Psalms 121

1 A Song of Degrees. I lifted up mine eyes to the mountains, whence my help shall come.

Ingoma yemiqanso. Ngiphakamisela amehlo ami ezintabeni usizo lwami luvela ngaphi na?

2 My help [shall come] from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.

Usizo lwami luvela kuThixo, uMenzi wezulu lomhlaba.

3 Let not your foot be moved; and let not your keeper slumber.

Kayikuyekela unyawo lwakho lutshelela yena okulindayo kayikuwozela;

4 Behold, he that keeps Israel shall not slumber nor sleep.

ngempela yena olinda u-Israyeli akayikuwozela, akayikulala.

5 The Lord shall keep you: the Lord is your shelter upon your right hand.

UThixo uyakulinda uThixo ungumthunzi wakho esandleni sakho sokunene;

6 The sun shall not burn you by day, neither the moon by night.

ilanga kaliyikukutshisa emini noma loba inyanga ebusuku.

7 May the Lord preserve you from all evil: the Lord shall keep your soul.

UThixo uzakuvikela kuzozonke izingozi uzalinda impilo yakho;

8 The Lord shall keep your coming in, and your going out, from henceforth and even for ever.

uThixo uzalondoloza ukufika kwakho lokusuka kwakho manje kuze kube phakade.
