< Leviticus 26 >
1 I [am] the Lord your God: you shall not make to yourselves gods made with hands, or graven; neither shall you rear up a pillar for yourselves, neither shall you set up a stone [for] an object in your land to worship it: I am the Lord your God.
“‘Monnyɛ abosom. Monnsisi ahoni anaa aboɔ mma mo ho. Mommfa aboɔ a wɔatwa nsisi mo asase so sɛ morebɛkoto wɔn. Mene Awurade mo Onyankopɔn.
2 You shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord.
“‘Ɛsɛ sɛ modi me Homeda, na mode anidie ma me kronkronbea. Mene Awurade.
3 If you will walk in my ordinances, and keep my commandments, and do them,
“‘Sɛ modi me mmara no nyinaa so a,
4 then will I give you the rain in its season, and the land shall produce its fruits, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
daa mɛtɔ osuo ama mo ama mo nnɔbaeɛ ayɛ yie abu so, na mo nnua nso bɛso aba a ɛbɛkyɛre wɔ nnua no so.
5 And your threshing time shall overtake the vintage, and your vintage shall overtake your seed time; and you shall eat your bread to the full; and you shall dwell safely upon your land, and war shall not go through your land.
Na sɛ ɛduru odua berɛ so bio koraa a, mo borɔdɔma bɛkɔ so abere. Mobɛdidi amee na moatena asase no so asomdwoeɛ mu,
6 And I will give peace in your land, and you shall sleep, and none [shall] make you afraid; and I will destroy the evil beasts out of your land,
“‘Ɛfiri sɛ, mɛma mo asomdwoeɛ, na mɛma mo ada a monnsuro hwee. Mɛpam mmoa bɔne afiri mo ho.
7 and you shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you with slaughter.
Mobɛpam mo atamfoɔ; na wɔbɛwuwu wɔ mo asekan ano.
8 And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase tens of thousands; and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
Mo mu baanum bɛka ɔha agu, na mo mu ɔha aka ɔpedu agu! Mo atamfoɔ bɛtotɔ wɔ akofena ano wɔ mo anim.
9 And I will look upon you, and increase you, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
“‘Mɛhwɛ mo so na mama mo adɔre, na madi apam a me ne mo pameeɛ no so.
10 And you shall eat that which is old and very old, and bring forth the old to make way for the new.
Mo nnɔbaeɛ bɛbu so a sɛ otwa berɛ foforɔ duru so a, morenhunu deɛ mode bɛyɛ.
11 And I will set my tabernacle amongst you, and my soul shall not abhor you;
Na mɛtena mo mu, na meremmu mo animtiaa.
12 and I will walk amongst you, and be your God, and you shall be my people.
Me ne mo bɛnante, na mayɛ mo Onyankopɔn, na moayɛ me nkurɔfoɔ.
13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, where you were slaves; and I broke the band of your yoke, and brought you forth openly.
Mene Awurade mo Onyankopɔn a ɔde mo firi Misraim asase so baeɛ sɛ ɔmpɛ sɛ moyɛ nkoa bio no. Mabubu mo nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn mu, na mɛma mo anante animuonyam so.
14 But if you will not listen to me, nor obey these my ordinances,
“‘Na sɛ moantie me, anni mʼasɛm so,
15 but disobey them, and your soul should loathe my judgements, so that you should not keep all my commands, so as to break my covenant,
na mopo me mmara a,
16 then will I do thus to you: I will even bring upon you perplexity and the itch, and the fever that causes your eyes to waste away, and [disease] that consumes your life; and you shall sow your seeds in vain, and your enemies shall eat them.
deɛ mɛyɛ mo nie: Mɛma mo akoma atutu na mama nsamanwa ayɛ mo, na atiridiinini abɔ mo. Mo ani bɛtutu, na mo nkwa so ahwan. Mobɛdua nnɔbaeɛ agu kwa, ɛfiri sɛ, mo atamfoɔ na wɔbɛdie.
17 And I will set my face against you, and you shall fall before your enemies, and they that hate you shall pursue you; and you shall flee, no one pursuing you.
Mɛyi mʼani afiri mo so, na moadwane afiri mo atamfoɔ anim. Wɔn a wɔtan mo bɛdi mo so. Mobɛdwane ɛberɛ a obiara mpam mo.
