< Lamentations 1 >

1 And it came to pass, after Israel was taken captive, and Jerusalem made desolate, [that] Jeremias sat weeping, and lamented [with] this lamentation over Jerusalem, and said, ALEPH. How does the city that was filled with people sit solitary! she is become as a widow: she that was magnified amongst the nations, [and] princess amongst the provinces, has become tributary.
Tala ndenge nini engumba oyo, na kala, ezalaki na bato ebele penza, etikali lisusu na bato te! Tala ndenge nini engumba oyo ezalaki na lokumu kati na bikolo ekomi lelo lokola mwasi akufisa mobali; oyo ezalaki engumba mokonzi ekomi lelo na bowumbu!
2 BETH. She weeps sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks; and there is none of all her lovers to comfort her: all that were her friends have dealt deceitfully with her, they are become her enemies.
Butu mobimba, azali kolela se kolela, mpinzoli etondi na matama na ye. Kati na bamakangu na ye nyonso, moko te ayei kobondisa ye; baninga na ye nyonso bakosi ye, bakomi banguna na ye.
3 GIMEL. Judea is gone into captivity by reason of her affliction, and by reason of the abundance of her servitude: she dwells amongst the nations, she has not found rest: all her pursuers have overtaken her between her oppressors.
Yuda akei na bowumbu, akomi konyokwama mpe kosala misala makasi; azali kovanda kati na bikolo, azali lisusu na esika ya kopema te. Bato nyonso oyo bazali kolanda ye, bakangi ye kati na pasi makasi.
4 DALETH. The ways of Sion mourn, because there are none that come to the feast: all her gates are ruined: her priests groan, her virgins are led captive, and she is in bitterness in herself.
Nzela oyo ekenda kino na Siona ezali na matanga, pamba te bato bazali koya lisusu na bafeti te. Bikuke na ye nyonso etikali lisusu na bato te, Banganga-Nzambe na ye bazali kolela, bana na ye ya basi oyo bayebi nanu nzoto ya mibali te bazali na mawa; bongo ye moko akomi na pasi makasi kati na motema.
5 HE. Her oppressors are become the head, and her enemies have prospered; for the Lord has afflicted her because of the multitude of her sins: her young children are gone into captivity before the face of the oppressor.
Banguna na ye bakomi bakonzi na ye, bayini na ye bazali na esengo; pamba te Yawe atindeli Siona pasi likolo ya ebele ya masumu na ye. Bana na ye ya mibali bakei na bowumbu, bakangi bango mpe bazali kotambola liboso ya monguna na ye.
6 VAU. And all her beauty has been taken away from the daughter of Sion: her princes were as rams finding no pasture, and are gone [away] in weakness before the face of the pursuer.
Lokumu nyonso ya Siona, mboka kitoko, esili; bakambi na ye bakomi lokola mboloko oyo ezangi matiti ya kolia, mpe bazali kokima, makasi na bango esili liboso ya moto oyo azali kolanda bango.
7 ZAIN. Jerusalem remembered the days of her affliction, and her rejection; [she thought on] all her desirable things which were from the days of old, when her people fell into the hands of the oppressor, and there was none to help her: when her enemies saw [it] they laughed at her habitation.
Na mikolo na ye ya pasi mpe ya koyengayenga, tango bato na ye bazali kokweya na maboko ya banguna mpe moto akosunga ye azali te, Yelusalemi azali kokanisa bomengo na ye nyonso ya kala; bayini na ye batali ye na pamba mpe basepeli na kobebisama na ye.
8 HETH. Jerusalem has sinned a [great] sin; therefore has she come into tribulation, all that used to honour her have afflicted her, for they have seen her shame: yes, she herself groaned, and turned backward.
Yelusalemi asali masumu mingi penza, yango wana akomi mbindo. Bato nyonso oyo bazalaki kopesa ye lokumu bakomi kotiola ye, pamba te bamoni bolumbu na ye; ye moko mpe azali komilela mpe abaluki mpo na kobomba elongi.
9 TETH. Her uncleanness is before her feet; she remembered not her last end; she has lowered her boasting [tone], there is none to comfort her. Behold, O Lord, my affliction: for the enemy has magnified himself.
Mbindo na ye ekangami ye na elamba, ayebaki te makambo nini ekokomela ye na sima. Tala ye wana akweyi, bongo kokweya na ye ezali kokamwisa; moto oyo akolendisa ye azali te! « Oh Yawe, tala pasi na ngai, pamba te monguna alongi ngai! »
10 JOD. The oppressor has stretched out his hand on all her desirable things: for she has seen the Gentiles entering into her sanctuary, [concerning] whom you did command that they should not enter into your congregation.
Monguna asemboli loboko na ye likolo ya bomengo nyonso ya Yelusalemi, bongo azali komona bikolo ya bapaya kokota na esika na ye ya bule, bikolo oyo Yo opekisaki kokota kati na lisanga na Yo.
11 CHAPH. All her people groan, seeking bread: they have given their desirable things for meat, to restore their soul: behold, Lord, and look; for she is become dishonoured.
