Jeremias 29
1 THUS SAITH THE LORD AGAINST THE PHILISTINES;
निर्वासितहरूका बिचमा बाँकी रहेका धर्म-गुरुहरू, पुजारीहरू, अगमवक्ताहरू र सबै मानिस जसलाई नबूकदनेसरले यरूशलेमबाट बेबिलोनमा निर्वासित गरेर लगेका थिए, तिनीहरूलाई यर्मिया अगमवक्ताले पठाएको मुट्ठोमा लिखित वचनहरू यी नै हुन् ।
2 Behold, waters come up from the north, and shall become a sweeping torrent, and it shall sweep away the land, and its fulness; the city, and them that dwell in it: and men shall cry and all that dwell in the land shall howl,
राजा यहोयाकीन, राजमाता, उच्च अधिकारीहरू, यहूदाका र यरूशलेमका अगुवाहरू र कारीगरहरू यरूशलेमबाट निर्वासनमा लगिएपछि यो वचन लेखियो ।
3 at the sound of his rushing, at [the sound of] his hoofs, and at the rattling of his chariots, at the noise of his wheels: the fathers turned not to their children because of the weakness of their hands,
तिनले यो मुट्ठो शापानका छोरा एलासा र हिल्कियाहका छोरा गमर्याहको हातबाट पठाएका थिए, जसलाई यहूदाका राजा सिदकियाहले बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसरकहाँ पठाएका थिए ।
4 in the day that is coming to destroy all the Philistines: and I will utterly destroy Tyre and Sidon and all the rest of their allies: for the Lord will destroy the remaining [inhabitants] of the islands.
मुट्ठामा यस्तो लेखियो, “मैले यरूशलेमबाट बेबिलोनमा निर्वासित गरेका सबै कैदीलाई, म, सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्छु,
5 Baldness is come upon Gaza; Ascalon is cast away, and the remnant of the Enakim.
'घरहरू बनाओ र तिनमा बस । बारीहरूमा बीउ रोप र तिनको फल खाओ ।
6 How long will you strike, O sword of the Lord? how long will it be ere you are quiet? return into your sheath, rest, and be removed.
बिहेबारी गर र छोराहरू र छोरीहरू जन्माओ । त्यसपछि आफ्ना छोराहरूका लागि पत्नीहरू ल्याओ, र आफ्ना छोरीहरू तिनीहरूका पतिहरूलाई देओ । तिनीहरूले छोराहरू र छोरीहरू जन्माऊन्, र त्यहाँ आफ्नो सङ्ख्या बढाओ, घटाउने होइन ।
7 How shall it be quiet, whereas the Lord has given it a commission against Ascalon, and against the regions on the sea-coast, to awake against the remaining [countries]! CONCERNING IDUMEA, thus says the Lord; There is no longer wisdom in Thaeman, counsel has perished from the wise ones, their wisdom is gone,
मैले तिमीहरूलाई जहाँ निर्वासित गरेको छु, त्यस सहरको शान्ति खोज, र यसको पक्षमा मलाई अन्तर-बिन्ती चढाओ, किनकि यो शान्तिमा रह्यो बने तिमीहरूलाई शान्ति हुनेछ ।'
8 their place has been deceived. Dig deep for a dwelling, you that inhabit Daedam, for he has wrought grievously: I brought trouble upon him in the time at which I visited him.
किनकि सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'तिमीहरूका बिचमा भएका अगमवक्ताहरू र जोखना हेर्नेहरूले तिमीहरूलाई धोका नदेऊन्, र तिमीहरू आफैले देखेका सपनाका कुराहरू नमान ।
9 For grape gatherers are come, who shall not leave you a remnant; as thieves by night, they shall lay their hand upon [your possessions].
किनकि तिनीहरूले मेरो नाउँमा तिमीहरूलाई छलको अगमवाणी बोल्दैछन् । मैले तिनीहरूलाई पठाइनँ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।'
10 For I have stripped Esau, I have uncovered their secret places; they shall have no power to hide themselves, they have perished [each] by the hand of his brother, my neighbour, and it is impossible
किनकि परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'बेबिलोनले तिमीहरूमाथि सत्तरी वर्षसम्म शासन गरिसकेपछि म तिमीहरूलाई मदत गर्नेछु, र तिमीहरूलाई यस ठाउँमा फर्काएर ल्याउछु भन्ने मेरो असल वचन पुरा गर्नेछु ।
11 for your fatherless one to be left to live, but I shall live, and the widows trust in me.
