Numbers 26
1 And it came to pass after the plague, that the Lord spoke to Moses and Eleazar the priest, saying,
Lẹ́yìn àjàkálẹ̀-ààrùn Olúwa sọ fún Mose àti Eleasari ọmọ Aaroni, àlùfáà pé,
2 Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, according to the houses of their lineage, every one that goes forth to battle in Israel.
“Ka iye gbogbo àwọn ọmọ Israẹli gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọ́n; láti ẹni ogun ọdún àti jù bẹ́ẹ̀ lọ tí ó lè jà lójú ogun ní Israẹli.”
3 And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke in Araboth of Moab at the Jordan by Jericho, saying,
Lórí pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ ti Moabu pẹ̀lú Jordani tí ó kọjá Jeriko, Mose àti Eleasari àlùfáà sọ̀rọ̀ pẹ̀lú wọn ó wí pé,
4 [This is the numbering] from twenty years old and upward as the Lord commanded Moses. And the sons of Israel that came out of Egypt [are as follows]:
“Ka iye àwọn ọkùnrin tí ó jẹ́ ọmọ-ogun ọdún tàbí jù bẹ́ẹ̀ lọ, gẹ́gẹ́ bí Olúwa ti pàṣẹ fún Mose.” Èyí ni àwọn ọmọ Israẹli tí ó jáde láti Ejibiti wá.
5 Ruben [was] the firstborn of Israel: and the sons of Ruben, Enoch, and the family of Enoch; to Phallu belongs the family of the Phalluites.
Àwọn ọmọ Reubeni, àkọ́bí ọmọkùnrin Israẹli, láti ẹni ti ìdílé Hanoku, láti ọ̀dọ̀ ẹni tí ìdílé Hanoku ti jáde wá, láti ìdílé Pallu, láti ọ̀dọ̀ ẹni tí ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Pallu ti jáde wá;
6 To Asron, the family of Asroni: to Charmi, the family of Charmi.
ti Hesroni, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Hesroni; ti Karmi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Karmi.
7 These [are] the families of Ruben; and their numbering was forty-three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Reubeni; àwọn tí a sì kà nínú wọn jẹ́ ẹgbàá mọ́kànlélógún ó lé lẹ́gbẹ̀sán ó dín àádọ́rin.
8 And the sons of Phallu [were] Eliab, —
Àwọn ọmọkùnrin Pallu ni Eliabu,
9 and the sons of Eliab, Namuel, and Dathan, and Abiron: these [are] renowned men of the congregation; these are they that rose up against Moses and Aaron in the gathering of Core, in the rebellion against the Lord.

10 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up them and Core, when their assembly perished, when the fire devoured the two hundred and fifty, and they were made a sign.
Ilẹ̀ sì la ẹnu rẹ̀, ó sì gbé wọn mì pọ̀ pẹ̀lú Kora, nígbà tí ẹgbẹ́ rẹ̀ kú níbi tí iná ti run àwọn àádọ́ta lé nígba ọkùnrin. Tí wọ́n sì di àmì ìkìlọ̀.
11 But the sons of Core died not.
Àwọn ọmọ Kora, bí ó ti wù kí ó rí, wọn kò kú.
12 And the sons of Symeon: —the family of the sons of Symeon: to Namuel, [belonged] the family of the Namuelites; to Jamin the family of the Jaminites; to Jachin the family of the Jachinites.
Àwọn ọmọ ìran Simeoni bí ìdílé wọn: ti Nemueli, ìdílé Nemueli; ti Jamini, ìdílé Jamini; ti Jakini, ìdílé Jakini;
13 To Zara the family of the Zaraites; to Saul the family of the Saulites.
ti Sera, ìdílé Sera; tí Saulu, ìdílé Saulu.
14 These [are] the families of Symeon according to their numbering, two and twenty thousand and two hundred.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Simeoni, ẹgbẹ̀rún méjìlélógún ó lé igba ọkùnrin.
15 And the sons of Juda, Er and Aunan; and Er and Aunan died in the land of Chanaan.
Àwọn ọmọ Gadi bí ìdílé wọn: ti Sefoni, ìdílé Sefoni; ti Haggi, ìdílé Haggi; ti Ṣuni, ìdílé Ṣuni;
16 And these were the sons of Juda, according to their families: to Selom [belonged] the family of the Selonites; to Phares, the family of the Pharesites; to Zara, the family of the Zaraites.

