< Job 9 >

1 Then Job answered and said,
Yobo azongisaki:
2 I know of a truth that it is so: for how shall a mortal man be just before the Lord?
« Ezali ya solo, ezali penza ndenge osili koloba, mpe nayebi yango malamu! Kasi ndenge nini moto oyo asalema na putulu akoki kozala sembo liboso ya Nzambe?
3 For if he would enter into judgement with him, [God] would not listen to him, so that he should answer to one of his charges of a thousand.
Ata, na mbala nkoto moko, ameki kobeta tembe na Nzambe, akotikala kokoka kolonga ata mbala moko te.
4 For he is wise in mind, and mighty, and great: who has hardened himself against him and endured?
Bwanya ya Nzambe ezali na bozindo makasi, mpe nguya na Ye ezali monene; nani asila kotelemela Ye, bongo amona bolamu?
5 Who wears out the mountains, and [men] know it not: who overturns them in anger.
Alongolaka bangomba na bisika na yango, wana yango moko eyebaka te, mpe, kati na kanda na Ye, akweyisaka yango;
6 Who shakes the [earth] under heaven from its foundations, and its pillars totter.
aningisaka mabele wuta na esika na yango mpe alengisaka makonzi na yango;
7 Who commands the sun, and it rises not; and he seals up the stars.
apesaka mitindo na moyi, mpe moyi ebimaka te; atiaka kashe na minzoto.
8 Who alone has stretched out the heavens, and walks on the sea as on firm ground.
Atandaki Ye moko Likolo mpe atambolaka likolo ya mbonge ya ebale;
9 Who makes Pleias, and Hesperus, and Arcturus, and the chambers of the south.
akelaki bangombolo minene, orioni, masanga ya minzoto mpe minzoto ya sude;
10 Who does great and unsearchable things; glorious also and excellent things, innumerable.
asalaka makambo minene oyo elekelaka mayele ya bato, bikamwa ya somo oyo bakokaka kotanga te.
11 If ever he should go beyond me, I shall not see him: if he should pass by me, neither thus have I known [it].
Soki aleki pene na ngai, nakokoka te komona Ye; soki mpe akei, nakokoka te komona Ye.
12 If he would take away, who shall turn him back? or who shall say to him, What have you done?
Soki azwi eloko, nani akoki kobotola Ye yango? Nani akoki koloba na Ye: ‹ Ozali kosala nini? ›
13 For [if] he has turned away [his] anger, the whales under heaven have stooped under him.
Nzambe azongisaka kanda na Ye sima te; liboso na Ye, ezala bato ya lolendo balengaka.
14 Oh then that he would listen to me, or judge my cause.
Bongo, ngai, nakokoka ndenge nini kobeta tembe na Ye? Nakolonga ndenge nini kopona maloba ya komekana na Ye?
15 For though I be righteous, he will not listen to me: I will entreat his judgement.
Ezala soki nazalaki moto ya sembo, nalingaki na ngai kokoka te kopesa Ye eyano; nalingaki kokoka nde kaka kosenga mawa ya Mosambisi na ngai.
16 And if I should call and he should not listen, I can’t believe that he has listened to my voice.
Ata nabelelaki Ye, mpe ayanoli ngai, nalingaki na ngai kondima te ete ayoki ngai,
17 Let him not crush me with a dark storm: but he has made by bruises many without cause.
pamba te afini ngai na nzela ya mopepe makasi mpe akomisi bapota na ngai ebele na pamba,
18 For he suffers me not to take breath, but he has filled me with bitterness.
aboyi kotikela ngai tango ya kopema, wana azali kaka kotondisa ngai na pasi.
19 For indeed he is strong in power: who then shall resist his judgement?
Soki ezali likambo oyo esengi makasi, Ye nde Nkolo-Na-Nguya! Mpe soki ezali likambo ya bosembo, nani akoki kosambisa Ye?
20 For though I should seem righteous, my mouth will be profane: and though I should seem blameless, I shall be proved perverse.
Ezala namemaki na ngai ngambo te, monoko na ngai elingaki kaka kokweyisa ngai; ezala nazalaki sembo, monoko na ngai elingaki kaka kolakisa mbeba na ngai.
21 For even if I have sinned, I know it not [in] my soul: but my life is taken away.
Atako nazali sembo, motema na ngai etondi na mawa mpo na ngai moko, nayini bomoi na ngai.
22 Therefore I said, Wrath slays the great and mighty man.
Nyonso ezali kaka ndenge moko! Yango wana nalobi: ‹ Abomaka bato ya sembo mpe bato mabe. ›
23 For the worthless die, but the righteous are laughed to scorn.
Tango mopepe ya bokono ememaka kufa na mbalakata, Nzambe asekaka komekama ya bato ya sembo.
24 For they are delivered into the hands of the unrighteous [man]: he covers the faces of the judges [of the earth]: but if it be not he, who is it?
Soki mokili ekweyi na maboko ya bato mabe, Nzambe azipaka miso ya basambisi na yango. Soki ezali Ye te, ezali nani?
25 But my life is swifter than a post: [my days] have fled away, and they knew it not.
Mikolo ya bomoi na ngai ezali kokende mbangu koleka mopoti mbangu, ezali kokende mbangu penza, kasi etikali komona esengo te.
26 Or again, is there a trace of [their] path [left] by ships? or is there one of the flying eagle as it seeks [its] prey?
Ezali kokende penza mbangu koleka masuwa oyo esalema na papirisi, koleka mpongo oyo ezali kokitela bilei na yango.
27 And if I should say, I will forget to speak, I will bow down my face and groan;
Soki nalobi: ‹ Nabosana ata pasi na ngai, nabongola elongi na ngai mpe nakoma koseka, ›
28 I quake in all my limbs, for I know that you will not leave me alone [as] innocent.
nazali kaka kobanga pasi na ngai nyonso, pamba te nayebi ete okozwa na Yo ngai te lokola moto ya sembo.
29 But since I am ungodly, why have I not died?
Lokola esili komonana ete nasali mabe, mpo na nini namitungisa lisusu na pamba?
30 For if I should wash myself with snow, and purge myself with pure hands,
Ezala namisukoli nzoto na sabuni mpe nasukoli maboko na ngai na sabuni ya malonga,
31 you had thoroughly plunged me in filth, and my garment had abhorred me.
okobwaka ngai kaka na libulu ya potopoto, mpe bilamba na ngai ekoyoka ngai nkele.
32 For you are not man like me, with whom I could contend, that we might come together to judgement.
Azali moto lokola ngai te mpo ete nazongisela Ye eyano to nakende kosamba na Ye liboso ya basambisi.
33 Would that [he] our mediator were [present], and a reprover, and one who should hear [the cause] between both.
Soki ezalaki ata na moto moko oyo akokaki komikotisa kati na likambo na biso mpe kotombola loboko na ye kati na ngai mpe Nzambe,
34 Let him remove [his] rod from me, and let not his fear terrify me:
moto oyo akokaki kolongola fimbu ya Nzambe mosika na ngai mpo ete somo na Ye ebangisa ngai lisusu te,
35 so shall I not be afraid, but I will speak: for I am not thus conscious [of guilt].
nalingaki kotombola mongongo na ngai liboso na Ye na kobanga te. Kasi ndenge ezali sik’oyo, nakokoka te.
