Joshua 18
1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel were assembled at Selo, and there they pitched the tabernacle of witness; and the land was subdued by them.
Shromáždilo se pak všecko množství synů Izraelských do Sílo, a tu postavili stánek úmluvy, když již země od nich podmaněna byla.
2 And the sons of Israel remained, [even] those who [had] not received their inheritance, seven tribes.
Pozůstalo pak z synů Izraelských, jimž ještě nebylo rozděleno dědictví jejich, sedmero pokolení.
3 And Joshua said to the sons of Israel, How long will you be slack to inherit the land, which the Lord our God has given you?
I řekl Jozue synům Izraelským: I dokudž zanedbáváte vjíti, abyste se uvázali v zemi, kterouž vám dal Hospodin Bůh otců vašich?
4 Appoint of yourselves three men of each tribe, and let them rise up and go through the land, and let them describe it before me, as it will be proper to divide it.
Vydejte z sebe z každého pokolení tři muže, ať je pošli, aby vstanouce, zchodili zemi, a popsali ji vedlé dědictví svých; potom navrátí se ke mně.
5 And they came to him: and he divided to them seven portions, [saying], Juda shall stand to them a border southward, and the sons of Joseph shall stand to them northward.
I rozdělí ji na sedm dílů. Juda zůstane v končinách svých od poledne, a čeledi Jozefovy zůstanou v končinách svých od půlnoci.
6 And do you divide the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, and I will give you a lot before the Lord our God.
Vy pak, když popíšete zemi na sedm dílů, přinesete sem ke mně; tedy uvrhu vám losy zde před Hospodinem Bohem naším.
7 For the sons of Levi have no part amongst you; for the priesthood of the Lord [is] his portion; and Gad, and Ruben, and the half tribe of Manasse, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan eastward, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave to them.
Nebo nemají dílu Levítové u prostřed vás, proto že kněžství Hospodinovo jest dědictví jejich; Gád pak a Ruben, a polovice pokolení Manassesova, vzali dědictví své před Jordánem na východ, kteréž dal jim Mojžíš, služebník Hospodinův.
8 And the men rose up and went; and Joshua charged the men who went to explore the land, saying, Go and explore the land, and come to me, and I will bring you forth a lot here before the Lord in Selo.
Protož vstavše muži ti, odešli. A přikázal Jozue těm, kteříž šli, aby popsali zemi, řka: Jděte a projděte zemi, a popište ji; potom navraťte se ke mně, a uvrhu zde losy před Hospodinem v Sílo.
9 And they went, and explored the land: and they viewed it, and described it according to the cities, seven parts in a book, and brought [the book] to Joshua.
Tedy odešli muži, a prošedše zemi, popsali ji po městech na sedm dílů na knize, a navrátili se k Jozue do stanů v Sílo.
10 And Joshua cast the lot for them in Selo before the Lord.
I uvrhl jim losy Jozue v Sílo před Hospodinem, a rozdělil tu Jozue zemi synům Izraelským vedlé dílů jejich.
11 And the lot of the tribe of Benjamin came forth first according to their families: and the borders of their lot came forth between the children of Juda and the children of Joseph.
Padl pak los pokolení synů Beniaminových po čeledech jejich, a přišla meze dílu jejich mezi syny Juda a syny Jozefovy.
12 And their borders were northward: the borders shall go up from Jordan behind Jericho northward, and shall go up to the mountain westward, and the issue of it shall be Baethon of Mabdara.
A byla meze jejich k straně půlnoční od Jordánu, a šla při straně půlnoční Jericha, a táhla se na hory k moři, a skonávala se při poušti Betaven.
13 And the borders will go forth thence to Luz, behind Luz, from the south of it; this is Baethel: and the borders shall go down to Maatarob Orech, to the hill country, which is southward of Baethoron the lower.
A odtud přechází ta meze do Lůz, při straně Lůz polední, (jenž jest Bethel, ) a chýlí se ta meze do Atarot Addar vedlé hory, kteráž jest od poledne Betoron dolního.
14 And the borders shall pass through and proceed to the part that looks towards the sea, on the south, from the mountain in front of Baethoron southward, and its termination shall be at Cariath-Baal, this is Cariath-Jarin, a city of the children of Juda; this is the part towards the west.
Odkudž obchází vůkol k straně moře na poledne od hory, kteráž jest proti Betoron ku polední, a konec její jest Kariatbaal, (jenž jest Kariatjeharim), město synů Juda. Ta jest strana západní.
15 And the south side on the part of Cariath-Baal; and the borders shall go across to Gasin, to the fountain of the water of Naphtho.
Strana pak ku poledni od konce Kariatjeharim, a vychází ta meze k moři, a přichází až k studnici vod Neftoa.
16 And the borders shall extend down on one side, this is in front of the forest of Sonnam, which is on the side of Emec Raphain northward, and it shall come down to Gaeenna behind Jebusai southward: it shall come down to the fountain of Rogel.
A táhne se táž meze k konci hory, kteráž jest naproti údolí synů Hinnom, a jest v údolí Refaim na půlnoci, a běží skrze údolí Hinnom po straně Jebuzea na poledne, a přichází k studnici Rogel.
17 And [the borders] shall go across to the fountain of Baethsamys:
Potom točí se od půlnoci, a dochází k Ensemes, a vychází do Gelilot, kteréž jest naproti místu, kudy se jde do Adomim, a sstupuje k kameni Bohana, syna Rubenova.
18 and shall proceed to Galiloth, which is in front by the going up of Aethamin; and they shall come down to the stone of Baeon of the sons of Ruben; and shall pass over behind Baetharaba northward, and shall go down to the borders behind the sea northward.
Odtud přechází k straně, kteráž jest naproti rovinám strany půlnoční, a táhne se do Araba.
19 And the termination of the borders shall be at the creek of the salt sea northward to the side of Jordan southward: these are their southern borders.
Odtud jde k straně Betogla na půlnoci, a skonává se meze ta při zátoce moře slaného od půlnoční strany, tu kdež vpadá Jordán do moře na polední straně. To jest pomezí ku poledni.
20 And Jordan shall be their boundary on the east: this [is] the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, these [are] their borders round about according to their families.
Jordán také je odděluje k straně východní. To jest dědictví synů Beniaminových s mezemi svými vůkol a vůkol po čeledech jejich.
21 And the cities of the children of Benjamin according to their families [were] Jericho, and Bethagaeo, and the Amecasis,
A byla města tato pokolení synů Beniaminových po čeledech jejich: Jericho, Betogla a údolí Kasis;
22 and Baethabara, and Sara, and Besana,
A Betaraba, Semaraim a Bethel;
23 and Aeein, and Phara, and Ephratha,
A Avim, též Afara a Ofra;
24 and Carapha, and Cephira, and Moni, and Gabaa, twelve cities and their villages:
A Cefer, Hamona, Ofni a Gaba, měst dvanáct a vsi jejich;
25 Gabaon, and Rama, and Beerotha;
Gabaon, Ráma a Berot;
26 and Massema, and Miron, and Amoke;
Masfa, Kafira a Mosa;
27 and Phira, and Caphan, and Nacan, and Selecan, and Thareela,
Rekem, Jarefel a Tarela;
28 and Jebus (this is Jerusalem); and Gabaoth, Jarim, thirteen cities, and their villages; this [is] the inheritance of the sons of Benjamin according to their families.
A Sela, Elef a Jebus, (jenž jest Jeruzalém, ) Gibat, Kariat, měst čtrnácte i vsi jejich. To jest dědictví synů Beniaminových po čeledech jejich.
