< Michaeas 3 >
1 And he shall say, Hear now these words, you heads of the house of Jacob, and you remnant of the house of Israel; is it not for you to know judgement?
Jakob boeilu rhoek neh Israel imkhui kah rhalboei rhoek oh hnatun uh laeh ka ti. Tiktamnah ming ham te nangmih ham moenih a?
2 [who] hate good, and seek evil; [who] tear their skins off them, and their flesh off their bones:
A then aka hmuhuet tih boethae, boethae aka lungnah rhoek, amih pum dongkah a vin neh a rhuh dong lamkah a saa aka rheth rhoek.
3 even as they devoured the flesh of my people, and stripped their skins off them, and broke their bones, and divided [them] as flesh for the cauldron, and as meat for the pot,
Ka pilnam saa te a caak uh tih amih pum kah a vin te a khong pauh. Te phoeiah a rhuh te a pop sak tih am dongkah bangla a rha uh. Ampaih khui kah maeh bangla a khuehuh.
4 thus they shall cry to the Lord, but he shall not listen to them; and he shall turn away his face from them at that time, because they have done wickedly in their practices against themselves.
BOEIPA taengla pang uh mai cakhaw amih te doo mahpawh. Amih khoboe te a thae van dongah te vaeng hnin ah tah amih taeng lamloh a maelhmai a thuh ni.
5 Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bit with their teeth, and proclaim peace to them; and [when] nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them:
Ka pilnam kho aka hmang sak tonghma rhoek ham BOEIPA loh he ni a thui. A no a maeng uh tih rhoepnah a doek uh. Tedae a ka te a khuem uh mai pawt dongah a taengah caemtloek hoep uh coeng.
6 therefore there shall be night to you instead of a vision, and there shall be to you darkness instead of prophecy; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be dark upon them.
Te dongah mangthui lamkah he nang taengah khoyin tih hlang bi lamkah khaw nang taengah tah hmuep coeng. Tonghma rhoek ham tah khomik te tla vetih amih ham tah khothaih khaw hmuep ni.
7 And the seers of night-visions shall be ashamed, and the prophets shall be laughed to scorn: and all the people shall speak against them, because there shall be none to listen to them.
Khohmu rhoek te yak uh vetih hlang bi rhoek khaw ngam uh ni. Pathen kah hlatnah a om pawt dongah amih boeih te a hmui a buem uh ni.
8 Surely I will strengthen myself with the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgement, and of power, to declare to Jacob his transgressions, and to Israel his sins.
Tedae kai tah Jakob kah a boekoeknah neh Israel taengah a tholhnah phoe pah hamla, thadueng neh, BOEIPA kah mueihla neh, tiktamnah neh, thayung thamal neh ka baetawt coeng.
9 Hear now these words, you chiefs of the house of Jacob, and the remnant of the house of Israel, who hate judgement, and pervert all righteousness;
Jakob imkhui kah boeilu neh Israel imkhui kah rhalboei rhoek, tiktamnah aka tuei tih a thuem boeih te aka kawn sak rhoek loh hnatun uh laeh he.
10 who build up Sion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
Zion te thii neh, Jerusalem te dumlai neh a sak uh.
11 The heads thereof have judged for gifts, and the priests thereof have answered for hire, and her prophets have divined for silver: and [yet] they have rested on the Lord, saying, Is not the Lord amongst us? no evil shall come upon us.
A boeilu rhoek loh kapbaih hamla lai a tloek uh tih a khosoih rhoek loh a phu la a thuinuet uh. A tonghma rhoek khaw tangka hamla hma uh. Tedae, “Kaimih lakli ah BOEIPA om pawt tih kaimih soah yoethaenah pai mahpawh nama?” aka ti ham ni BOEIPA dongah a hangdang uh.
12 Therefore on your account Sion shall be ploughed as a field, and Jerusalem shall be as a storehouse of fruits, and the mountain of the house as a grove of the forest.
Zion nang kong ah khohmuen a yoe uh vetih Jerusalem khaw lairhok la poeh ni. Tlang im te khaw hmuensang duup la poeh ni.