Bato na ye nyonso bazali kolela lokola bato bazali koluka bilei; bapesaki bomengo na bango mpo na kozwa bilei, mpo ete bawumela na bomoi. Oh Yawe, tala mpe mona ndenge natiolami!
12 LAMED. All you that pass by the way, turn, and see if there is sorrow like to my sorrow, which has happened [to me]. The Lord who spoke by me has afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
Bino bato nyonso oyo bolekelaka wana; boni, ezali kosala bino eloko moko te? Botala malamu zingazinga na bino, ezali na pasi lokola pasi oyo ekomeli ngai? Yawe atindeli ngai yango na mokolo ya kanda makasi na Ye.
13 MEM. He has sent fire from his lofty habitation, he has brought it into my bones: he has spread a net for my feet, he has turned me back: he has made me desolate [and] mourning all the day.
Wuta na likolo, atindeli ngai moto, akitiseli ngai yango kino na mikuwa; atieli ngai motambo na makolo mpe akweyisi ngai; akomisi ngai eloko ya pamba, akotisi ngai na mawa ya mokolo na mokolo.
14 NUN. He has watched over my sins, they are twined about my hands, they have come up on my neck: my strength has failed; for the Lord has laid pains on my hands, I shall not be able to stand.
Maboko na Ye ekangi masumu na ngai ndenge bakangaka ekangiseli; masumu yango emati ngai kino na kingo, mpe Nkolo asilisi makasi na ngai, akabi ngai na maboko ya bato oyo nazali na makoki ya kotelemela te.
15 SAMECH. The Lord has cut off all my strong men from the midst of me: he has summoned against me a time for crushing my choice men: the Lord has trodden a wine-press for the virgin daughter of Juda: for these things I weep.
Yawe asundoli bilombe nyonso ya bitumba oyo bazalaki na milongo na ngai; abengi mampinga ya bapaya mpo ete baya koboma bilenge mibali na ngai. Nkolo akamoli Yuda, mboka kitoko, na ekamolelo na Ye ya vino.
16 AIN. Mine eye has poured out water, because he that should comfort me, that should restore my soul, has been removed far from me: my sons have been destroyed, because the enemy has prevailed.
Tala tina nini nazali kolela mpe miso na ngai etondi na mpinzoli; moto moko te ayei pene na ngai mpo na kobondisa ngai, moto moko te ayei kolendisa molimo na ngai. Bana na ngai bazali na pasi, mpo ete monguna aleki ngai na makasi.
17 PHE. Sion has spread out her hand, [and] there is none to comfort her: the Lord has commanded [concerning] Jacob, his oppressors are round about him: Jerusalem has become amongst them as a removed woman.
Siona atomboli maboko na ye, kasi moto oyo akobondisa ye azali te. Yawe azwi mokano mpo na Jakobi ete bazalani na ye bakokoma banguna na ye, mpe ete Yelusalemi akokoma eloko ya mbindo na miso na bango.
18 TSADE. The Lord is righteous; for I have provoked his mouth: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my grief: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
Yawe azali sembo; nzokande, ezali ngai nde natombokelaki mitindo na Ye. Boyoka, bino bikolo nyonso, mpe botala pasi na ngai! Bana na ngai ya basi mpe ya mibali bakei na bowumbu.
19 KOPH. I called my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and my elders failed in the city; for they sought meat that they might restore their souls, and found [it] not.
Nabengisaki baninga na ngai, kasi bakosaki ngai. Banganga-Nzambe mpe bakambi na ngai bakufaki kati na engumba tango bazalaki koluka bilei mpo ete bawumela na bomoi.
20 RHECHS. Behold, O Lord; for I am afflicted: my belly is troubled, and my heart is turned within me; for I have been grievously rebellious: abroad the sword has bereaved me, even as death at home.
Oh Yawe, tala ndenge nazali na pasi: libumu na ngai ezali kotungisama, mpe motema na ngai ezali kosala pasi, pamba te nazalaki motomboki penza. Na libanda, mopanga ezali koboma bana na ngai; mpe na kati, ezali kaka kufa.
21 CHSEN. Hear, I pray you, for I groan: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard [of] mine afflictions, and rejoice because you have done [it]: you have brought on the day, you have called the time: they are become like to me.
Bato bayokaki na bango kolela na ngai, kasi moto akobondisa ngai azali te; banguna na ngai nyonso bayokaki sango ya pasi na ngai mpe basepelaki na makambo oyo osalaki. Tika ete okokisa solo mokolo oyo olakaki, mpo ete bango mpe bakoma lokola ngai!
22 THAU. Let all their wickedness come before your face; and strip them, as they have made a gleaning for all my sins: for my groans are many, and my heart is grieved.
Tika ete mabe na bango nyonso eya liboso na Yo; sala bango ndenge osalaki ngai mpo na masumu nyonso oyo nasalaki! Kolela na ngai ezali mingi mpe motema na ngai etondi na pasi!