17 And the sons of Phares were, to Asron, the family of the Asronites; to Jamun, the family of the Jamunites.

18 These [are] the families of Juda according to their numbering, seventy-six thousand and five hundred.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Gadi tí iye wọn sì jẹ́ ọ̀kẹ́ méjì ó lé lẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀ta.
19 And the sons of Issachar according to their families: to Thola, the family of the Tholaites; to Phua, the family of the Phuaites.
Àwọn ọmọ Juda ni Eri àti Onani, ṣùgbọ́n Eri àti Onani kú ní ilẹ̀ Kenaani.
20 To Jasub, the family of the Jasubites; to Samram, the family of the Samramites.
Àti àwọn ọmọ Juda gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Ṣela, ìdílé Ṣela; ti Peresi, ìdílé Peresi; ti Sera, ìdílé Sera.
21 These [are] the families of Issachar according to their numbering, sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
Àwọn ọmọ Peresi: ti Hesroni, ìdílé Hesroni; ti Hamulu, ìdílé Hamulu.
22 The sons of Zabulon according to their families: to Sared, the family of the Saredites; to Allon, the family of the Allonites; to Allel, the family of the Allelites.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé Juda; gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn tí iye wọn sì jẹ́ ẹgbàá méjìdínlógójì ó lé lẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀ta.
23 These [are] the families of Zabulon according to their numbering, sixty thousand and five hundred.
Àwọn ọmọ Isakari gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Tola, ìdílé Tola; ti Pufa, ìdílé Pufa;
24 The sons of Gad according to their families: to Saphon, the family of the Saphonites; to Angi, the family of the Angites; to Suni, the family of the Sunites;
ti Jaṣubu, ìdílé Jaṣubu; ti Ṣimroni, ìdílé Ṣimroni.
25 to Azeni, the family of the Azenites; to Addi, the family of the Addites:
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé Isakari gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn tí iye wọn sì jẹ́ ẹgbàá méjìlélọ́gbọ̀n ó lé ọ̀ọ́dúnrún.
26 to Aroadi, the family of the Aroadites; to Ariel, the family of the Arielites.
Àwọn ọmọ Sebuluni gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Seredi, ìdílé Seredi; ti Eloni, ìdílé Eloni; ti Jaleeli, ìdílé Jaleeli.
27 These [are] the families of the children of Gad according to their numbering, forty-four thousand and five hundred.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Sebuluni gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn tí iye wọn sì jẹ́ ọ̀kẹ́ mẹ́ta ó lé lẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀ta.
28 The sons of Aser according to their families; to Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; to Jesu, the family of the Jesusites; to Baria, the family of the Bariaites.
Àwọn ọmọ Josẹfu gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn; Manase àti Efraimu.
29 To Chober, the family of the Choberites; to Melchiel, the family of the Melchielites.
Àwọn ọmọ Manase: ti Makiri, ìdílé Makiri (Makiri sì bí Gileadi); ti Gileadi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Gileadi.
30 And the name of the daughter of Aser, Sara.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Gileadi: ti Ieseri, ìdílé Ieseri; ti Heleki, ìdílé Heleki
31 These [are] the families of Aser according to their numbering, forty-three thousand and four hundred.
àti ti Asrieli, ìdílé Asrieli; àti ti Ṣekemu, ìdílé Ṣekemu;
32 The sons of Joseph according to their families, Manasse and Ephraim.
àti Ṣemida, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ṣemida; àti ti Heferi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Heferi.
33 The sons of Manasse. To Machir the family of the Machirites; and Machir begot Galaad: to Galaad, the family of the Galaadites.
(Selofehadi ọmọ Heferi kò sì ni ọmọkùnrin, bí kò ṣe ọmọbìnrin; orúkọ àwọn ọmọbìnrin ni Mahila, Noa, àti Hogla, Milka àti Tirsa).
34 And these [are] the sons of Galaad; to Achiezer, the family of the Achiezerites; to Cheleg, the family of the Chelegites.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé Manase tí iye wọn sì jẹ́ ẹgbàá mẹ́rìndínlọ́gbọ̀n ó lé lẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀rin.
