ જેઓ પોતે આડેઅવળે માર્ગે વળે છે, તેઓને યહોવાહ દુષ્ટોની સાથે લઈ જશે. ઇઝરાયલ પર શાંતિ થાઓ.
