< Psalms 119 >

1 Alleluia. Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Vakaropafadzwa avo vane nzira isina chaingapomerwa, vanofamba mumurayiro waJehovha.
2 Blessed are they that search out his testimonies: they will diligently seek him with the whole heart.
Vakaropafadzwa avo vanochengeta zvaakatema, vanomutsvaka nomwoyo wavo wose.
3 For they that work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
Havaiti chinhu chakaipa; vanofamba munzira yake.
4 You have commanded [us] diligently to keep your precepts.
Imi makaisa zvirevo zvinofanira kuteererwa.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep your ordinances.
Haiwa, dai nzira dzangu dzakasimba pakuteerera zvirevo zvenyu!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all your commandments.
Ipapo handaizonyadziswa pandinorangarira mirayiro yenyu.
7 I will give you thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learnt the judgements of your righteousness.
Ndichakurumbidzai nomwoyo wakarurama, sezvo ndichidzidza mirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
8 I will keep your ordinances: O forsake me not greatly.
Ndichateerera mitemo yenyu; regai kundirasa zvachose.
9 Wherewith shall a young man direct his way? by keeping your words.
Ko, jaya ringanatsa nzira yaro nei? Nokurarama sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
10 With my whole heart have I diligently sought you: cast me not away from your commandments.
Ndinokutsvakai nomwoyo wangu wose; musandirega ndichitsauka pamirayiro yenyu.
11 I have hidden your oracles in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
Shoko renyu ndakariviga mumwoyo mangu, kuti ndirege kukutadzirai.
12 Blessed are you, O Lord: teach me your ordinances.
Imi munofanira kukudzwa, Jehovha; ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgements of your mouth.
Nemiromo yangu ndichataurazve mirayiro yose inobva pamuromo wenyu.
14 I have delighted in the way of your testimonies, [as much] as in all riches.
Ndinofarira kutevera zvirevo zvenyu, somunhu anofarira pfuma huru.
15 I will meditate on your commandments, and consider your ways.
Ndinofungisisa zvirevo zvenyu, uye ndinorangarira nzira dzenyu.
16 I will meditate on your ordinances: I will not forget your words.
Ndinofarira mitemo yenyu; handingakanganwi shoko renyu.
17 Render a recompense to your servant: [so] shall I live, and keep your words.
Itirai muranda wenyu zvakanaka, ndigorarama; ndichateerera shoko renyu.
18 Unveil you mine eyes, and I shall perceive wondrous things of your law.
Ndisvinudzei meso angu kuti ndione. Zvinhu zvinoshamisa zviri pamurayiro wenyu.
19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not your commandments from me.
Ndiri mutorwa panyika; regai kundivanzira mirayiro yenyu.
20 My soul has longed exceedingly for your judgements at all times.
Mweya wangu wapedzwa nokushuva mitemo yenyu nguva dzose.
21 You have rebuked the proud: cursed are they that turn aside from your commandments.
Munotsiura vanozvikudza, avo vakatukwa, uye vanotsauka kubva pamirayiro yenyu.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have sought out your testimonies.
Bvisai kwandiri kushorwa nokuzvidzwa, nokuti ndinochengeta zvirevo zvenyu.
23 For princes sat and spoke against me: but your servant was meditating on your ordinances.
Kunyange vatongi vachigara pamwe chete vachindireva, muranda wenyu achafungisisa mitemo yenyu.
24 For your testimonies are my (meditation) and your ordinances are my counsellors.
Ndinofadzwa nezvirevo zvenyu; ndizvo zvinondipanga mazano.
25 My soul has cleaved to the ground; quicken you me according to your word.
Ndakaradzikwa pasi muguruva; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
26 I declared my ways, and you did hear me: teach me your ordinances.
Ndakarevazve nzira dzangu imi mukandipindura; ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
27 Instruct me in the way of your ordinances; and I will meditate on your wondrous works.
