158 I saw men acting foolishly, and I pined away; for they kept not your oracles.
Mehwɛ wɔn a wonni gyidi no a wɔn ho yɛ me nwini, efisɛ wonni wʼasɛm so.
159 Behold, I have loved your commandments, O Lord: quicken me in your mercy.
Hwɛ sɛnea mʼani gye wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ho; Awurade, kyɛe me nkwa so sɛnea wʼadɔe te.
160 The beginning of your words is truth; and all the judgements of your righteousness [endure] for ever.
Wo nsɛm nyinaa yɛ nokware; na wo mmara a ɛteɛ no to rentwa da.
161 Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of your words.
Sodifo taataa me kwa, nanso ɛyɛ wʼasɛm nko ara na misuro.
162 I will exult because of your oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
Mʼani gye wo bɔhyɛ ho te sɛ obi a wanya asade kɛse.
163 I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love your law.
Mikyi nkontompo na medɔ wo mmara.
164 Seven times in a day have I praised you because of the judgements of your righteousness.
Mekamfo wo mpɛn ason da biara, wo mmara a ɛteɛ no nti.
165 Great peace have they that love your law: and there is no stumbling block to them.
Wɔn a wɔdɔ wo mmara no wɔ asomdwoe mmoroso, na biribiara rentumi mma wonhintiw.
166 I waited for your salvation, O Lord, and have loved your commandments.
Awurade, metwɛn wo nkwagye, na midi wo mmara nsɛm so.
167 My soul has kept your testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
Midi wʼahyɛde so na medɔ no yiye.
168 I have kept your commandments and your testimonies; for all my ways are before you, O Lord.
Midi wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ne wʼahyɛde so, na wunim mʼakwan nyinaa.
169 Let my supplication come near before you, o Lord; instruct me according to your oracle.
Awurade, ma me sufrɛ nnu wʼanim; ma me ntease sɛnea wʼasɛm no te.
170 Let my petition come in before you, O Lord; deliver me according to your oracle.
Ma me nkotosrɛ nnu wʼanim; na gye me sɛnea wo bɔhyɛ no te.
171 Let my lips utter a hymn, when you shall have taught me your ordinances.
Ma nkamfo nhyɛ mʼanom ma; efisɛ wokyerɛkyerɛ me wo hyɛ nsɛm.
172 Let my tongue utter your oracles; for all your commandments are righteous.
Ma me tɛkrɛma nto wʼasɛm ho dwom, efisɛ wo mmara nsɛm nyinaa yɛ trenee.
173 Let your hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen your commandments.
Ma wo nsa nyɛ krado mmɛboa me, efisɛ maso wo nkyerɛkyerɛ no mu.
174 I have longed after your salvation, O Lord; and your law is my (meditation)
Awurade, mʼani agyina wo nkwagye, na wo mmara yɛ mʼanigyede.
175 My soul shall live, and shall praise you; and your judgements shall help me.
Ma mentena nkwa mu na matumi akamfo wo, na wo mmara nso awowaw me.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I have not forgotten your commandments.
Mafom kwan sɛ oguan a wayera. Hwehwɛ wo somfo, efisɛ me werɛ mfii wo mmara nsɛm no ɛ.
