< Leviticus 19 >

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
2 Speak to the congregation of the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, You shall be holy; for I the Lord your God [am] holy.
Mitenena amin’ ny fiangonana, dia ny Zanak’ Isiraely rehetra, hoe: Aoka ho masìna ianareo, satria masìna Aho, Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
3 Let every one of you reverence his father and his mother; and you shall keep my sabbaths: I [am] the Lord your God.
Samia matahotra ny reninareo sy ny rainareo, ary tandremo ny Sabatako: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
4 You shall not follow idols, and you shall not make to yourselves molten gods: I [am] the Lord your God.
Aza mivily hanaraka ny andriamani-tsi-izy, ary aza manao andriamanitra an-idina ho anareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
5 And if you will sacrifice a peace-offering to the Lord, you shall offer it acceptable from yourselves.
Ary raha mamono zavatra hatao fanati-pihavanana ho an’ i Jehovah ianareo, dia ataovy amin’ izay hankasitrahana anareo izany.
6 In what day soever you shall sacrifice it, it shall be eaten; and on the following day, and if any of it should be left till the third day, it shall be thoroughly burnt with fire.
Amin’ izay andro amonoanareo zavatra hatao fanatitra sy amin’ ny ampitson’ ny no hihinananareo azy; fa raha mbola misy sisa tratry ny andro fahatelo, dia hodorana amin’ ny afo izany.
7 And if it should be at all eaten on the third day, it is unfit for sacrifice: it shall not be accepted.
Ary raha hanina amin’ ny andro fahatelo izany, dia ho fahavetavetana ka tsy hankasitrahana;
8 And he that eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy things of the Lord; and the souls that eat it shall be destroyed from amongst their people.
fa izay mihinana izany dia ho meloka, satria nanamavo ny zava-masin’ i Jehovah izy, ka dia hofongorana tsy ho amin’ ny fireneny izany olona izany.
9 And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not complete the reaping of your field with exactness, and you shall not gather that which falls from your reaping.
Ary raha mijinja ny vokatry ny tanimbarinareo ianareo, dia aza jinjana avokoa ny eny an-tsisiny; ary aza tsimponina izay latsaka avy amin’ ny vokatrao.
10 And you shall not go over the gathering of your vineyard, neither shall you gather the remaining grapes of your vineyard: you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.
Ary aza otazana avokoa ny eo amin’ ny sahanao, ary aza tsimponina izay latsaka eo amin’ ny sahanao; fa avelao ho an’ ny malahelo sy ny vahiny izany: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
11 You shall not steal, you shall not lie, neither shall one bear false witness as an informer against his neighbour.
Aza mangalatra, aza mamitaka, aza mifandainga.
12 And you shall not swear unjustly by my name, and you shall not profane the holy name of your God: I am the Lord your God.
Aza mianian-tsy tò amin’ ny anarako, na manamavo ny anaran’ Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.
13 You shall not injure your neighbour, neither do you rob [him], neither shall the wages of your hireling remain with you until the morning.
Aza manao an-keriny amin’ ny zavatry ny namanao na mampahory azy; ny karaman’ izay nokaramainao aoka tsy hitoetra ao aminao miloaka alina.
14 You shall not revile the deaf, neither shall you put a stumbling block in the way of the blind; and you shall fear the Lord your God: I am the Lord your God.
Aza miteny ratsy ny marenina na manisy zavatra mahatafintohina eo anoloan’ ny jamba; fa matahora an’ Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.
15 You shall not act unjustly in judgement: you shall not accept the person of the poor, nor admire the person of the mighty; with justice shall you judge your neighbour.
Aza manao izay tsy marina amin’ ny fitsarana; aza miandany foana amin’ ny malahelo, na mena-maso ny lehibe; fahamarinana no hitsaranao ny namanao.
16 You shall not walk deceitfully amongst your people; you shall not rise up against the blood of your neighbour: I am the Lord your God.
Aza mandehandeha manaratsy eo amin’ ny firenenao; aza mitsangana handatsaka ny ran’ ny namanao: Izaho no Jehovah.
17 You shall not hate your brother in your heart: you shall in any wise rebuke your neighbour, so you shall not bear sin on his account.
Aza mankahala ny rahalahinao amin’ ny fonao; mananara dia mananara ny namanao, mba tsy hahazoanao heloka noho ny aminy.
18 And your hand shall not avenge you; and you shall not be angry with the children of your people; and you shall love your neighbour as yourself; I am the Lord.
Aza mamaly ratsy na manao lolompo amin’ izay iray firenena aminao: fa tiava ny namanao tahaka ny tenanao: Izaho no Jehovah.
19 You shall observe my law: you shall not let your cattle gender with one of a different kind, and you shall not sow your vineyard with diverse seed; and you shall not put upon yourself a mingled garment woven of two [materials].