Itai kuti ndinzwisise zvirevo zvenyu; ipapo ndichafungisisa pamusoro pezvishamiso zvenyu.
28 My soul has slumbered for sorrow; strengthen you me with your words.
Mweya wangu waziya nokusuwa; ndisimbisei sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
29 Remove from me the way of iniquity; and be merciful to me by your law.
Ndibvisei panzira dzokunyengera; ndinzwirei nyasha kubudikidza nomurayiro wenyu.
30 I have chosen the way of truth; and have not forgotten your judgements.
Ndakasarudza nzira yechokwadi; ndakaisa mwoyo wangu pamurayiro wenyu.
31 I have cleaved to your testimonies, O Lord; put me not to shame.
Haiwa Jehovha, ini ndichabatirira pazvirevo zvenyu; musandirega ndichinyadziswa.
32 I ran the way of your commandments, when you did enlarge my heart.
Ndinomhanya munzira yomurayiro wenyu, nokuti makasunungura mwoyo wangu.
33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of your ordinances, and I will seek it out continually.
Ndidzidzisei, imi Jehovha, kutevera mitemo yenyu; ipapo ndichaichengeta kusvikira kumagumo.
34 Instruct me, and I will search out your law, and will keep it with my whole heart.
Ndipei kunzwisisa, ndigochengeta murayiro wenyu uye ndigouteerera nomwoyo wangu wose.
35 Guide me in the path of your commandments; for I have delighted in it.
Nditungamirirei munzira yemirayiro yenyu, nokuti imomo ndinowana mufaro.
36 Incline mine heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness.
Dzorerai mwoyo wangu pane zvamakatema kwete pakuchiva kwenyama.
37 Turn away mine eyes that I may not behold vanity: quicken you me in your way.
Dzorai meso angu pazvinhu zvisina maturo; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu sezvinoreva shoko renyu.
38 Confirm your oracle to your servant, that he may fear you.
Zadzisai zvamakapikira muranda wenyu, kuti mugotyiwa.
39 Take away my reproach which I have feared: for your judgements are good.
Bvisai kunyadziswa kwandaitya, nokuti mitemo yenyu yakanaka.
40 Behold, I have desired your commandments: quicken me in your righteousness.
Ndinoshuva zvirevo zvenyu sei! Chengetedzai upenyu hwangu mukururama kwenyu.
41 And let your mercy come upon me, O Lord; [even] your salvation, according to your word.
Rudo rwenyu rusingaperi ngaruuye kwandiri, Jehovha, noruponeso rwenyu sezvamakavimbisa;
42 And [so] I shall render an answer to them that reproach me: for I have trusted in your words.
ipapo ndichapindura vanondishora, nokuti ndinovimba neshoko renyu.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgements. So shall I keep your law continually, for ever and ever.
Regai kubvisa shoko rechokwadi pamuromo pangu, nokuti ndakaisa tariro yangu mumurayiro wenyu.
Ndichagara ndichiteerera murayiro wenyu, nokusingaperi-peri.
45 I walked also at large: for I sought out your commandments.
Ndichafamba-famba ndakasununguka, nokuti ndakatsvaka zvirevo zvenyu.
46 And I spoke of your testimonies before kings, and was not ashamed.
Ndichataura zvamakatema pamberi pamadzimambo, uye handinganyadziswi,
47 And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved exceedingly.
nokuti ndinofarira mirayiro yenyu nokuti ndinoida.
48 And I lifted up my hands to your commandments which I loved; and I meditated in your ordinances.
Ndinosimudzira maoko angu kumirayiro yenyu yandinoda, uye ndinofungisisa zvirevo zvenyu.
49 Remember your words to your servant, wherein you have made me hope.
Rangarirai shoko renyu kumuranda wenyu, nokuti makandipa tariro.
50 This has comforted me in mine affliction: for your oracle has quickened me.
Zvinondinyaradza pakutambura kwangu ndezvizvi: Vimbiso yenyu inochengetedza upenyu hwangu.
51 The proud have transgressed exceedingly; but I swerved not from your law.
Vanozvikudza vanondiseka vasingaregi, asi ini handitsauki pamurayiro wenyu.
52 I remembered your judgements of old, O Lord; and was comforted.
Ndinorangarira mirayiro yenyu yekare, imi Jehovha, uye ndinonyaradzwa mairi.
53 Despair took hold upon me, because of the sinners who forsake your law.

