< Jeremias 33 >
1 IN THE BEGINNING OF THE REIGN OF KING JOAKIM SON OF JOSIAS THERE CAME THIS WORD FROM THE LORD.
Niheo am’Iirmeà fañindroe’e ty tsara’ Iehovà, ie mbe nirindriñe an-kiririsam-pigaritse ao, nanao ty hoe:
2 Thus said the Lord; Stand in the court of the Lord's house, and you shall declare to all the Jews, and to all that come to worship in the house of the Lord, all the words which I commanded you to speak to them; abate not one word.
Hoe t’Iehovà Andrianamboatse, Iehovà nañoreñe, hampijadoñe aze, Iehovà ty tahina’e.
3 Peradventure they will hear, and turn every one from his evil way: then I will cease from the evils which I purpose to do to them, because of their evil practices.
Kanjio iraho, le ho toiñeko, hitaroñe raha fanjaka naho miheotse tsy fohi’o.
4 And you shall say, Thus said the Lord; If you will not listen to me, to walk in my statutes which I set before you,
Aa hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele: O anjomba’ ty rova toio, naho o anjomba’ o mpanjaka’Iehodào, o narotsake ho tambohom-pañarovañe amo firampiañeo naho amo fibarao,
5 to listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send to you early in the morning; yes, I sent them, but you listened not to me;
ie mialy amo nte-Kasdio, ro mone hiliporañe lolo’ondaty zinamako ami’ ty habosehako, naho ami’ty fifombokoo, ty amo fonga haloloañe nañetahako tarehe ami’ty rova toio.
6 then will I make this house as Selo, and I will make [this] city a curse to all the nations of all the earth.
Inao! handesako fijanganañe le ho melañeko; vaho haborako am’ iereo ty haliforan-kanintsiñe naho hatò.
7 And the priests, and the false prophets, and all the people heard Jeremias speaking these words in the house of the Lord.
Hafoteko ty fandrohiza’ Iehodà naho ty fandrohiza’ Israele, vaho haoreko manahake tam-baloha’e.
8 And it came to pass, when Jeremias had ceased speaking all that the Lord had ordered him to speak to all the people, that the priests and the false prophets and all the people took him, saying,
Ie ho lioveko amo halò-tserek’ iabio, i nampanan-tahiñe iareo amakoy; vaho hapoko iaby ty hakeo’ iareo, i nandilara’ iareo amako rezay; o nañotà’ iareo faly amakoo,
9 You shall surely die, because you have prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying, This house shall be as Selo, and this city shall be made quite destitute of inhabitants. And all the people assembled against Jeremias in the house of the Lord.
ho tahinam-pampirebehañ’ ahy naho engeñe vaho volonahetse, añatrefa ze fifehea’ ty tane toy, le hañeveñe naho hinevenevetse ze hahajanjiñe ty hasoa hanoeko am’ iereo; amy ze hene hasoa naho fierañerañañe hanoako.
10 And the princes of Juda heard this word, and they went up out of the house of the king to the house of the Lord, and sat in the entrance of the new gate.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Mbe ho janjiñeñe an-toetse atoy, i atao’ areo ty hoe: Mangoakoake, tsy ama’ ondaty, tsy amam-biby naho amo rova’ Iehodào naho an-dàmo’ Ierosalaime ey; amy bangìñe tsy ama’ ondaty, tsy amam-pimoneñe, tsy aman-kàrey,
11 Then the priests and the false prophets said to the princes and to all the people, The judgement of death [is due] to this man; because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.
ty feom-pirebehañe, naho ty feon-kafaleañe, ty feom-pañenga naho ty feon’engaeñe, ty fiarañanaña’ o manao ty hoe: Andriaño t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, fa soa t’Iehovà, nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e; vaho o minday engam-pañandriañañe mb’añ’anjomba’ Iehovà mb’eoo. Amy te hampoliko ty fandrohiza’ i taney manahake tam-baloha’ey, hoe t’Iehovà.
12 Then Jeremias spoke to the princes, and to all the people, saying, The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city, all the words which you have heard.
Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, Mbe ho eo indraik’ ami’ty toetse mangoakoake toy, ie tsy ama’ondaty, tsy aman-kàre, naho amo hene rova’eo, ty kivohom-piarake mampàndre o lia-rai’eo.
