< Naum 1 >
1 The burden of Nineve: the book of the vision of Naum the Elkesite.
Lisakoli na tina na engumba Ninive. Buku ya emoniseli ya Naumi, moto ya engumba Elikoshi.
2 God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; the Lord avenges with wrath; the Lord takes vengeance on his adversaries, and he cuts off his enemies.
Yawe azali Nzambe oyo atonda na zuwa, oyo azongisaka mabe na mabe. Yawe azongisaka mabe na mabe mpe atombokaka makasi. Yawe azongisaka mabe na mabe epai ya banguna na Ye, akangelaka bayini na Ye kanda makasi.
3 The Lord is longsuffering, and his power is great, and the Lord will not hold any guiltless: his way is in destruction and in the whirlwind, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
Yawe asilikaka noki te, mpe nguya na Ye ezali monene. Yawe atikaka te moto oyo asali mabe lokola nde asali na ye mabe te, kasi apesaka etumbu na moto oyo asali mabe. Yawe apasolaka nzela na Ye kati na ekumbaki, kati na mopepe makasi.
4 He threatens the sea, and dries it up, and exhausts all the rivers: the land of Basan, and Carmel are brought low, and the flourishing [trees] of Libanus have come to nothing.
Agangelaka ebale monene mpe akawusaka yango, akawusaka bibale nyonso. Etuka ya Bashani mpe ya Karimeli esili nyonso kokawuka, mpe matiti nyonso ya Libani esili kokawuka.
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills are shaken, and the earth recoils at his presence, [even] the world, and all that dwell in it.
Bangomba milayi eninganaka liboso na Ye, mpe bangomba mikuse epanzanaka. Mabele, mokili mpe bavandi na yango balengaka liboso na Ye.
6 Who shall stand before his anger? and who shall withstand in the anger of his wrath? his wrath brings to nothing kingdoms, and the rocks are burst asunder by him.
Nani akoki solo kotelema liboso na Ye soki asiliki? Nani akoki solo kobika soki kanda na Ye epeli? Mpo ete kanda na Ye epanzanaka lokola moto, bongo mabanga ebukanaka liboso na Ye.
7 The Lord is good to them that wait on him in the day of affliction; and he knows them that reverence him.
Yawe azali malamu, azali ebombamelo ya solo na tango ya pasi mpe abatelaka bato nyonso oyo batiaka elikya na Ye.
8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end: darkness shall pursue those that rise up against [him] and his enemies.
Akobebisa engumba na Ye nyonso na mpela mpe akobengana banguna na Ye kino kati na molili.
9 What do you devise against the Lord? he will make a complete end: he will not take vengeance by affliction twice at the same time.
Likita ya ndenge nini bakoki kosalela Yawe? Azali Ye oyo asilisaka makambo nyonso; pasi ekoya lisusu te.
10 For [the enemy] shall be laid bare even to the foundation, and shall be devoured as twisted yew, and as stubble fully dry.
Bakokoma lokola bato oyo bazali kati na banzube, lokola bato oyo balangwe masanga ya vino; bakozikisama nye lokola matiti ya kokawuka.
11 Out of you shall proceed a device against the Lord, counselling evil things hostile [to him].
Ezali kati na yo Ninive nde moto oyo azali na mabongisi mabe mpo na kotelemela Yawe mpe azali na batoli ya mabe abimi.
12 Thus says the Lord who rules over many waters, Even thus shall they be sent away, and the report of you shall not be heard any more.
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Ata banguna na bino bazali ebele mpe makasi, bakosila kokufa mpe kolimwa. Oh mokili ya Yuda, soki nasambwisaki yo, nakosala yango lisusu te.
13 And now will I break his rod from off you, and will burst [your] bonds.
Nakobuka ekangiseli na bango, oyo ezali na kingo na yo mpe nakolongola yo na minyololo. »
14 And the Lord shall give a command concerning you; there shall no more of your name be scattered: I will utterly destroy the graven [images] out of the house of your god, and the molten [images]: I will make your grave; for [they are] swift.
Kasi Yawe azwi mokano oyo mpo na yo: « Okotikala kozwa lisusu bakitani te oyo bakobatela kombo na yo na bokonzi. Nakolongola kati na tempelo na yo banzambe na yo ya bikeko mpe bikeko nyonso oyo basala na bibende balekisa na moto. Nazali kobongisela yo kunda, pamba te ozali na yo pamba. »
15 Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that brings glad tidings, and publishes peace! O Juda, keep your feasts, pay your vows: for they shall no more pass through you to [your] decay.
Botala kuna na bangomba makolo ya momemi sango malamu: amemi sango ya kimia! Oh mokili ya Yuda, sepela na bafeti na yo mpe kokisa ndayi na yo; pamba te wuta sik’oyo, moto mabe moko te akokota lisusu epai na yo; pamba te bango nyonso bakobebisama nye.