54 Your ordinances were my songs in the place of my sojourning.

55 I remembered your name, O Lord, in the night, and kept your law.

56 This I had, because I diligently sought your ordinances.

57 You are my portion, O Lord: I said that I would keep your law.
Haiwa, Jehovha, ndimi mugove wangu; ndakavimbisa kuteerera mashoko enyu.
58 I implored your favour with my whole heart: have mercy upon me according to your word.
Ndakatsvaka chiso chenyu nomwoyo wangu wose; ndinzwirei nyasha sezvamakavimbisa.
59 I thought on your ways, and turned my feet to your testimonies.
Ndakacherechedza nzira dzangu ndikadzorera tsoka dzangu kune zvamakatema.
60 I prepared myself, (and was not terrified, ) to keep your commandments.
Ndichakurumidza uye handinganonoki kuteerera mirayiro yenyu.
61 The snares of sinners entangled me: but I forgot not your law.

62 At midnight I arose, to give thanks to you for the judgements of your righteousness.

63 I am a companion of all them that fear you, and of them that keep your commandments.

64 O Lord, the earth is full of your mercy: teach me your ordinances.

65 You have wrought kindly with your servant, o Lord, according to your word.
Makaitira muranda wenyu zvakanaka, imi Jehovha, sezvakafanira shoko renyu.
66 Teach me kindness, and instruction, and knowledge: for I have believed your commandments.
Ndidzidzisei zivo nokutonga kwakanaka, nokuti ndakatenda mirayiro yenyu.
67 Before I was afflicted, I transgressed; therefore have I kept your word.
Pandakanga ndisati ndatambudzika, ndakatsauka, asi zvino ndinoteerera shoko renyu.
68 Good are you, O Lord; therefore in your goodness teach me your ordinances.
Imi makanaka, uye munoita zvakanaka; ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
69 The injustice of the proud has been multiplied against me: but I will search out your commandments with all my heart.
Kunyange vanozvikudza vakandipomera nhema, ndinochengeta zvamakatema nomwoyo wangu wose.
70 Their heart has been curdled like milk; but I have meditated on your law.
Mwoyo yavo yakasindimara uye hainzwisisi, asi ndinofarira murayiro wenyu.
71 [It is] good for me that you have afflicted me; that I might learn your ordinances.
Zvakanga zvakanaka kuti nditambudzike, kuitira kuti ndigodzidza mitemo yenyu.
72 The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.

73 Your hands have made me, and fashioned me: instruct me, that I may learn your commandments.
Maoko enyu akandisika uye akandiumba; ndipei kunzwisisa kuti ndigodzidza mirayiro yenyu.
74 They that fear you will see me and rejoice: for I have hoped in your words.
Avo vanokutyai ngavafare pavanondiona, nokuti ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
75 I know, O Lord, that your judgements are righteousness, and [that] you in truthfulness have afflicted me.
Haiwa Jehovha, ndinoziva kuti mirayiro yenyu yakarurama, uye kuti makanditambudza mukutendeka kwenyu.
76 Let, I pray you, your mercy be to comfort me, according to your word to your servant.
Rudo rwenyu rusingaperi ngarutinyaradze, maererano nechivimbiso chenyu kumuranda wenyu.
77 Let your compassions come to me, that I may live: for your law is my (meditation)
Tsitsi dzenyu ngadziuye kwandiri kuti ndirarame, nokuti murayiro wenyu ndiwo mufaro wangu.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they transgressed against me unjustly: but I will meditate in your commandments.
Vanozvikudza ngavanyadziswe pakundikanganisira ndisina mhaka, asi ini ndichafungisisa zvirevo zvenyu.
79 Let those that fear you, and those that know your testimonies, turn to me.
Vanokutyai ngavadzokere kwandiri, ivo vanonzwisisa zvamakatema.
80 Let mine heart be blameless in your ordinances, that I may not be ashamed.
Mwoyo wangu ngaushaye chaungapomerwa pamitemo yenyu, kuti ndirege kunyadziswa.
81 My soul faints for your salvation: I have hoped in your words.
Mweya wangu unoziya nokuda kwekushuva ruponeso rwenyu, asi ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
82 Mine eyes failed [in waiting] for your word, saying, When will you comfort me?
Meso angu aneta nokutsvaga chivimbiso chenyu; ndinoti, “Muchandinyaradza riniko?”
83 For I am become as a bottle in the frost: [yet] I have not forgotten your ordinances.
Kunyange ndakaita sehomwe yewaini ndiri muutsi, handikanganwi mitemo yenyu.
84 How many are the days of your servant? when will you execute judgement for me on them that persecute me?
Muranda wenyu acharindira kusvikira riniko? Mucharanga vatambudzi vangu riniko?
85 Transgressors told me [idle tales]; but not according to your law, O Lord.