35 To Esriel, the family of the Esrielites; to Sychem, the family of the Sychemites.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Efraimu gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: láti ọ̀dọ̀ Ṣutelahi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ṣutelahi; ti Bekeri, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Bekeri; ti Tahani, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Tahani.
36 To Symaer, the family of the Symaerites; and to Opher, the family of the Opherites.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Ṣutelahi: ti Erani, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Erani.
37 And to Salpaad the son of Opher there were no sons, but daughters: and these [were] the names of the daughters of Salpaad; Mala, and Nua, and Egla, and Melcha, and Thersa.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Efraimu, àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn sì jẹ́ ẹgbàá mẹ́rìndínlógún ó lé lẹ̀ẹ́dẹ́gbẹ̀ta. Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Josẹfu gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn.
38 These [are] the families of Manasse according to their numbering, fifty-two thousand and seven hundred.
Àwọn ọmọ Benjamini gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn nìyìí: tí Bela, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Bela; ti Aṣbeli, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Aṣbeli; ti Ahiramu, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ahiramu;
39 And these [are] the children of Ephraim; to Suthala, the family of the Suthalanites; to Tanach, the family of the Tanachites.
ti Ṣufamu, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ṣufamu; ti Hufamu, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Hufamu.
40 These [are] the sons of Suthala; to Eden, the family of the Edenites.
Àwọn ọmọ Bela ní ipasẹ̀ Ardi àti Naamani nìyìí: ti Ardi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ardi; ti Naamani, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Naamani.
41 These [are] the families of Ephraim according to their numbering, thirty-two thousand and five hundred: these [are] the families of the children of Joseph according to their families.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Benjamini; gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn; àti àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn jẹ́ ẹgbàá méjìlélógún ó lé ẹgbẹ̀jọ.
42 The sons of Benjamin according to their families; to Bale, the family of the Balites; to Asyber, the family of the Asyberites; to Jachiran, the family of the Jachiranites.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Dani gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Ṣuhamu, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ṣuhamu. Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé Dani gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn.
43 To Sophan, the family of the Sophanites.
Gbogbo ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ṣuhamu, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn jẹ́ ẹgbàá méjìlélọ́gbọ̀n ó lé irinwó.
44 And the sons of Bale were Adar and Noeman; to Adar, the family of the Adarites; and to Noeman, the family of the Noemanites.
Ti àwọn ọmọ Aṣeri gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Imina, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Imina; ti Iṣfi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Iṣfi; ti Beriah, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Berii.
45 These [are] the sons of Benjamin by their families according to their numbering, thirty-five thousand and five hundred.
Ti àwọn ọmọ Beriah: ti Heberi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Heberi; ti Malkieli, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Malkieli.
46 And the sons of Dan according to their families; to Same, the family of the Sameites; these [are] the families of Dan according to their families.
(Orúkọ ọmọ Aṣeri obìnrin nì jẹ́ Sera.)
47 All the families of Samei according to their numbering, sixty-four thousand and four hundred.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Aṣeri gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn jẹ́ ẹgbàá mẹ́rìndínlọ́gbọ̀n ó lé egbèje.
48 The sons of Nephthali according to their families; to Asiel, the family of the Asielites; to Gauni, the family of the Gaunites.
Ti àwọn ọmọ Naftali gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Jasieli, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Jaseeli: ti Guni, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Guni;
49 To Jeser, the family of the Jeserites; to Sellem, the family of the Sellemites.
ti Jeseri, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Jeṣeri; ti Ṣillemu, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Ṣillemu.
50 These [are] the families of Nephthali, according to their numbering, forty thousand and three hundred.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé ti Naftali gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn, àwọn tí a kà nínú wọn jẹ́ ẹgbàá méjìlélógún ó lé egbèje.
51 This [is] the numbering of the children of Israel, six hundred and one thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
Àpapọ̀ iye tí a kà nínú àwọn ọmọ Israẹli jẹ́ ọgbọ̀n ọ̀kẹ́ ó lé ẹgbẹ̀sán dín làádọ́rin.
52 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Olúwa sọ fún Mose pé,
53 To these the land shall be divided, so that they may inherit according to the number of the names.
“Ilẹ̀ náà gbọdọ̀ jẹ́ pínpín fún wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ogún wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí iye orúkọ wọn.
