< Jeremias 30 >

1 CONCERNING THE SONS OF AMMON thus says the Lord, Are there no sons in Israel? or have they no one to succeed [them]? therefore has Melchol inherited Galaad, and why shall their people dwell in their cities?
Ty tsara niheo am’Iirmeà boak’ am’ Iehovà, manao ty hoe:
2 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the Lord, when I will cause to be heard in Rabbath a tumult of wars; and they shall become a waste and ruined place, and her altars shall be burnt with fire; then shall Israel succeed to his dominion.
Inao ty nitsara’ Iehovà, Andrianañahare’ Israele: Sokiro am-boke ao ze hene tsara nitaroñeko ama’o.
3 Howl, O Esebon, for Gai has perished; cry, you daughters of Rabbath, gird yourselves with sackcloth, and lament; for Melchol shall go into banishment, his priests and his princes together.
Amy te ho tondroke ty andro, hoe t’Iehovà, te hafoteko ty fandrohiza’ ondatiko Israele naho Iehodao, hoe t’Iehovà; le hampoliko mb’amy tane natoloko aman-droae’ iareoy, vaho ho fanaña’ iareo.
4 Why do you exult in the plains of the Enakim, you haughty daughter, that trust in [your] treasures, that say, Who shall come in to me?
Le iretoañe o entañe nitsarae’ Iehova am’ Israele naho am’ Iehodao.
5 Behold, I [will] bring terror upon you, says the Lord, from all the country round about you; and you shall be scattered every one right before him, and there is none to gather you.
Hoe t’Iehovà: Toe nahajanjiñe feom-pihondrahondrañe, naho fangebahebañan-jahay, fa tsy fanintsiñañe.
6
Añontaneo henaneo, maharendreha hera misamake ty lahilahy; akore arè te treako mitam-pisafoa manahake ty rakemba mitsongo ondaty iabio, ie sindre miha-fosaposatse o laharañeo?
7
Hoy abey ty hara’elahi’ i àndroy, tsy añirinkiriñañe, ho andron-kankàñe am’Iakobe, f’ie ho rombaheñe ama’e.
8
Ho tondrok’ amy andro zay, hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, te hampipozaheko am-pititia’o ty joka’e, naho ho rafadrafateko o rohi’oo; vaho tsy hañondevo azo ka ty ambahiny;
9
fe songa hitoroñe Iehovà Andrianañahare’e naho i Davide mpanjaka’e, ie hampitroareko ho a iareo.
Aa le ko hemban-drehe ry Iakobe mpitoroko, hoe t’Iehovà; naho ko lonjetse, ry Israele; fa toe ho rombaheko boake tsietoitane añe, naho ty tiri’o boak’ an-tanem- pandrohizañe añe, le himpoly t’Iakobe naho hianjiñe naho hierañerañe, vaho tsy eo ty hañembañe aze.
Amy t’ie indrezako, hoe t’Iehovà, handrombahako; le ho fonga mongoreko o fifeheañe nampiparatsiahako azoo, fa tsy hampigadoñeko ka irehe; te mone ho lafaeko ami’ty hatò, vaho tsy ho rotsaheko ho mongotse.
Aa hoe t’Iehovà: Toe tsy lefe jangañeñe ty farare’o, vaho mahaferenaiñe o fere’oo.
Tsy eo ty mihalaly ho azo, hampibandiañe o naratseo, tsy amañ’aoly mahamelañ’ azo.
Songa nañaliño azo o sakeza’oo, tsy ipaia’iareo; fa vinonotroboko hoe zinevo’ ty rafelahy, ami’ty fandafam-pampisoañe; ami’ty hajabajaba’ o hakeo’oo ami’ty fitoabora’ o tahi’oo.
Ino ty ikoikoiha’o ty hasilofa’o, tsy mete mitotòtse o rare’oo, fa ty haloza’ o hakeo’oo, vaho ty hamaro’ o tahi’oo ty nanoako ama’o o raha rezao.
F’ie songa habotseke o mampibotsek’ azoo, naho o rafelahi’o iabio, sindre hasese am-pandrohizañe añe; naho ho fikopahañe o mikopak’ azoo, vaho fonga hatoloko ho tsindroheñe ze mitsàtsa azo.
Hampijangañeko, vaho ho melañeko o fere’oo, hoe t’Iehovà; amy te natao’ iareo añombe-lahy mavo irehe ami’ty hoe: Ty Tsione, ie tsy paia’ondatio.
Aa hoe t’Iehovà: Inao! hafoteko ty fandrohizañe o kiboho’ Iakobeo, naho ho ferenaiñeko o kivoho’eo; naho hamboareñe ambone’ i tamboho’ey i rovay, vaho hajadoñe amy toe’ey eo i anjombay.
Hiboak’am’iereo ty fañandriañañe, naho ty fiarañanaña’ o mifaleo; vaho hampitomboeko fa tsy haketrake, hampiraoraoeko iereo le tsy ho kede.
Hanahake te taolo o ana’eo, naho hioreñe aoloko eo ty valobohò’ iareo, vaho fonga ho liloveko ze mamorekeke iareo.
Ho raik’ am’iereo ty mpiaolo’ iareo, naho ho hirik’ am’iereo ao ty mpifehe’ iareo; naho hampañarineko amako re, toe ie ty hañarivo ahy; fa ia ty hahavany hitotok’ amako? hoe t’Iehovà.
Ho ondatiko nahareo, vaho ho Andrianañahare’ areo iraho.
23 CONCERNING DAMASCUS. Emath is brought to shame, and Arphath: for they have heard an evil report: they are amazed, they are angry, they shall be utterly unable to rest.
Heheke ty talio-lahi’ Iehovà, fa mionjoñe mb’eo ty filoroloroa’e, tangololahy mikafoakafoake; miviombio ami’ty loha’ o lo-tserekeo.
24 Damascus is utterly weakened, she is put to flight; trembling has seized upon her.
Tsy hibalike ty haviñerañe miforoforo’ Iehovà, ampara’ te nihenefe’e naho sikal’amy te fonitse i nisatrien’ arofo’ey; ho rendre’ areo izay amo andro honka’eo.
25 How has she not left my city, they have loved the village?
26 Therefore shall the young men fall in your streets, and all your warriors shall fall, says the Lord.
27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall devour the streets of the son of Ader.
28 CONCERNING KEDAR THE QUEEN OF THE PALACE, WHOM NABUCHODONOSOR KING OF BABYLON SMOTE, thus says the Lord; Arise you, and go up to Kedar, and fill the sons of Kedem.
29 They shall take their tents and their sheep, they shall take for themselves their garments, and all their baggage and their camels; and summon you destruction against them from every side.
30 Flee you, dig very deep for a dwelling-place, you that dwell in the palace; for the king of Babylon has framed a counsel, and devised a device against you.
31 Rise up, and go up against a nation settled [and] dwelling at ease, who have no doors, nor bolts, nor bars, [who] dwell alone.
32 And their camels shall be a spoil, and the multitude of their cattle shall be destroyed: and I will scatter them as chaff with every wind, having their hair cut about their foreheads, I will bring on their overthrow from all sides, says the Lord.
33 And the palace shall be a resting-place for ostriches, and desolate for ever: no man shall abide there, and no son of man shall dwell there.