86 All your commandments are truth; they persecuted me unjustly; help you me.

87 They nearly made an end of me in the earth; but I forsook not your commandments.
Vakanga voda kundibvisa panyika, asi handina kusiya zvamakatema.
88 Quicken me according to your mercy; so shall I keep the testimonies of your mouth.
Chengetedzai upenyu hwangu zvakafanira rudo rwenyu, uye ini ndichateerera zvirevo zvomuromo wenyu.
89 Your word, O Lord, abides in heaven for ever.
Haiwa Jehovha, shoko renyu rinogara nokusingaperi; rinomira rakasimba kudenga denga.
90 Your truth [endures] to all generations; you have founded the earth, and it abides.
Kutendeka kwenyu kunoramba kuripo kusvikira kuzvizvarwa zvose; makasimbisa nyika uye inogara nokusingaperi.
91 The day continues by your arrangement; for all things are your servants.
Mirayiro yenyu iripo kusvikira iye nhasi, nokuti zvinhu zvose zvinokushumirai.
92 Were it not that your law is my (meditation) then I should have perished in mine affliction.
Dai murayiro wenyu wanga usiri mufaro wangu, ndingadai ndakafira mumatambudziko angu.
93 I will never forget your ordinances; for with them you have quickened me.
Handichazokanganwi zvamakatema, nokuti nazvo makachengetedza upenyu hwangu.
94 I am your, save me; for I have sought out your ordinances.
Ndiponesei, nokuti ndiri wenyu; ndakatsvaka zvamakatema.
95 Sinners laid wait for me to destroy me; [but] I understood your testimonies.
Vakaipa vakarindira kundiparadza, asi ini ndichafunga zvirevo zvenyu.
96 have seen an end of all perfection; [but] your commandment is very broad.
Ndinoona kuguma kwezvose zvakakwana, asi mirayiro yenyu haina magumo.
97 How I have loved your law, O Lord! it is my meditation all the day.
Haiwa, ndinoda murayiro wenyu sei! Ndinoufungisisa zuva rose.
98 You have made me wiser than mine enemies [in] your commandment; for it is mine for ever.
Mirayiro yenyu inoita kuti ndive akachenjera kupfuura vavengi vangu, nokuti inogara neni nguva dzose.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers; for your testimonies are my medication.
Ndinonzwisisa zvakawanda kupfuura vadzidzisi vangu, nokuti ndinofungisisa pamusoro pezvamakatema.
100 I understand more that the aged; because I have sought out your commandments.
Ndinonzwisisa zvikuru kupfuura vakuru, nokuti ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu.
101 I have kept back my feet from every evil way, that I might keep your words.
Ndakadzora tsoka dzangu panzira dzose dzakaipa kuti nditeerere shoko renyu.
102 I have not declined from your judgements; for you have instructed me.
Handina kubva pamirayiro yenyu, nokuti imi pachenyu makandidzidzisa.
103 How sweet are your oracles to my throat! more so than honey to my mouth!
Mashoko enyu anotapira seiko pakuaravira, anotapira kukunda uchi mumukanwa mangu!
104 I gain understanding by your commandments: therefore I have hated every way of unrighteousness.
Ndinowana kunzwisisa kubva pazvirevo zvenyu; naizvozvo ndinovenga nzira dzose dzakaipa.
105 Your law is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my paths.
Shoko renyu ndiwo mwenje wetsoka dzangu, nechiedza chenzira yangu.
