Numbers 3
1 And these [are] the generations of Aaron and Moses, in the day in which the Lord spoke to Moses in mount Sina.
Acestea sunt de asemenea generațiile lui Aaron și Moise în ziua în care DOMNUL a vorbit cu Moise pe muntele Sinai.
2 And these [are] the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn; and Abiud, Eleazar and Ithamar.
Și acestea sunt numele fiilor lui Aaron, Nadab întâiul născut și Abihu, Eleazar și Itamar.
3 These [are] the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests whom they consecrated to the priesthood.
Acestea sunt numele fiilor lui Aaron, preoții care au fost unși, pe care el i-a consacrat să servească în serviciul de preot.
4 And Nadab and Abiud died before the Lord, when they offered strange fire before the Lord, in the wilderness of Sina; and they had no children; and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priests' office with Aaron their father.
Și Nadab și Abihu au murit înaintea DOMNULUI, când au oferit foc străin înaintea DOMNULUI, în pustiul Sinai și nu au avut copii și Eleazar și Itamar au servit în serviciul de preot înaintea ochilor tatălui lor Aaron.
5 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

6 Take the tribe of Levi, and you shall set them before Aaron the priest, and they shall minister to him,
Apropie tribul lui Levi și prezintă-i înaintea lui Aaron preotul, ca ei să îi servească.
7 and shall keep his charges, and the charges of the children of Israel, before the tabernacle of witness, to do the works of the tabernacle.
Și ei să păzească însărcinarea lui și însărcinarea întregii adunări înaintea tabernacolului întâlnirii, pentru a face serviciul tabernacolului.
8 And they shall keep all the furniture of the tabernacle of witness, and the charges of the children of Israel as to all the works of the tabernacle.

9 And you shall give the Levites to Aaron, and to his sons the priests; they are given for a gift to me of the children of Israel.

10 And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons over the tabernacle of witness; and they shall keep their charge of priesthood, and all things belonging to the altar, and within the veil; and the stranger that touches them shall die.
Și să rânduiești pe Aaron și pe fiii săi, iar ei să servească în serviciul lor preoțesc și străinul care se apropie să fie dat morții.
11 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Și DOMNUL i-a vorbit lui Moise, spunând:
12 Behold, I have taken the Levites from the midst of the children of Israel, instead of every male that opens the womb from amongst the children of Israel: they shall be their ransom, and the Levites shall be mine.
Și eu, iată, am luat pe leviți dintre copiii lui Israel în locul tuturor întâilor născuți care deschid pântecele printre copiii lui Israel; de aceea leviții să fie ai mei;
13 For every firstborn [is] mine; in the day in which I struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I sanctified to myself every firstborn in Israel: both of man and beast, they shall be mine: I [am] the Lord.
Deoarece toți întâii născuți sunt ai mei, pentru că în ziua în care am lovit pe toți întâii născuți în țara Egiptului mi-am sfințit pe toți întâii născuți în Israel, deopotrivă om și animal; ai mei vor fi: Eu sunt DOMNUL.
14 And the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sina, saying,
Și DOMNUL i-a vorbit lui Moise în pustiul Sinai, spunând:
15 Take the number of the sons of Levi, according to the houses of their families, according to their divisions; number you them every male from a month old and upwards.
Numără copiii lui Levi după casa părinților lor, după familiile lor, să îi numeri fiecare parte bărbătească de la vârsta de o lună în sus.
16 And Moses and Aaron numbered them by the word of the Lord, as the Lord commanded them.
Și Moise i-a numărat conform cu cuvântul DOMNULUI, precum i s-a poruncit.
17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gedson, Caath, and Merari.
Și aceștia au fost fiii lui Levi după numele lor, Gherșon și Chehat și Merari.
18 And these [are] the names of the sons of Gedson according to their families; Lobeni and Semei:
Și acestea sunt numele fiilor lui Gherșon după familiile lor, Libni și Șimei.
19 and the sons of Caath according to their families; Amram and Issaar, Chebron and Oziel:
Și fiii lui Chehat după familiile lor: Amram și Ițehar, Hebron și Uziel.
20 and the sons of Merari according to their families, Mooli and Musi; these are the families of the Levites according to the houses of their families.
Și fiii lui Merari după familiile lor, Mahli și Muși. Acestea sunt familiile leviților conform cu casa părinților lor.
21 To Gedson belongs the family of Lobeni, and the family of Semei: these are the families of Gedson.
Din Gherșon a fost familia libniților și familia șimiților, acestea sunt familiile gherșoniților.
22 The numbering of them according to the number of every male from a month old and upwards, their numbering [was] seven thousand and five hundred.
Cei numărați dintre ei, conform cu numărul tuturor celor de parte bărbătească, de la vârsta de o lună în sus, cei numărați dintre ei au fost șapte mii cinci sute.
23 And the sons of Gedson shall encamp westward behind the tabernacle.