13 And now amend your ways and your works, and listen to the voice of the Lord; and the Lord shall cease from the evils which he has pronounced against you.
Amo rova am-bohitseo naho amo rova am-bavataneo naho amo rova atimoo naho an-tane’ i Beniamine ao naho am-paripari’ Ierosalaimeo vaho amo rova Iehodao, ty hirangà’ o lia-raikeo ambane’ ty fitàñe mañiake iareo, hoe t’Iehovà.
14 And behold, I am in your hands; do to me as is expedient, and as it is best for you.
Inao! ho tondroke ty andro, hoe t’Iehovà, te ho henefako i tsara soa nitsaraeko amy anjomba’ Israeley naho i anjomba’ Iehodàiy.
15 But know for a certainty, that if you kill me, you bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon them that dwell in it; for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak in your ears all these words.
Ie amy andro rezay naho amy sa zay, ty hampitiriako toran-kavañonañe t’i Davide, le ie ty hitoloñe an-katò naho an-kavantañañe amy taney.
16 Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the false prophets; Judgement of death is not [due] to this man; for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.
Ho rombaheñe amy andro rezay t’Iehodà, vaho hierañerañe t’Ierosalaime; le hoe ty hitokavañe aze, Iehovà Havantañan-tika.
17 And there rose up men of the elders of the land, and said to all the assembly of the people,
Fa hoe t’Iehovà: Le lia’e tsy haitoañe amy Davide t’indaty miambesatse amy fiambesa’ i anjomba’ Israeleiy;
18 Michaeas the Morathite lived in the days of Ezekias king of Juda, and said to all the people of Juda, Thus says the Lord; Sion shall be ploughed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become a desolation, and the mountain of the house shall be a thicket of trees.
vaho le lia’e tsy haitoañe amo mpisoroñe nte-Levio t’indaty hanolotse engan-koroañe, naho hañoro enga-mahakama, vaho hisoroñe nainai’e añatrefako eo.
19 Did Ezekias and all Juda in any way kill him? Was it not that they feared the Lord, and they made supplication before the Lord, and the Lord ceased from the evils which he [had] pronounced against them? whereas we have wrought great evil against our own souls.
Niheo am’ Iirmeà ty tsara’ Iehovà manao ty hoe:
20 And there was [another] man prophesying in the name of the Lord, Urias the son of Samaeas of Cariathiarim; and he prophesied concerning this land according to all the words of Jeremias.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Naho lefe’ areo valiheñe ty fañinako amy àndroy, naho ty fañinako amy haleñey, soa te tsy ho aman-kandro, tsy ho aman-kaleñe o famantaña’eo;
21 And king Joakim and all the princes heard all his words, and sought to kill him; and Urias heard [it] and went into Egypt.
zay vaho mete mivalike amy fañinako amy Davide mpitorokoy, naho tsy hanañ’anake hamelek’ amy fiambesa’ey; vaho amo mpisoroñe nte-Levy mpiatrak’Ahio.
22 And the king sent men into Egypt;
Hambañe amy te tsy mete iaheñe ty havasiañan-dikerañe, vaho tsy lefe zehèñe o fasen-driakeo; ty hampitomboako ty tarira’ i Davide mpitorokoy, naho o nte-Levy mpiatrak’ ahio.
23 and they brought him thence, and brought him into the king; and he struck him with the sword, and cast him into the sepulchre of the children of his people.
Niheo am’ Iirmeà ty tsara’ Iehovà manao ty hoe:
24 Nevertheless the hand of Achicam son of Saphan was with Jeremias, to prevent his being delivered into the hands of the people, or being killed.
Tsy nioni’o hao ty saontsi’ ondaty retoa manao ty hoe: O fifokoañe roe jinobo’ Iehovà rey, le fa naitoa’e? Aa le mavoe’ iereo ondatikoo, t’ie tsy ho fifeheañe añ’atrefa’ iareo ka.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Naho tsy nifañina ami’ty andro naho ty haleñe, naho tsy tinendreko fañè i likerañey naho ty tane toy:
le ho farieko ty tiri’ Iakobe naho ty a i Davide mpitorokoy, vaho tsy ho rambeseko amo tiri’eo ty ho mpifeleke o tarira’ i Avrahame, Ietsake, naho Iakobeo; fe toe hampoliko ty fandrohiza’ iareo, vaho hiferenaiñako.