106 I have sworn and determined to keep the judgements of your righteousness.
Ndakaita mhiko ndikaisimbisa, kuti ndichatevera mirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
107 I have been very greatly afflicted, O Lord: quicken me, according to your word.
Ndakatambudzika kwazvo; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu, imi Jehovha, zvakafanira shoko renyu.
108 Accept, I pray you, O Lord, the free will offerings of my mouth, and teach me your judgements.
Haiwa Jehovha, gamuchirai henyu kurumbidza kwomuromo wangu, mugondidzidzisa mirayiro yenyu.
109 My soul is continually in your hands; and I have not forgotten your law.
Kunyange ndichiramba ndakabata upenyu hwangu mumaoko angu, handizokanganwi murayiro wenyu.
110 Sinners spread a snare for me; but I erred not from your commandments.
Vakaipa vakanditeya nomusungo, asi handina kutsauka pazvirevo zvenyu.
111 I have inherited your testimonies for ever; for they are the joy of my heart.
Zvirevo zvenyu inhaka yangu nokusingaperi; ndizvo mufaro womwoyo wangu.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform your ordinances for ever, in return [for your mercies].
Mwoyo wangu wakagarira kuchengeta zvirevo zvenyu, kusvikira kumagumo.
113 I have hated transgressors; but I have loved your law.
Ndinovenga vanhu vane mwoyo miviri, asi ndinoda murayiro wenyu.
114 You are my helper and my supporter; I have hoped in your words.
Imi muri utiziro hwangu nenhoo yangu; ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
115 Depart from me, you evil-doers; for I will search out the commandments of my God.
Ibvai kwandiri, imi vaiti vezvakaipa, kuti ndichengete mirayiro yaMwari wangu!
116 Uphold me according to your word, and quicken me; and make me not ashamed of my expectation.
Nditsigirei sezvamakavimbisa, ipapo ndichararama; musarega tariro yangu ichidzimwa.
117 Help me, and I shall be saved; and I will meditate in your ordinances continually.
Nditsigirei, ipapo ndicharwirwa; ndicharamba ndine hanya nemitemo yenyu.
118 You have brought to nothing all that depart from your ordinances; for their inward thought is unrighteous.
Munoramba vose vanotsauka pamitemo yenyu, nokuti kunyengera kwavo hakuna maturo.
119 I have reckoned all the sinners of the earth as transgressors; therefore have I loved your testimonies.
Vakaipa vose venyika munovaita sengura; naizvozvo ndinoda zvamakatema.
120 Penetrate my flesh with your fear; for I am afraid of your judgements.
Nyama yangu inodedera nokuda kwokukutyai; ndinomira ndichitya mirayiro yenyu.
121 I have done judgement and justice; deliver me not up to them that injure me.
Ndakaita zvakarurama nokururamisira; musandisiya mumaoko avadzvinyiriri vangu.
122 Receive your servant for good: let not the proud accuse me falsely.
Itai kuti muranda wenyu agare zvakanaka; musarega vanozvikudza vachimudzvinyirira.
123 Mine eyes have failed for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness.
Meso angu aneta nokutsvaka ruponeso rwenyu, ndichitsvaga vimbiso yenyu yakarurama.
124 Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your ordinances.