24 And the ruler of the household of the family of Gedson [was] Elisaph the son of Dael.
Și mai marele casei tatălui gherșoniților să fie Eliasaf, fiul lui Lael.
25 And the charge of the sons of Gedson in the tabernacle of witness [was] the tent and the veil, and the covering of the door of the tabernacle of witness,

26 and the curtains of the court, and the veil of the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and the remainder of all its works.

27 To Caath [belonged] one division, that of Amram, and another division, that of Issaar, and another division, that of Chebron, and another division, that of Oziel: these are the divisions of Caath, according to number.

28 Every male from a month old and upward, eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charges of the holy things.
În numărul tuturor celor de parte bărbătească de la vârsta de o lună în sus, au fost opt mii șase sute, având însărcinarea sanctuarului.
29 The families of the sons of Caath, shall encamp beside the tabernacle towards the south.
Familiile fiilor lui Chehat să își așeze corturile în partea de sud a tabernacolului.
30 And the chief of the house of the families of the divisions of Caath, [was] Elisaphan the son of Oziel.
Și mai marele casei tatălui familiilor chehatiților să fie Elițafan, fiul lui Uziel.
31 And their charge [was] the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and all the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they do holy service, and the veil, and all their works.
Și însărcinarea lor să fie chivotul și masa și sfeșnicul și altarele și vasele sanctuarului cu care ei servesc și perdeaua și tot serviciul lor.
32 And the chief over the chief of the Levites, [was] Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, appointed to keep the charges of the holy things.
Și Eleazar, fiul preotului Aaron, să fie mai marele peste mai marele leviților și să aibă supravegherea celor ce păstrează însărcinarea sanctuarului.
33 To Merari [belonged] the family of Mooli, and the family of Musi: these are the families of Merari.
Din Merari a fost familia mahliților și familia mușiților, acestea sunt familiile lui Merari.
34 The mustering of them according to number, every male from a month old and upwards, [was] six thousand and fifty.
Și cei numărați dintre ei, conform cu numărul tuturor celor de parte bărbătească de la vârsta de o lună în sus, au fost șase mii două sute.
35 And the head of the house of the families of the division of Merari, was Suriel the son of Abichail: they shall encamp by the side of the tabernacle northwards.
Și mai marele casei tatălui familiilor lui Merari a fost Țuriel, fiul lui Abihail, aceștia să își așeze corturile în partea de nord a tabernacolului.
36 The oversight of the charge of the sons of Merari [included] the chapiters of the tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its sockets, and all their furniture, and their works,
Și sub custodia și însărcinarea fiilor lui Merari să fie scândurile tabernacolului și drugii lui și stâlpii lui și soclurile lor și toate vasele lui și tot ce servește acolo,
37 and the pillars of the court round about, and their bases, and their pins, and their cords.
Și stâlpii curții de jur împrejur și soclurile lor și țărușii lor și frânghiile lor.
38 They that encamp before the tabernacle of witness on the east [shall be] Moses and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charges of the sanctuary according to the charges of the children of Israel; and the stranger that touches them, shall die.
Dar cei ce își așază tabăra înaintea tabernacolului spre est, înaintea tabernacolului întâlnirii spre est, să fie Moise și Aaron și fiii săi, având însărcinarea sanctuarului ca sarcină a copiilor lui Israel; și străinul care se apropie să fie dat morții.