18 And if you still refuse to listen to me, then will I chasten you yet more even seven times for your sins.
“‘Na sɛ mokɔ so yɛ asoɔden a, mɛtwe mo aso mmɔho nson a emu yɛ den wɔ mo bɔne no ho.
19 And I will break down the haughtiness of your pride; and I will make your heaven iron, and your earth as it were brass.
Mɛsɛe mo ahantan tumi no na mayɛ mo soro sɛ dadeɛ ne mo fam sɛ kɔbere.
20 And your strength shall be in vain; and your land shall not yield its seed, and the tree of your field shall not yield its fruit.
Mobɛsɛe mo ahoɔden kwa, na mo asase nnya nnɔbaeɛ biara, na ɛso nnua nso renso aba.
21 And if after this you should walk perversely, and not be willing to obey me, I will further bring upon you seven plagues according to your sins.
“‘Na sɛ tie ara na monntie me a, mo bɔne enti, mede ɔyaredɔm mmɔho nson bɛgu mo so.
22 And I will send upon you the wild beasts of the land, and they shall devour you, and shall consume your cattle: and I will make you few in number, and your ways shall be desolate.
Mɛma nkekaboa abɛkunkum mo mma na wɔakunkum mo anantwie, na mate mo dodoɔ so, na mo akwan bɛda mpan a obi mfa so bio.
23 And if hereupon you are not corrected, but walk perversely towards me,
“‘Na sɛ yei antumi ansesa mo, na mokɔ so tia mʼapɛdeɛ a,
24 I also will walk with you with a perverse spirit, and I also will strike you seven times for your sins.
me nso, mɛtia mo apɛdeɛ, na me ara mʼankasa mɛtwe mo aso mprɛnson wɔ mo bɔne ho.
25 And I will bring upon you a sword avenging the cause of [my] covenant, and you shall flee for refuge to your cities; and I will send out death against you, and you shall be delivered into the hands of your enemies.
Menam ɔko so bɛbu mʼapam so ako atia mo de atua mo so ka. Mobɛdwane akɔ mo nkuro mu, na mede nyarewa bɛtoa mo wɔ hɔ. Na mo atamfoɔ bɛdi mo so.
26 When I afflict you with famine of bread, then ten women shall bake your loaves in one oven, and they shall render your loaves by weight; and you shall eat, and not be satisfied.
Mɛsɛe mo nnuane a mobɛnya nyinaa kɔsi sɛ mpo, fononoo baako burodo a ɛbɛto no na mmusuakuo edu bɛdi. Aduane kakra a mobɛdi no akyi, ɛkɔm bɛde mo.
27 And if hereupon you will not obey me, but walk perversely towards me,
“‘Na sɛ mokɔ so yɛ asoɔden a,
28 then will I walk with you with a froward mind, and I will chasten you sevenfold according to your sins.
mo bɔne enti, me bo bɛfu mo na matwe mo aso a emu yɛ den mmɔho nson.
29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat.
Mobɛwe mo mmammarima ne mo mmammaa ɛnam.
30 And I will render your pillars desolate, and will utterly destroy your wooden [images] made with hands; and I will lay your carcases on the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall loathe you.
Mɛsɛe mo sorɔnsorɔmmea. Mɛtwitwa mo aduhwam afɔrebukyia agu, na mahyehyɛ mo afunu wɔ mo ahoni a ɛnni nkwa no so; na mɛpo mo.
31 And I will lay your cities waste, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and I will not smell the savour of your sacrifices.
Mɛma mo nkuro ayɛ amamfo na masɛe baabi a mosom nyinaa, na mapo mo ohwam afɔrebɔ no.
32 And I will lay your land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall wonder at it.
Ampa ara, mɛma mo asase so ada mpan na mo atamfoɔ atena so, na deɛ mɛyɛ mo no ayɛ mo nwanwa.
33 And I will scatter you amongst the nations, and the sword shall come upon you and consume you; and your land shall be desolate, and your cities shall be desolate.
Mɛbɔ mo apete aman no a morekɔ so nyinaa, na mede ɔko asɛe mo. Mo asase bɛda mpan na wɔasɛe mo nkuro.
34 Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation.
