Job 36
1 And Elius further continued, and said,
१फिर एलीहू ने यह भी कहा,
2 Wait for me yet a little while, that I may teach you: for there is yet speech in me.
२“कुछ ठहरा रह, और मैं तुझको समझाऊँगा, क्योंकि परमेश्वर के पक्ष में मुझे कुछ और भी कहना है।
3 Having fetched my knowledge from afar, and according to my works,
३मैं अपने ज्ञान की बात दूर से ले आऊँगा, और अपने सृजनहार को धर्मी ठहराऊँगा।
4 I will speak just things truly, and you shall not unjustly receive unjust words.
४निश्चय मेरी बातें झूठी न होंगी, वह जो तेरे संग है वह पूरा ज्ञानी है।
5 But know that the Lord will not cast off an innocent man: being mighty in strength of wisdom,
५“देख, परमेश्वर सामर्थी है, और किसी को तुच्छ नहीं जानता; वह समझने की शक्ति में समर्थ है।
6 he will not by any means save alive the ungodly: and he will grant the judgement of the poor.
६वह दुष्टों को जिलाए नहीं रखता, और दीनों को उनका हक़ देता है।
7 He will not turn away his eyes from the righteous, but [they shall be] with kings on the throne: and he will establish them in triumph, and they shall be exalted.
७वह धर्मियों से अपनी आँखें नहीं फेरता, वरन् उनको राजाओं के संग सदा के लिये सिंहासन पर बैठाता है, और वे ऊँचे पद को प्राप्त करते हैं।
8 But they that are bound in fetters shall be holden in cords of poverty.
८और चाहे वे बेड़ियों में जकड़े जाएँ और दुःख की रस्सियों से बाँधे जाए,
9 And he shall recount to them their works, and their transgressions, for such will act with violence.
९तो भी परमेश्वर उन पर उनके काम, और उनका यह अपराध प्रगट करता है, कि उन्होंने गर्व किया है।
10 But he will listen to the righteous: and he has said that they shall turn from unrighteousness.
१०वह उनके कान शिक्षा सुनने के लिये खोलता है, और आज्ञा देता है कि वे बुराई से दूर रहें।
11 If they should hear and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in honour.
११यदि वे सुनकर उसकी सेवा करें, तो वे अपने दिन कल्याण से, और अपने वर्ष सुख से पूरे करते हैं।
12 But he preserves not the ungodly; because they are not willing to know the Lord, and because when reproved they were disobedient.
१२परन्तु यदि वे न सुनें, तो वे तलवार से नाश हो जाते हैं, और अज्ञानता में मरते हैं।
13 And the hypocrites in heart will array wrath [against themselves]; they will not cry, because he has bound them.
१३“परन्तु वे जो मन ही मन भक्तिहीन होकर क्रोध बढ़ाते, और जब वह उनको बाँधता है, तब भी दुहाई नहीं देते,
14 Therefore let their soul die in youth, and their life be wounded by messengers [of death].
१४वे जवानी में मर जाते हैं और उनका जीवन लुच्चों के बीच में नाश होता है।
15 Because they afflicted the weak and helpless: and he will vindicate the judgement of the meek.
१५वह दुःखियों को उनके दुःख से छुड़ाता है, और उपद्रव में उनका कान खोलता है।
16 And he has also enticed you out of the mouth of the enemy:
१६परन्तु वह तुझको भी क्लेश के मुँह में से निकालकर ऐसे चौड़े स्थान में जहाँ सकेती नहीं है, पहुँचा देता है, और चिकना-चिकना भोजन तेरी मेज पर परोसता है।
17 [there is] a deep gulf [and] a rushing stream beneath it, and your table came down full of fatness. Judgement shall not fail from the righteous;
१७“परन्तु तूने दुष्टों का सा निर्णय किया है इसलिए निर्णय और न्याय तुझ से लिपटे रहते हैं।
18 but there shall be wrath upon the ungodly, by reason of the ungodliness of the bribes which they received for iniquities.
१८देख, तू जलजलाहट से भर के ठट्ठा मत कर, और न घूस को अधिक बड़ा जानकर मार्ग से मुड़।
19 Let not [your] mind willingly turn you aside from the petition of the feeble that are in distress.
१९क्या तेरा रोना या तेरा बल तुझे दुःख से छुटकारा देगा?
20 And draw not forth all the mighty [men] by night, so that the people should go up instead of them.
२०उस रात की अभिलाषा न कर, जिसमें देश-देश के लोग अपने-अपने स्थान से मिटाएँ जाते हैं।
21 But take heed lest you do that which is wrong: for of this you has made choice because of poverty.
२१चौकस रह, अनर्थ काम की ओर मत फिर, तूने तो दुःख से अधिक इसी को चुन लिया है।
22 Behold, the Mighty One shall prevail by his strength: for who is powerful as he is?
२२देख, परमेश्वर अपने सामर्थ्य से बड़े-बड़े काम करता है, उसके समान शिक्षक कौन है?
23 And who is he that examines his works? or who can say, he has wrought injustice?
२३किसने उसके चलने का मार्ग ठहराया है? और कौन उससे कह सकता है, ‘तूने अनुचित काम किया है?’
24 Remember that his works are great [beyond] those which men have attempted.
२४“उसके कामों की महिमा और प्रशंसा करने को स्मरण रख, जिसकी प्रशंसा का गीत मनुष्य गाते चले आए हैं।
25 Every man has seen in himself, how many mortals are wounded.
२५सब मनुष्य उसको ध्यान से देखते आए हैं, और मनुष्य उसे दूर-दूर से देखता है।
26 Behold, the Mighty One is great, and we shall not know [him]: the number of his years is even infinite.
२६देख, परमेश्वर महान और हमारे ज्ञान से कहीं परे है, और उसके वर्ष की गिनती अनन्त है।
27 And the drops of rain are numbered by him, and shall be poured out in rain to form a cloud.
२७क्योंकि वह तो जल की बूँदें ऊपर को खींच लेता है वे कुहरे से मेंह होकर टपकती हैं,
28 The ancient [heavens] shall flow, and the clouds overshadow innumerable mortals: he has fixed a time to cattle, and they know the order of rest. [Yet] by all these things your understanding is not astonished, neither is your mind disturbed in [your] body.
२८वे ऊँचे-ऊँचे बादल उण्डेलते हैं और मनुष्यों के ऊपर बहुतायत से बरसाते हैं।
29 And though one should understand the outspreadings of the clouds, [or] the measure of his tabernacle;
२९फिर क्या कोई बादलों का फैलना और उसके मण्डल में का गरजना समझ सकता है?
30 behold he will stretch his bow against him, and he covers the bottom of the sea.
३०देख, वह अपने उजियाले को चहुँ ओर फैलाता है, और समुद्र की थाह को ढाँपता है।
31 For by them he will judge the nations: he will give food to him that has strength.
३१क्योंकि वह देश-देश के लोगों का न्याय इन्हीं से करता है, और भोजनवस्तुएँ बहुतायत से देता है।
32 He has hidden the light in [his] hands, and given charge concerning it to the interposing [cloud].
३२वह बिजली को अपने हाथ में लेकर उसे आज्ञा देता है कि निशाने पर गिरे।
33 The Lord will declare concerning this [to] his friend: [but there is] a portion also for unrighteousness.
३३इसकी कड़क उसी का समाचार देती है पशु भी प्रगट करते हैं कि अंधड़ चढ़ा आता है।
