Nehemiah 3
1 Then Eliasub the high priest, and his brethren the priests, rose up, and built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even to the tower of the hundred they sanctified [it], to the tower of Anameel.

2 And [they builded] by the side of the men of Jericho, and by the side of the sons of Zacchur, the son of Amari.
Anthu a ku Yeriko anamanga chigawo china pambali pake ndipo Zakuri mwana wa Imuri anamanga chigawo chinanso choyandikana nawo.
3 And the sons of Asana built the fish-gate; they roofed it, and covered in its doors, and bolts, and bars.
Chipata cha Nsomba chinamangidwanso ndi ana a fuko la Hasena. Iwo anayika mitanda yake ndi zitseko, zotsekera zake, ndi mipiringidzo yake.
4 And next to them [the order] reached to Ramoth the son of Uria, the son of Accos, and next to them Mosollam son of Barachias the son of Mazebel took [his] place: and next to them Sadoc the son of Baana took [his] place.
Meremoti mwana wa Uriya, mwana wa Hakozi, anakonza chigawo choyandikana nacho. Motsatana naye, Mesulamu mwana wa Berekiya, mwana wa Mesezabeli anakonza chigawo china. Pambali pake, Zadoki mwana wa Baana anakonzanso chigawo china.
5 And next to them the Thecoim took [their] place; but the Adorim applied not their neck to their service.
Pambali pa iwowa anthu a ku Tekowa anakonza chigawo china. Koma wolemekezeka awo anakana kugwira ntchito imene akuluakulu awo anawapatsa.
6 And Joida the son of Phasec, and Mesulam son of Basodia, repaired the old gate; they covered it in, and set up its doors, and its bolts, and its bars.
Chipata cha Yesana chinakonzedwa ndi Yoyada mwana wa Paseya ndi Mesulamu mwana wa Besodeya. Iwo anayika mitanda yake ndi kuyika zitseko, zotsekera zake ndi mipiringidzo yake.
7 And next to them repaired Maltias the Gabaonite, and Evaron the Meronothite, the men of Gabaon and Maspha, to the throne of the governor on this side the river.
Pambali pawo Melatiya Mgibeyoni ndi Yadoni Mmerenoti ndiponso anthu a ku Gibiyoni ndi a ku Mizipa anakonza chigawo chawo mpaka ku nyumba ya bwanamkubwa wa chigawo cha Patsidya pa Yufurate.
8 And next to him Oziel the son of Arachias of the smiths, carried on the repairs: and next to them Ananias the son of one of the apothecaries repaired, and they finished Jerusalem to the broad wall.

9 And next to them repaired Raphaea the son of Sur, the ruler of half the district round about Jerusalem.
Refaya mwana wa Huri wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Yerusalemu anakonza chigawo china motsatana nawo.
10 And next to them repaired Jedaia the son of Eromaph, and [that] in front of his house: and next to him repaired Attuth son of Asabania.
Kulumikiza ichi, Yedaya mwana wa Harumafi anakonza chigawo choyangʼanana ndi nyumba yake, ndipo Hatusi mwana wa Hasabaneya anakonzanso motsatana naye.
11 And next [to him] repaired Melchias son of Heram, and Asub son of Phaat Moab, even to the tower of the furnaces.
Malikiya mwana wa Harimu ndi Hasubu mwana wa Pahati-Mowabu anakonzanso chigawo china ndiponso Nsanja ya Ngʼanjo.
12 And next to him repaired Sallum the son of Alloes, the ruler of half the district round about Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
Salumu mwana wa Halohesi wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Yerusalemu, anakonzanso chigawo chotsatana nawo mothandizidwa ndi ana ake akazi.
13 Anun and the inhabitants of Zano repaired the gate of the valley: they built it, and set up its doors, and its bolts, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
Chipata cha ku chigwa chinakonzedwa ndi Hanuni ndi anthu okhala ku Zanowa. Iwo anachimanganso ndi kuyika zitseko zake ndi zotsekera ndi mipiringidzo yake. Iwo anakonzanso khoma lotalika mamita 450 mpaka ku Chipata cha Zinyalala.
14 And Melchia the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district round about Beth-accharim, repaired the dung-gate, he and his sons; and they covered it, and set up its doors, and its bolts, and its bars.
Chipata cha Zinyalala chinakonzedwa ndi Malikiya mwana wa Rekabu, wolamulira chigawo cha Beti-Hakeremu. Iye anachimanganso ndi kuyika zitseko zake, zotsekera zake ndi mipiringidzo.
15 But Solomon the son of Choleze repaired the gate of the fountain, the ruler of part of Maspha; he built it, and covered it, and set up its doors and its bars, and the wall of the pool of the skins by the meadow of the king, and as far as the steps that lead down from the city of David.
Chipata cha Kasupe chinakonzedwa ndi Saluni mwana wa Koli-Hoze, wolamulira chigawo cha Mizipa. Iye anachimanganso ndi kuyikanso denga ndiponso zitseko, zotsekera ndi mipiringidzo yake. Iye anakonzanso khoma la Dziwe la Siloamu limene lili pafupi ndi munda wa mfumu mpaka ku makwerero otsikira potuluka mzinda wa Davide.
16 After him repaired Neemias son of Azabuch, ruler of half the district round about Bethsur, as far as the garden of David's sepulchre, and as far as the artificial pool, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
Pambali pa iyeyo, Nehemiya mwana wa Azibuki, wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Beti Zuri anakonza chigawo china mpaka kumalo oyangʼanana ndi manda a Davide, mpaka ku dziwe lokumba ndi ku nyumba ya anthu ankhondo.
