< Psalms 104 >
1 [A Psalm] of David. Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are very great; you have clothed yourself with praise and honour:
Aw ka hinghaih, Angraeng to tahamhoihaih paek ah; Aw Angraeng ka Sithaw, nang loe na len parai; nang loe lensawk thacakhaih hoiah nam thoep.
2 who do robe yourself with light as with a garment; spreading out the heaven as a curtain.
Anih loe aanghaih to kahni baktiah angkhuk; vannawk to kahni im baktiah payuengh,
3 Who covers his chambers with waters; who makes the clouds his chariot; who walks on the wings of the wind.
a ohhaih ranui im tung to tuinawk thungah a suek; tamainawk to hrang lakok ah a sak moe, takhi ih pakhraehnawk nuiah a caeh,
4 Who makes his angels spirits, and his ministers a flaming fire.
angmah ih vankaminawk to takhi baktiah a sak; angmah ih toksah kaminawk to hmaipalai baktiah a sak;
5 Who establishes the earth on her sure foundation: it shall not be moved for ever.
dungzan khoek to angthuih ving han ai ah, long angdoethaih ahmuen to a sak.
6 The deep, as it were a garment, is his covering: the waters shall stand on the hills.
Long to kahni hoiah khuk baktih toengah kathuk tui hoiah na khuk; maenawk nuiah tui na ohsak.
7 At your rebuke they shall flee; at the voice of your thunder they shall be alarmed.
Na thuitaek pongah tuinawk loe cawnh o; nangmah ih khopazih tuen pongah karangah a cawnh o.
8 They go up to the mountains, and down to the plains, to the place which you have founded for them.
Tuinawk loe mae nuiah long o tahang; azawnnawk ah long o tathuk moe, nihcae han na sak pae ih ahmuen ah a long o.
9 You have set a bound which they shall not pass, neither shall they turn again to cover the earth.
Tuinawk amlaem o moe, long to uem han ai ah, tui doeh amsah han ai ah, angzithaih ramri to na suek pae.
10 He sends forth his fountains amongst the valleys: the waters shall run between the mountains.
Maenawk salak ih azawnnawk ah tui to na pueksak.
11 They shall give drink to all the wild beasts of the field: the wild asses shall take [of them] to [quench] their thirst.
Taw ah kaom moinawk boih hanah na naeksak; taw ih hrangnawk tui anghae na dipsak.
12 By them shall the birds of the sky lodge: they shall utter a voice out of the midst of the rocks.
Van ih tavaanawk loe tui taengah tabu boh o; thing tanghangnawk salakah hang o.
13 He waters the mountains from his chambers: the earth shall be satisfied with the fruit of your works.
A ohhaih ranui ih im hoiah maenawk to tui a bawh; long loe na toksakhaih atho hoiah zok amhah boeh.
14 He makes grass to grow for the cattle, and green herb for the service of men, to bring bread out of the earth;
Anih mah maitawnawk hanah phroh amprawksak; kami hanah anqam kahing amprawksak pongah, kami loe long hoiah caaknaek to a hnuk,
15 and wine makes glad the heart of man, to make his face cheerful with oil: and bread strengthens man's heart.
kami poeknawmsak thaih misurtui, mikhmai pansak hanah situi, palungthin thacaksak hanah takaw to a paek.
16 The trees of the plain shall be full [of sap]; [even] the cedars of Libanus which he has planted.
Angraeng ih thingnawk loe tui amhah o; Lebanon ah a thling ih sidar thingnawk nuiah,
17 There the sparrows will build their nests; and the house of the heron takes the lead amongst them.
tavaanawk tabu boh o; tahnong kapaw tuilawnnawk loe far thingnawk nuiah tabu boh o.
18 The high mountains are a refuge for the stags, [and] the rock for the rabbits.
Maesangnawk to saza hoi satharnawk prathaih ahmuen ah a suek; cathaengnawk loe savehnawk ohhaih ahmuen ah a suek pae.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
Atue panoek hanah khrah to a sak; ni mah doeh niduemhaih atue to panoek.
20 You did make darkness, and it was night; in it all the wild beasts of the forest will be abroad:
Vinghaih to na sak moe, khoving naah, taw ih moinawk boih avah o.
21 [even] young lions roaring for prey, and to seek meat for themselves from God.
Saning nawk kaipuinawk loe taw ih moinawk kaek hanah a hang o; Sithaw khaeah caak han koi moi to pakrong o.
22 The sun arises, and they shall be gathered together, and shall lie down in their dens.
Ni tacawt naah nawnto angpop o moe, angmacae ih thlungkhaw thungah tabok o.
23 Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labour till evening.
To naah kami loe toksak hanah caeh moe, duembang khoek to tok a sak.
24 How great are your works, O Lord! in wisdom have you wrought them all: the earth is filled with your creation.
Aw Angraeng, na toksakhaih loe pop parai! To hmuennawk boih to palunghahaih hoiah na sak; long loe na sak ih hmuennawk hoiah koi,
25 [So is] this great and wide sea: there are things creeping innumerable, small animals and great.
kakawk parai tuipui doeh oh moe, kathoeng kalen moinawk hoi kroeklaek ai, long ah kavak moinawk doeh oh o.
26 There go the ships; [and] this dragon whom you have made to play in it.
Palongpuinawk loe to ahmuen ah caeh o; to ah amhai hanah, na sak ih kalen pui Leviathan doeh oh.
27 All wait upon you, to give them [their] food in due season.
To moinawk loe nang khaeah ni amha o, atue phak naah to moinawk to na pacah.
28 When you have given [it] them, they will gather [it]; and when you have opened your hand, they shall all be filled with good.
Na paek ih buh to ni, nihcae mah caak o; na ban pathae naah nihcae loe kahoih hmuen hoiah koi o.
29 But when you have turned away your face, they shall be troubled: you will take away their breath, and they shall fail, and return to their dust.
Mikhmai na hawk naah, nihcae raihaih tong o; nihcae anghahhaih takhi na lak pae ving naah, nihcae loe duek o moe, maiphu ah amlaem o let.
30 You shall send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created; and you shall renew the face of the earth.
Na Muithla to na patoeh moe, nihcae to na sak; long krang hae nang thasak let.
31 Let the glory of the Lord be for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works;
Angraeng lensawkhaih loe dungzan khoek to om poe tih; Angraeng loe a toksakhaihnawk pongah anghoe tih.
32 who looks upon the earth, and makes it tremble; who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
Long to a khet moe, anghuensak; anih mah maenawk sui naah, hmaikhue tacawt o.
33 I will sing to the Lord while I live; I will sing praise to my God while I exist.
Ka hing thung Angraeng khaeah laa ka sak han; khosak nathung ka Sithaw pakoehhaih laa to ka sak han.
34 Let my meditation be sweet to him: and I will rejoice in the Lord.
Ka poekhaih loe angmah khaeah anghoehaih ah om nasoe; kai loe Angraeng ah kang hoe han.
35 Let the sinners fail from off the earth, and transgressors, so that they shall be no more. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
