< Psalms 11 >

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. In the Lord I have put my trust: how will you say to my soul, Flee to the mountains as a sparrow?
Dāvida dziesma. Dziedātāju vadonim. Es paļaujos uz To Kungu. Kā tad jūs sakāt uz manu dvēseli: skrej uz saviem kalniem kā putns!
2 For behold the sinners have bent their [bow], they have prepared their arrows for the quiver, to shoot For privily at the upright in heart.
Jo redzi, bezdievīgie uzvelk stopu, tie liek savas bultas uz auklām, slepeni šaut tos, kas sirds taisni.
3 For they have pulled down what you did frame, but what has the righteous done?
Jo pamati top nopostīti; ko darīs taisnais?
4 The Lord is in his holy temple, as for the Lord, his throne is in heaven: his eyes look upon the poor, his eyelids try the sons of men.
Tas Kungs ir Savā svētā namā, Tā Kunga godības krēsls ir debesīs, Viņa acis skatās, Viņa acu skati pārmana cilvēku bērnus.
5 The Lord tries the righteous and the ungodly: and he that loves unrighteousness hates his own soul.
Tas Kungs pārbauda taisno, bet bezdievīgo un varas darbu mīļotāju Viņa dvēsele ienīst.
6 He shall rain upon sinners snares, fire, and brimstone, and a stormy blast [shall be] the portion of their cup.
Pār bezdievīgiem Viņš liks līt valgiem, ugunij un sēram, un varena vētra būs viņu daļa.
7 For the Lord [is] righteous, and loves righteousness; his face beholds uprightness.
Jo Tas Kungs ir taisns, Viņš mīļo taisnību, Viņa vaigs uzlūko taisno.