Tandremo ny didiko: Aza avela hilomy amin’ ny hafa karazana noho izy ny biby fiompinao; aza fafazanao voan-javatra roa karazana mifangaroharo ny taninao; ary aza mitafy lamba natao amin’ ny zavatra roa samy hafa karazana mifamahofaho.
20 And if any one lie carnally with a woman, and she should be a home-servant kept for a man, and she has not been ransomed, [and] her freedom has not been given to her, they shall be visited [with punishment]; but they shall not die, because she was not set at liberty.
Ary raha misy mandry amin’ ny andevovavy izay voafofon’ olona ho vadiny, ka tsy voavotra na voavotsotra ho olom-potsy ravehivavy, dia hofaizana izy roroa, fa tsy hatao maty, satria tsy olompotsy ravehivavy.
21 And he shall bring for his trespass to the Lord to the door of the tabernacle of witness, a ram for a trespass-offering.
Ary ho entin-dralehilahy ny fanati-panonerany ho an’ i Jehovah ho eo anoloan’ ny varavaran’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, dia ondrilahy iray hatao fanati-panonerana;
22 And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass-offering, before the Lord, for the sin which he sinned; and the sin which he sinned shall be forgiven him.
ary ny mpisorona hanao fanavotana ho azy amin’ ilay ondrilahy hatao fanati-panonerana, eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, noho ny fahotana izay nataony; dia havela izany fahotany izany.
23 And whenever you shall enter into the land which the Lord your God gives you, and shall plant any fruit tree, then shall you purge away its uncleanness; its fruit shall be three years uncleansed to you, it shall not be eaten.
Ary raha tonga any amin’ ny tany ianareo ka mamboly hazo fihinam-boa, dia hataonareo ho toy ny tsy voafora ny voany; telo taona no hataonareo ho toy ny tsy voafora izy ka tsy hohanina;
24 And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, a subject of praise to the Lord.
ary amin’ ny taona fahefatra dia ho masìna ny voany rehetra ka hatao fanatitra hiderana an’ i Jehovah;
25 And in the fifth year you shall eat the fruit, its produce is an increase to you. I am the Lord your God.
fa amin’ ny taona fahadimy vao hihinana ny voany ianareo, mba hitomboan’ ny fahavokarany ho anareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
26 Eat not on the mountains, nor shall you employ auguries, nor divine by inspection of birds.
Aza homana zavatra misy rà; aza manao sikidy na manandro.
27 You shall not make a round cutting of the hair of your head, nor disfigure your beard.
Aza manety ny sisim-bolon-dohanareo, ary aza manaratra ny vaokanao.
28 And you shall not make cuttings in your body for a [dead] body, and you shall not inscribe on yourselves any marks. I am the Lord your God.
Ary aza mitetika ny tenanareo noho ny maty, na manao tombo-kavatsa amin’ ny tenanareo: Izaho no Jehovah.
29 You shall not profane your daughter to prostitute her; so the land shall not go a whoring, and the land be filled with iniquity.
Aza mampijangajanga ny zanakao-vavy hampahaloto azy, fandrao hijangajanga ny tany ka ho feno fahavetavetana.
30 You shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuaries: I am the Lord.
Tandremo ny Sabatako, ary hajao ny fitoerako masìna: Izaho no Jehovah.
31 You shall not attend to those who have in them divining spirits, nor attach yourselves to enchanters, to pollute yourselves with them: I am the Lord your God.
Aza mivily hanaraka izay manao azy ho tsindrian-javatra, na mitady saina amin’ ny mpanao hatsarana, hahaloto anareo aminy: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
32 You shall rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and shall fear your God: I am the Lord your God.
Mitsangàna raha eo anatrehan’ ny fotsy volo ianao, ka manajà ny tavan’ ny anti-panahy, ary matahora an’ Andriamanitrao: Izaho no Jehovah.
33 And if there should come to you a stranger in your land, you shall not afflict him.
Ary raha misy mivahiny aminao eo amin’ ny taninareo, aza manao sarotra aminy.
34 The stranger that comes to you shall be amongst you as the native, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
Ny vahiny eo aminareo dia hataonareo tahaka ny tompon-tany aminareo ihany ka ho tianao tahaka ny tenanano; fa efa mba vahiny tany amin’ ny tany Egypta ianareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo.
35 You shall not act unrighteously in judgement, in measures and weights and scales.
Aza manao izay tsy marina amin’ ny fitsarana, na amin’ ny fandrefesana, na amin’ ny fandanjana, na amin’ ny famarana.
36 There shall be amongst you just balances and just weights and just liquid measure. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
Mizana marina, vato marina, efaha marina, hina marina, no hotananareo: Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, Izay nitondra anareo nivoaka avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta.
37 And you shall keep all my law and all my ordinances, and you shall do them: I am the Lord your God.
Ary tandremo ny didiko rehetra sy ny fitsipiko rehetra, ka araho izany: Izaho no Jehovah.
