Michaeas 3

1 And he shall say, Hear now these words, you heads of the house of Jacob, and you remnant of the house of Israel; is it not for you to know judgement?

Zato rekoh: èujte, poglavice Jakovljeve i knezovi doma Izrailjeva, ne treba li vam znati šta je pravo?

2 [who] hate good, and seek evil; [who] tear their skins off them, and their flesh off their bones:

Koji mrzite na dobro a ljubite zlo, sadirete kožu s njih i meso s kosti njihovijeh;

3 even as they devoured the flesh of my people, and stripped their skins off them, and broke their bones, and divided [them] as flesh for the cauldron, and as meat for the pot,

I jedete meso naroda mojega i sadirete kožu s njih i kosti im prebijate, i sasijecate kao u lonac i kao meso u kotao.

4 thus they shall cry to the Lord, but he shall not listen to them; and he shall turn away his face from them at that time, because they have done wickedly in their practices against themselves.

Tada æe vikati ka Gospodu, ali ih neæe uslišiti, nego æe sakriti lice svoje od njih u ono vrijeme, kako oni zlo radiše.

5 Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bit with their teeth, and proclaim peace to them; and [when] nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them:

Ovako veli Gospod za proroke koji zavode moj narod, koji grizu zubima svojim i vièu: mir; i ako im ko ne da ništa u usta, dižu rat na nj.

6 therefore there shall be night to you instead of a vision, and there shall be to you darkness instead of prophecy; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be dark upon them.

Zato æe vam utvara biti noæ i proricanje vaše tama; i sunce æe zaæi tijem prorocima i dan æe im se smraèiti.

7 And the seers of night-visions shall be ashamed, and the prophets shall be laughed to scorn: and all the people shall speak against them, because there shall be none to listen to them.

Tada æe se postidjeti vidioci, i vraèari æe se posramiti, i svi æe zastrijeti usne svoje, jer neæe biti odgovora Božijega.

8 Surely I will strengthen myself with the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgement, and of power, to declare to Jacob his transgressions, and to Israel his sins.

Ali ja sam pun sile od duha Gospodnjega, i suda i hrabrosti da kažem Jakovu zloèinstvo njegovo i Izrailju grijeh njegov.

9 Hear now these words, you chiefs of the house of Jacob, and the remnant of the house of Israel, who hate judgement, and pervert all righteousness;

Èujte ovo, poglavice doma Jakovljeva i knezovi doma Izrailjeva, koji se gadite na pravdu, i sve što je pravo izvræete;

10 who build up Sion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

Koji gradite Sion krvlju i Jerusalim bezakonjem.

11 The heads thereof have judged for gifts, and the priests thereof have answered for hire, and her prophets have divined for silver: and [yet] they have rested on the Lord, saying, Is not the Lord amongst us? no evil shall come upon us.

Poglavari njegovi sude po mitu, i sveštenici njegovi uèe za platu, i proroci njegovi gataju za novce, a na Gospoda se oslanjaju govoreæi: nije li Gospod usred nas? neæe doæi zlo na nas.

12 Therefore on your account Sion shall be ploughed as a field, and Jerusalem shall be as a storehouse of fruits, and the mountain of the house as a grove of the forest.

Zato æe se s vas Sion preorati kao njiva, i Jerusalim æe postati gomila, i gora od doma visoka šuma.