Akyire no, asase no bɛda hɔ ahome de asi mfeɛ dodoɔ a moamma anhome no anan; ɛbɛda hɔ wɔ mmerɛ a mowɔ atamfoɔ nsam wɔ wɔn nsase so no nyinaa. Na asase no ahome, na anya ne home nna nso.
35 And you shall be in the land of your enemies; then the land shall keep its sabbaths, and the land shall enjoy its sabbaths all the days of its desolation: it shall keep sabbaths which it kept not amongst your sabbaths, when you lived in it.
Ɛberɛ a asase no da mpan nyinaa, ɛbɛnya home a moamma annya wɔ Homeda dodoɔ a motenaa soɔ no.
36 And to those who are left of you I will bring bondage into their heart in the land of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from war, and shall fall when none pursues them.
“‘Wɔn a wɔgyaa wɔn hɔ a wɔnwuiɛ no nso, mɛma wɔatwe wɔn akɔ akyirikyiri nsase so sɛ ɔko mu nneduafoɔ ne nkoa. Ɛhɔ na wɔbɛtena daa wɔ ehu mu. Wɔte sɛ mframa rebɔ ahahan koraa a, wɔbɛdwane te sɛ deɛ obi a ɔkura akofena repam wɔn; wɔbɛhwehwe ase wɔ ɛberɛ a obi mpam wɔn.
37 And brother shall disregard brother as in war, when none pursues; and you shall not be able to withstand your enemies.
Obiara rempamo wɔn nanso ehu enti, wɔbɛsuntisunti wɔn ho wɔn ho te sɛ deɛ wɔredwane afiri akono a wɔnni tumi biara a wɔde bɛgyina wɔn atamfoɔ anim no.
38 And you shall perish amongst the Gentiles, and the land of your enemies shall devour you.
Mobɛyera wɔ aman mu, na mo atamfoɔ asɛe mo.
39 And those who are left of you shall perish, because of their sins, and because of the sins of their fathers: in the land of their enemies shall they consume away.
Wɔn a wɔbɛka no, wɔn bɔne enti, wɔn ho bɛyera wɔn wɔ atamfoɔ nsase so, bɔne a wɔn agyanom yɛeɛ no enti.
40 And they shall confess their sins, and the sins of their fathers, that they have transgressed and neglected me, and that they have walked perversely before me,
“‘Nanso akyire no, me nkurɔfoɔ bɛka wɔn bɔne ne wɔn agyanom bɔne. Wɔbɛka sɛdeɛ wɔdii me hwammɔ na wɔtiaa me no.
41 and I walked with them with a perverse mind; and I will destroy them in the land of their enemies: then shall their uncircumcised heart be ashamed, and then shall they acquiesce in [the punishment of] their sins.
Sɛ me nso metia wɔn te sɛ deɛ ɛsɛ na mede wɔn kɔ wɔn atamfoɔ asase so a, afei, wɔn akomaden no ano bɛbrɛ ase, na wɔbɛtua wɔn bɔne so ka.
42 And I will remember the covenant of Jacob, and the covenant of Isaac, and the covenant of Abraam will I remember.
Afei, mɛkae apam a me ne Yakob, Isak ne Abraham ayɛ, na mɛkae asase no.
43 And I will remember the land, and the land shall be left of them; then the land shall enjoy her sabbaths, when it is deserted through them: and they shall accept [the punishment of] their iniquities, because they neglected my judgements, and in their soul loathed my ordinances.

44 And yet not even thus, while they were in the land of their enemies, did I overlook them, nor did I loathe them so as to consume them, to break my covenant made with them; for I am the Lord their God.
Na deɛ wɔyɛɛ no nyinaa akyi no, merensɛe wɔne mʼapam no korakora, ɛfiri sɛ, mene Awurade wɔn Onyankopɔn.
45 And I will remember their former covenant, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage before the nation, to be their God; I am the Lord.
Mɛkae tete apam a me ne wɔn agyanom a meyii wɔn firii Misraim, ɛberɛ a amanaman nyinaa rehwɛ no, yɛeɛ no. Me Awurade ne wɔn Onyankopɔn.’”
46 These are my judgements and my ordinances, and the law which the Lord gave between himself and the children of Israel, in the mount Sina, by the hand of Moses.