17 After him repaired the Levites, [even] Raum the son of Bani: next to him repaired Asabia, ruler of half the district round about Keila, in his district.
Pambali pake Alevi anakonza chigawo china, ndipo mtsogoleri wawo anali Rehumi mwana wa Bani. Pambali pa iye Hasabiya wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Keyila anagwira ntchito ku chigawo chake.
18 And after him repaired his brethren, Benei son of Enadad, ruler of half the district round about Keila.
Pambuyo pa iyeyu abale awo anapitiriza kukonza, ndipo mtsogoleri wawo anali Bawai mwana wa Henadadi, wolamulira theka lina la chigawo cha Keyila.
19 And next to him repaired Azur the son of Joshua, ruler of Masphai, another portion of the tower of ascent, where it meets the corner.
Motsatana naye Ezeri mwana wa Yesuwa, wolamulira Mizipa anakonza chigawo chinanso choyangʼanana ndi chikweza chofikira ku nyumba yosungira zida za nkhondo pa ngodya.
20 After him repaired Baruch the son of Zabu, a second portion, from the corner as far as the door of the house of Eliasub the high priest.
Motsatana naye, Baruki mwana wa Zakai anakonzanso chigawo china kuchokera pa ngodya mpaka pa chitseko cha nyumba ya Eliyasibu mkulu wa ansembe.
21 After him repaired Meramoth the son of Uria the son of Accos, a second part from the door of the house of Eliasub, to the end of the house of Eliasub.
Motsatana naye, Meremoti mwana wa Uriya, mwana wa Hakozi anakonzanso chigawo china kuchokera ku chitseko cha nyumba ya Eliyasibu mpaka kumapeto kwake.
22 And after him repaired the priests, the men of Ecchechar.
Pambuyo pake ansembe okhala ku chidikha anakonzanso chigawo china.
23 And after him repaired Benjamin and Asub over against their house: and after him repaired Azarias son of Maasias the son of Ananias, [the parts] near to his house.
Pambuyo pawo, Benjamini ndi Hasubu anakonza kutsogolo kwa nyumba zawo. Ndipo motsatana nawo, Azariya mwana wa Maaseya mwana wa Ananiya, anakonza chigawo choyangʼanana ndi nyumba zawo.
24 After him repaired Bani the son of Adad, another portion from the house of Azaria as far as the corner and to the turning,
Motsatana naye, Binuyi mwana wa Henadadi anakonzanso chigawo china, kuchokera pa nyumba ya Azariya kukafika potsirizira pa ngodya.
25 of Phalach the son of Uzai, opposite the corner, and [where is] also the tower that projects from the king's house, even the upper one of the prison-house: and after him [repaired] Phadaea the son of Phoros.
Palali mwana Uzai anakonza chigawo china choyangʼanana ndi ngodya ndi nsanja yotuluka pa nyumba yapamwamba ya mfumu ku bwalo la alonda. Motsatana naye, Pedaya mwana wa Parosi,
26 And the Nathinim lived in Ophal, as far as the garden of the water-gate eastward, and [there is] the projecting tower.
ndi otumikira mʼNyumba ya Mulungu amene amakhala pa khoma la Ofeli anakonza chigawo china mpaka pa malo oyangʼanana ndi Chipata cha Madzi kuloza kummawa ndiponso nsanja yayitali ija.
27 And after them the Thecoim repaired, another portion opposite the great projecting tower, even as far as the wall of Ophla.
Motsatana nawo, anthu a ku Tekowa anakonzanso chigawo china choyangʼanana ndi nsanja ija yayikulu ndi yayitali mpaka ku khoma la Ofeli.
28 The priests repaired above the horse-gate, [every] man over against his own house.
Kuyambira ku Chipata cha Akavalo anakonza ndi ansembe ena ndipo aliyense amakonza khoma loyangʼanana ndi nyumba yake.
29 And after him Sadduc the son of Emmer repaired opposite his own house: and after him repaired Samaea son of Sechenia, guard of the east-gate.
Motsatana nawo, Zadoki mwana wa Imeri anakonza chigawo china choyangʼanana ndi nyumba yake. Motsatana naye, Semeya mwana wa Sekaniya, mlonda wa Chipata cha Kummawa, anakonzanso khoma.
30 After him repaired Anania son of Selemia, and Anom, the sixth son of Seleph, another portion: after him Mesulam the son of Barachia repaired over against his treasury.
Hananiya mwana wa Selemiya ndiponso Hanuni mwana wachisanu ndi chimodzi wa Zalafi anakonza chigawo china. Motsatana naye, Mesulamu mwana wa Berekiya anakonza chigawo choyangʼanana ndi chipinda chake.
31 After him repaired Melchia the son of Sarephi as far as the house of the Nathinim, and the chapmen over against the gate of Maphecad, and as far as the steps of the corner.
Motsatana naye, Malikiya mmodzi mwa amisiri a golide anakonza chigawo china mpaka ku nyumba ya atumiki a ku Nyumba ya Mulungu ndiponso ku nyumba ya anthu amalonda moyangʼanana ndi chipata cha Mifikade ndiponso mpaka pa chipinda chapamwamba chapangodya.
32 And between [that and] the sheep-gate the smiths and chapmen repaired.
Ndipo pakati pa chipinda chapamwamba chapangodya ndi Chipata cha Nkhosa anakonza ndi amisiri a golide ndi anthu amalonda.
