< Psalms 118 >
1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Alabád a Jehová, porque es bueno; porque para siempre es su misericordia.
2 Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Diga ahora Israel: Que para siempre es su misericordia.
3 Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Digan ahora la casa de Aarón: Que para siempre es su misericordia.
4 Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
Digan ahora los que temen a Jehová: Que para siempre es su misericordia.
5 I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he listened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
Desde la angustia llamé a Jehová; y Jehová me respondió con anchura.
6 The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
Jehová es por mí: no temeré lo que me haga el hombre.
7 The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
Jehová es por mí entre los que me ayudan: por tanto yo veré venganza en los que me aborrecen.
8 [It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
Mejor es esperar en Jehová, que esperar en hombre.
9 [It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
Mejor es esperar en Jehová, que esperar en príncipes.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Todas las gentes me cercaron: en nombre de Jehová, que yo los talaré.
11 They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Cercáronme, y tornáronme a cercar: en nombre de Jehová, que yo los talaré.
12 They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire amongst thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
Cercáronme como abejas, fueron apagados como fuego de espinos: en nombre de Jehová, que yo los talaré.
13 I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
Rempujando me rempujaste para que cayese: mas Jehová me ayudó.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
Mi fortaleza y mi canción es Jehová; y él me ha sido por salud.
15 The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
Voz de jubilación y de salud hay en las tiendas de los justos: la diestra de Jehová hace valentías.
16 The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
La diestra de Jehová sublime: la diestra de Jehová hace valentías.
17 I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
No moriré, mas viviré; y contaré las obras de Jehová.
18 The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
Castigando me castigó Jehová: mas no me entregó a la muerte.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
Abrídme las puertas de la justicia: entraré por ellas, alabaré a Jehová.
20 This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
Esta puerta de Jehová, los justos entrarán por ella.
21 I will give thanks to you; because you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Alabarte he; porque me oíste; y me fuiste por salud.
22 The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
La piedra que desecharon los edificadores, ha sido por cabeza de esquina.
23 This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
De parte de Jehová es esto, y es maravilla en nuestros ojos.
24 This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
Este es el día que hizo Jehová: gozarnos hemos y alegrarnos hemos en él.
25 O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
Ruégote, o! Jehová, salva ahora: ruégote, o! Jehová, haz ahora prosperar.
26 Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
Bendito el que viene en nombre de Jehová: os bendecimos desde la casa de Jehová.
27 God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
Dios es Jehová, que nos ha resplandecido: atád víctimas con cuerdas a los cuernos del altar.
28 You are my God, and I will give you thanks: you are my God, and I will exalt you. I will give thanks to you, for you have heard me, and are become my salvation.
Dios mío eres tú, y a ti alabaré: Dios mío, a ti ensalzaré.
29 Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