54 To the greater number you shall give the greater inheritance, and to the less number you shall give the less inheritance: to each one, as they have been numbered, shall their inheritance be given.
Fún àwọn ọ̀pọ̀ ni kí ìwọ ó fún ní ogún ìlú púpọ̀ àti fún àwọn tí ó kéré ni kí ìwọ ó fi kékeré fún, ẹnìkọ̀ọ̀kan gbọdọ̀ gba ogún ìbí tirẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ènìyàn tí a kọ.
55 The land shall be divided to the names by lot, they shall inherit according to the tribes of their families.
Rí dájú pé ilẹ̀ yìí gbọdọ̀ jẹ́ fífi ìbò pín gẹ́gẹ́ bí wọn sì ti pọ̀ tó. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí orúkọ ẹ̀yà àwọn baba wọn ni kí wọn kí ó ni í.
56 You shall divide their inheritance by lot between the many and the few.
Olúkúlùkù ogún ìní ni a gbọdọ̀ fi ìbò pín gẹ́gẹ́ bí wọ́n ti pọ̀ tó láàrín ńlá àti kékeré.”
57 And the sons of Levi according to their families; to Gedson, the family of the Gedsonites; to Caath, the family of the Caathites; to Merari, the family of the Merarites.
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Lefi tí a kà nínú wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìdílé wọn: ti Gerṣoni, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Gerṣoni; ti Kohati, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Kohati; ti Merari, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Merari.
58 These [are] the families of the sons of Levi; the family of the Lobenites, the family of the Chebronites, the family of the Coreites, and the family of the Musites; and Caath begot Amram.
Wọ̀nyí ni ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Lefi; ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Libni, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Hebroni, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Mahili, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Muṣi, ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Kora. (Kohati ni baba Amramu,
59 And the name of his wife [was] Jochabed, daughter of Levi, who bore these to Levi in Egypt, and she bore to Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Mariam their sister.
orúkọ aya Amramu sì ń jẹ́ Jokebedi, ọmọbìnrin Lefi, tí ìyá rẹ̀ bí fún Lefi ní Ejibiti. Òun sì bí Aaroni, Mose, àti Miriamu arábìnrin wọn fún Amramu.
60 And to Aaron were born both Nadab and Abiud, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Aaroni ni baba Nadabu àti Abihu, Eleasari àti Itamari.
61 And Nadab and Abiud died when they offered strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sina.
Ṣùgbọ́n Nadabu àti Abihu kú, nígbà tí wọ́n rú ẹbọ níwájú Olúwa nígbà tí wọ́n mú iná àjèjì wá.)
62 And there were according to their numbering, twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward; for they were not numbered amongst the children of Israel, because they have no inheritance in the midst of the children of Israel.
Gbogbo àwọn ọmọkùnrin Lefi láti oṣù kan àti ju bẹ́ẹ̀ lọ ẹgbẹ̀rún méjìlélógún ó lé lẹ́gbẹ̀rún. Wọn kò ka wọ́n mọ́ àwọn ọmọ Israẹli tókù nítorí tí wọ́n kò gba ogún ìní lára wọn.
63 And this [is] the numbering of Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in Araboth of Moab, at Jordan by Jericho.
Àwọn wọ̀nyí ni Mose àti Eleasari àlùfáà kà nígbà tí wọ́n ka àwọn ọmọ Israẹli ní pẹ̀tẹ́lẹ̀ Moabu lẹ́bàá odò Jordani létí Jeriko.
64 And amongst these there was not a man numbered by Moses and Aaron, whom, [even] the children of Israel, they numbered in the wilderness of Sinai.
Kò sí ẹnìkan nínú àwọn tí Mose àti Aaroni àlùfáà kà nígbà tí wọ́n ka àwọn ọmọ Israẹli ní aginjù Sinai.
65 For the Lord said to them, They shall surely die in the wilderness; and there was not left even one of them, except Chaleb the son of Jephonne, and Joshua the [son] of Naue.
Nítorí Olúwa ti sọ fún àwọn ọmọ Israẹli pé kíkú ni wọn yóò kú sí aginjù, kò sì sí ẹnìkankan nínú wọn tí kò kú àfi Kalebu ọmọ Jefunne, àti Joṣua ọmọ Nuni.
