< Psalms 105 >

1 Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord, and call upon his name; declare his works amongst the heathen.
Andriaño t’Iehovà, kanjio ty tahina’e; ampahafohino ondatio o fitoloña’eo.
2 Sing to him, yes, sing praises to him: tell forth all his wonderful works.
Isabò, rengeo an-tsabo; talilio o raha fanjaka nanoe’eo.
3 Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them that seek the Lord rejoice.
Mitreña, amy tahina’e masiñey; ampirebehañ’ añ’arofo’ o mipay Iehovào.
4 Seek you the Lord, and be strengthened; seek his face continually.
Paiavo t’Iehovà naho ty haozara’e; tsoeho nainai’e ty lahara’e.
5 Remember his wonderful works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgements of his mouth;
Tiahio o raha fanjaka nanoe’eo, o halatsañeo, naho o fizakam-palie’eo.
6 [you] seed of Abraam, his servants, [you] children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
Ry tarira’ i Avrahame mpitoro’eo, ry ana’ Iakobe jinobo’eo;
7 He is the Lord our God; his judgements are in all the earth.
Ie t’Iehovà Andrianañaharentika; mahaatseke ty tane toy o fandilia’eo.
8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generation:
Toe tiahi’e nainai’e i fañina’ey, i tsara linili’e pak’an-tarira’e fah’arivo’e,
9 which he established as a covenant to Abraam, and [he remembered] his oath to Isaac.
i nanoe’e amy Avrahamey, naho i nifantà’e am’ Ietsakey,
10 And he established it to Jacob for an ordinance, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
vaho niventè’e am’Iakobe ho fañè, amy Israele ho fañina nainai’e:
11 saying To you will I give the land of Chanaan, the line of your inheritance:
ami’ty hoe: Hatoloko azo ty tane’ Kanàne, ty anjara lova’o.
12 when they were few in number, very few, and sojourners in it.
Ie ondaty mbe nitsiampeampe, toe nitsiampe, mbore nirenetane ama’e,
13 And they went from nation to nation, and from [one] kingdom to another people.
ie nitsatsà-tane mb’an-tane, boak’am-pifeheañe raike sikal’am’ondaty ila’eo.
14 He suffered no man to wrong them; and he rebuked kings for their sakes:
tsy nimetea’e ho lovilovie’ ondatio; le trinevo’e o mpanjakao ty am’ iereo:
15 [saying], Touch not my anointed ones; and do my prophets no harm.
Ko mitsipaoke o norizakoo; le ko joie’ areo o mpitokikoo.
16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land; he broke the whole support of bread.
Le nikanjie’e san-kerè o taneo, fonga nifolahe’e o tahon-kaneñeo;
17 He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold for a slave.
Nirahe’e t’indaty hiaolo iareo, Iosefe naletake ho ondevo.
18 They hurt his feet with fetters; his soul passed into iron,
Jinoi’ iareo am-bahotse o fandia’eo, najo am-po viñe ao i sandri’ey,
19 until the time that his cause came on; the word of the Lord tried him as fire.
ampara’ ty andro nañenefañe i nitokia’ey, namente aze ty tsara’ Iehovà.
20 The king sent and loosed him; [even] the prince of the people, and let him go free.
Nafanto’ i mpanjakay le nabalake re, hinaha’ ty mpifehe’ ondatio,
21 He made him Lord over his house, and ruler of all his substance;
Nanoe’e talèn’ anjomba’e naho mpamandroñe o vara’eo,
22 to chastise his rulers at his pleasure, and to teach his elders wisdom.
nifehe o roandria’eo an-tsatri’e, nanoro hihitse amo androanavio.
23 Israel also came into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Cham.
Nimoake e Mitsraime ao ka t’Israele, nitaveañe an-tane’ i Kame añe t’Iakobe.
24 And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their enemies.
Le nampanaranahe’e ondati’eo; vaho nampaozare’e ambone’ o rafelahi’iareoo
25 And he turned their heart to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.
Nampifotere’e ty arofo’ iareo halaiñe ondati’eo, hikinia o mpitoro’eo.
26 He sent fort Moses his servant, [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
Nirahe’e t’i Mosè mpitoro’e, i Aharone jinobo’ey.
27 He established amongst them his signs, and [his] wonders in the land of Cham.
Nanoe’ iereo añivo’ iareo eo o raha tsitantane’eo, naho halatsàñe an-tane’ i Kame ao.
28 He sent forth darkness, and made it dark; yet they rebelled against his words.
Nañitrifa’e ieñe, le nampimoromoroñe’e, vaho tsy niolà’ iareo o tsara’eo.
29 He turned their waters into blood, and killed their fish.
Novae’e ho lio ty rano’ iareo, naho zinama’e o fia’ iareoo.
30 Their land produced frogs abundantly, in the chambers of their kings.
Nisamborian-tsahoñe ty tane’ iareo, añ’efem-pandrea’ o mpanjaka’ iareoo.
31 He spoke, and the dog-fly came, and lice in all their coasts.
Nitsara re, le niropahen-daletse, naho nandrambañe ty tane’ iareo ty haon-doha.
32 He turned their rain into hail, [and sent] flaming fire in their land.
Tinolo’e havandra hisolo orañe, naho afo nilebaleba an-tane’ iareo.
33 And he struck their vines and their fig trees; and broke every tree of their coast.
Finofo’e o vahe’eo naho o sakoa’eo, vaho tsineratsera’e o hatae an-tane’iareoo.
34 He spoke, and the locust came, and caterpillars innumerable,
Nisaontsie’e, le nimb’eo o betratrao, naho ty kijeja tsy fotofoto;
35 and devoured all the grass in their land, and devoured the fruit of the ground.
hene navorembore’ iereo ze naindoñe an-tane’ iareo ao, fonga nabotseke ty vokan-tane’ iareo.
36 He struck also every firstborn of their land, the first fruits of all their labour.
Nampivetrahe’e iaby ka o tañoloñoloñan-tane’ iareoo, ze hene lengom-boan- kaozara’iareo.
37 And he brought them out with silver and gold; and there was not a feeble one amongst their tribes.
Le nakare’e reketse volafoty naho volamena t’Israele, leo raike tsy nitsikapy amo rofoko’eo.
38 Egypt rejoiced at their departing; for the fear of them fell upon them.
Nifale t’i Mitsraime t’ie niakatse, fa nivotraha’ ty fihembañañe.
39 He spread out a cloud for a covering to them, and fire to give them light by night.
Nandafiha’e rahoñe ho fialofañe, naho afo ho fañazavàn-kaleñe.
40 They asked, and the quail came, and he satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
Nihalaly iereo le nanjotsoa’e hatrakatrake, nampieneña’e mahakaman-dikerañe.
41 He clave the rock, and the waters flowed, rivers ran in dry places.
Sinoka’e i lamilamiy, le nidoandoañe ty rano nikararake an-dratraratra ao hoe saka.
42 For he remembered his holy word, which [he promised] to Abraam his servant.
Fa nitiahi’e i tsara’e masiñe amy Avrahame mpitoro’ey.
43 And he brought out his people with exultation, and his chosen with joy;
Le naaka’e am-pirebehañe ondati’eo, am-pazake o jinobo’eo;
44 and gave them the lands of the heathen; and they inherited the labours of the people;
natolo’e ty tane’ o kilakila ondatio, vaho rinambe’ iareo ho lova o nimokora’ ondatioo:
45 that they might keep his ordinances, and diligently seek his law.