Itirai muranda wenyu zvinoringana norudo rwenyu, uye ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
125 I am your servant; instruct me, and I shall know your testimonies.
Ndiri muranda wenyu; ndipeiwo kunzvera kuti ndigonzwisisa zvamakatema.
126 [It is] time for the Lord to work: they have utterly broken your law.
Haiwa Jehovha, inguva yenyu yokubata; murayiro wenyu uri kuputswa.
127 Therefore have I loved your commandments more than gold, or the topaz.
Nokuti ndinoda mirayiro yenyu kupfuura goridhe, kupfuura goridhe rakanatswa,
128 Therefore I directed myself [according] to all your commandments: I have hated every unjust way.
uye nokuti ndinoti zvirevo zvenyu zvose zvakarurama, ndinovenga nzira dzose dzakaipa.
129 Your testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul has sought them out.
Zvirevo zvenyu zvinoshamisa; naizvozvo ndinozviteerera.
130 The manifestation of your words will enlighten, and instruct the simple.
Kuzarurwa kweshoko renyu kunopa chiedza; kunopa kunzwisisa kuna vasina mano.
131 I opened my mouth, and drew breath: for I earnestly longed after your commandments.
Ndinoshamisa muromo wangu ndigodokwaira, ndichishuva mirayiro yenyu.
132 Look upon me and have mercy upon me, after the manner of them that love your name.
Dzokerai kwandiri mugondinzwira ngoni, sezvamunogara muchiita kuna avo vanoda zita renyu.
133 Order my steps according to your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Rayirai nhambwe dzetsoka dzangu zviri maererano neshoko renyu; chivi ngachirege kunditonga.
134 Deliver me from the false accusation of men: so will I keep your commandments.
Ndidzikinurei pakudzvinyirira kwavanhu, kuti ndigoteerera zvirevo zvenyu.
135 Cause your face to shine upon your servant: and teach me your ordinances.
Chiso chenyu ngachipenye pamusoro pomuranda wenyu, uye ndidzidzisei mitemo yenyu.
136 Mine eyes have been bathed in streams of water, because I kept not your law.
Hova dzemisodzi dzinoerera dzichibva mumeso angu, nokuti murayiro wenyu hausi kuteererwa.
137 Righteous are you, O Lord, and upright are your judgements.
Haiwa Jehovha, imi makarurama, uye mirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
138 You has commanded righteousness and perfect truth, [as] your testimonies.
Zvirevo zvenyu zvamakadzika zvakarurama; zvakavimbika kwazvo.
139 Your zeal has quite wasted me: because mine enemies have forgotten your words.
Kushingaira kwangu kunondipedza, nokuti vavengi vangu havana hanya namashoko enyu.
140 Your word [has been] very fully tried; and your servant loves it.
Vimbiso dzenyu dzakaedzwa chose, uye muranda wenyu anodzida.
141 I am young and despised: [yet] I have not forgotten your ordinances.
Kunyange ndakaderedzwa uye ndichizvidzwa hangu, handikanganwi zvirevo zvenyu.
142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is truth.
Kururama kwenyu kunogara nokusingaperi, uye murayiro wenyu ndowezvokwadi.
143 Afflictions and distresses found me: [but] your commandments [were] my (meditation)
Nhamo namatambudziko zviri pamusoro pangu, asi mirayiro yenyu ndiwo mufaro wangu.
144 Your testimonies [are] an everlasting righteousness: instruct me, and I shall live.