39 All the numbering of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered by the word of the Lord, according to their families, every male from a month old and upwards, [were] two and twenty thousand.
Toți cei numărați dintre leviți, pe care Moise și Aaron i-au numărat la porunca DOMNULUI, prin toate familiile lor, toți cei de parte bărbătească în vârstă de la o lună în sus, au fost douăzeci și două de mii.
40 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Count every firstborn male of the children of Israel from a month old and upwards, and take the number by name.
Și DOMNUL i-a spus lui Moise: Numără pe toți întâii născuți din cei de parte bărbătească dintre copiii lui Israel de la vârsta de o lună în sus și ia numărul numelor lor.
41 And you shall take the Levites for me—I [am] the Lord—instead of all the firstborn of the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstborn amongst the cattle of the children of Israel.
Și să iei pe leviți pentru mine (eu sunt DOMNUL) în locul tuturor întâilor născuți ai copiilor lui Israel; și vitele leviților în locul întâilor pui născuți ai vitelor copiilor lui Israel.
42 And Moses counted, as the Lord commanded him, every firstborn amongst the children of Israel.
Și Moise a numărat precum DOMNUL i-a poruncit, pe toți întâii născuți dintre copiii lui Israel.
43 And all the male firstborn in number by name, from a month old and upwards, were according to their numbering twenty-two thousand and two hundred and seventy-three.
Și toți întâii născuți de parte bărbătească după numărul numelor, de la vârsta de o lună în sus, dintre cei care au fost numărați dintre ei, erau douăzeci și două de mii două sute șaptezeci și trei.
44 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Și DOMNUL i-a vorbit lui Moise, spunând:
45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle, and the Levites shall be mine; I [am] the Lord.
Ia pe leviți în locul tuturor întâilor născuți ai copiilor lui Israel și vitele leviților în locul vitelor acelora; și leviții să fie ai mei: Eu sunt DOMNUL.
46 And for the ransoms of the two hundred and seventy-three which exceed the Levites in number of the firstborn of the sons of Israel;
Și pentru cei care trebuie răscumpărați, cei două sute șaptezeci și trei dintre întâii născuți ai copiilor lui Israel, care sunt mai mulți decât leviții,
47 you shall even take five shekels a head; you shall take them according to the holy didrachm, twenty oboli to the shekel.
Să iei cinci șekeli de fiecare cap; după șekelul sanctuarului să îi iei (șekelul are douăzeci de ghere),
48 And you shall give the money to Aaron and to his sons, the ransom of those who exceed in number amongst them.
Și să dai banii, cu care trebuie răscumpărat numărul celor în plus, lui Aaron și fiilor săi.
49 And Moses took the silver, the ransom of those that exceeded in number the redemption of the Levites.
Și Moise a luat banii de răscumpărare de la cei care depășeau numărul celor răscumpărați de leviți,
50 He took the silver from the firstborn of the sons of Israel, a thousand and three hundred and sixty-five shekels, according to the holy shekel.
De la întâii născuți ai copiilor lui Israel a luat banii; o mie trei sute șaizeci și cinci de șekeli, după șekelul sanctuarului.
51 And Moses gave the ransom of them that were over to Aaron and his sons, by the word of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Și Moise a dat banii de la cei ce fuseseră răscumpărați, lui Aaron și fiilor săi, conform cuvântului DOMNULUI, precum DOMNUL i-a poruncit lui Moise.