145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will search out your ordinances.

146 I cried to you; save me, and I will keep your testimonies.

147 I arose before the dawn, and cried: I hoped in your words.
Ndinomuka mambakwedza asati asvika ndigochemera kubatsirwa; ndakaisa tariro yangu pashoko renyu.
148 Mine eyes prevented the dawn, that I might meditate on your oracles.
Meso angu anogara akasvinura panguva dzose dzousiku, kuti ndifungisise pamusoro pevimbiso dzenyu.
149 Hear my voice, O Lord, according to your mercy; quicken me according to your judgement.
Inzwai inzwi rangu sezvakafanira rudo rwenyu; haiwa Jehovha, chengetedzai upenyu hwangu zviri maererano nemirayiro yenyu.
150 They have drawn near who persecuted me unlawfully; and they are far removed from your law.
Vanoita mano akaipa vari pedyo, asi vari kure nomurayiro wenyu.
151 You are near, O Lord; and all your ways are truth.
Asi imi muri pedyo, Jehovha, uye mirayiro yenyu yose ndeyezvokwadi.
152 I have known of old concerning your testimonies, that you have founded them for ever.
Ndakadzidza pane zvamakatema kare, kuti makazvisimbisa kuti zvigare nokusingaperi.
153 Look upon mine affliction, and rescue me; for I have not forgotten your law.
Tarirai kutambudzika kwangu mugondirwira, nokuti handina kukanganwa murayiro wenyu.
154 Plead my cause, and ransom me: quicken me because of your word.
Miririrai mhosva yangu uye mundidzikinure; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu maererano nevimbiso yenyu.
155 Salvation is far from sinners: for they have not searched out your ordinances.
Ruponeso rwuri kure navakaipa, nokuti havatsvaki mitemo yenyu.
156 Your mercies, O Lord, are many: quicken me according to your judgement.
Haiwa Jehovha, tsitsi dzenyu ihuru; chengetedzai upenyu hwangu maererano nemirayiro yenyu.
157 Many are they that persecute me and oppress me: [but] I have not declined from your testimonies.
Vavengi vangu navanonditambudza vazhinji, asi handina kutsauka pane zvamakatema.
158 I saw men acting foolishly, and I pined away; for they kept not your oracles.
Ndinotarira kuna vasingatendi ndichisema, nokuti havateereri shoko renyu.
159 Behold, I have loved your commandments, O Lord: quicken me in your mercy.
Tarirai madiro andinoita zvirevo zvenyu; haiwa Jehovha, chengetedzai upenyu hwangu, maererano norudo rwenyu.
160 The beginning of your words is truth; and all the judgements of your righteousness [endure] for ever.
Mashoko enyu ose ndeechokwadi; mirayiro yenyu yose yakarurama ndeyokusingaperi.
161 Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of your words.
Vatongi vanonditambudza ndisina mhaka, asi mwoyo wangu unodedera pashoko renyu.
162 I will exult because of your oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
Ndinofarira vimbiso yenyu kufanana nouyo anowana zvakapambwa zvizhinji.
163 I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love your law.
Ndinovenga uye ndinosema nhema, asi ndinoda murayiro wenyu.
164 Seven times in a day have I praised you because of the judgements of your righteousness.
Ndinokurumbidzai kanomwe pazuva, nokuda kwemirayiro yenyu yakarurama.
165 Great peace have they that love your law: and there is no stumbling block to them.
Vanoda murayiro wenyu vano rugare rukuru, uye hakuna chingavagumbusa.
166 I waited for your salvation, O Lord, and have loved your commandments.
Haiwa Jehovha, ndakamirira ruponeso rwenyu, uye ndinotevera mirayiro yenyu.
167 My soul has kept your testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
Ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu, nokuti ndinozvida zvikuru.
168 I have kept your commandments and your testimonies; for all my ways are before you, O Lord.
Ndinoteerera zvirevo zvenyu nezvamakatema, nokuti nzira dzangu dzose dzinozivikanwa nemi.
169 Let my supplication come near before you, o Lord; instruct me according to your oracle.
Dai kuchema kwangu kwasvika pamberi penyu, imi Jehovha; ndipeiwo kunzwisisa maererano neshoko renyu.
170 Let my petition come in before you, O Lord; deliver me according to your oracle.
Kukumbira kwangu dai kwasvika pamberi penyu; ndirwirei maererano nevimbiso yenyu.
171 Let my lips utter a hymn, when you shall have taught me your ordinances.
Miromo yangu dai yafashukira nerumbidzo, nokuti munondidzidzisa mitemo yenyu.
172 Let my tongue utter your oracles; for all your commandments are righteous.
Rurimi rwangu dai rwaimba nezveshoko renyu, nokuti mirayiro yenyu yose yakarurama.
173 Let your hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen your commandments.
Ruoko rwenyu dai rwagadzirira kundibatsira, nokuti ndakasarudza zvirevo zvenyu.
174 I have longed after your salvation, O Lord; and your law is my (meditation)
Haiwa Jehovha, ndinoshuva ruponeso rwenyu, uye murayiro wenyu ndiwo mufaro wangu.
175 My soul shall live, and shall praise you; and your judgements shall help me.
Regai ndirarame kuti ndigokurumbidzai, uye dai mirayiro yenyu yandibatsira.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I have not forgotten your commandments.
Ndakatsauka segwai rakarasika. Tsvakai muranda wenyu, nokuti handina kukanganwa mirayiro yenyu.