किनकि तिमीहरूका निम्ति मैले बनाएका योजनाहरू म जान्दछु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, तिमीहरूलाई एउटा भविष्य र आशा दिनलाई ती शान्तिका योजनाहरू हुन्, विपत्तिका होइनन् ।
12 For thus says the Lord; They who were not appointed to drink the cup have drunk [it]; and you shall by no means be cleared:
तब तिमीहरूले मलाई पुकार्नेछौ, र जानेछौ र मलाई प्रार्थना चढाउनेछौ, र म तिमीहरूको प्रार्थना सुन्नेछु ।
13 for by myself I have sworn, says the Lord, that you shall be in the midst of her an impassable [land], and a reproach, and a curse; and all her cities shall be desert for ever.
किनकि तिमीहरूले मलाई खोज्नेछौ र भेट्टाउनेछौ, किनभने तिमीहरूले मलाई आफ्ना सारा हृदयले खोज्नेछौ ।
14 I have heard a report from the Lord, and he has sent messengers to the nations, [saying, ]Assemble yourselves, and come against her; rise you up to war.
तब तिमीहरूले मलाई भेट्टाइनेछौ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, र म तिमीहरूका सुदिन फर्काउनेछु । मैले तिमीहरूलाई छरपष्ट पारेका सबै जाति र ठाउँहरूबाट म तिमीहरूलाई जम्मा गर्नेछु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, मैले तिमीहरूलाई जुन ठाउँबाट निर्वासित गरें, त्यहाँबाट म तिमीहरूलाई फर्काएर ल्याउनेछु ।'
15 I have made you small amongst the nations, utterly contemptible amongst men.
परमेश्वरले हाम्रा निम्ति बेबिलोनमा नै अगमवक्ताहरू खडा गर्नुभएको छ भनी तिमीहरूले भनेकको हुनाले,
16 Your insolence has risen up against you, the fierceness of your heart has burst the holes of the rocks, it has seized upon the strength of a lofty hill; for as an eagle he set his nest on high: thence will I bring you down.
दाऊदको सिंहासनमा बस्ने राजा र त्यस सहरमा बसोबास गरेका सबै मानिसलाई परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, तिमीहरूका दाजुभाइ जो तिमीहरूसँग निर्वासनमा गएका छैनन्—
17 And Idumea shall be a desert: every one that passes by shall hiss at it.
हेर, तिनीहरूकहाँ मैले तरवार, अनिकाल र विपत्ति ल्याउनै लागेको छु, सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ । किनकि म तिनीहरूलाई कुहेका अञ्जीरहरूजस्तै तुल्याउनेछु जुन खानलाई असाध्ये खराब हुन्छन् ।
18 As Sodom was overthrown and Gomorrha and they that sojourned in her, says the Lord Almighty, no man shall dwell there, nor shall any son of man inhabit there.
त्यसपछि म तिनीहरूलाई तरवार, अनिकाल र विपत्तिले खेद्नेछु, अनि म तिनीहरूलाई पृथ्वीका सबै राज्यमा घृणाको दृश्य, मैले तिनीहरूलाई छरपष्ट पारेका सबै जातिका बिचमा तिनीहरूलाई त्रास, सराप र गिल्लाको पात्र र लाजका कुरा बनाउनेछु ।
19 Behold, he shall come up as a lion out of the midst of Jordan to the place of Aetham: for I will speedily drive them from it, and do you set the young men against her: for who is like me? and who will withstand me? and who [is] this shepherd, who shall confront me?
तिनीहरूकहाँ मेरा दासहरू र अगमवक्ताहरूमार्फत मैले पठाएको मेरो वचन तिनीहरूले नसुनेको कारणले यसो हुनेछ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो । मैले तिनीहरूलाई पटक-पटक पठाएँ, तर तिमीहरूले सुनेनौ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।'
20 Therefore hear you the counsel of the Lord, which he has framed against Idumea; and his device, which he has devised against the inhabitants of Thaeman: surely the least of the sheep shall be swept off; surely their dwelling shall be made desolate for them.
त्यसैले हे सबै निर्वासितहरू हो, जसलाई उहाँले यरूशलेमबाट बेबिलोनमा पठाउनुभएको छ, तिमीहरू आफूले भने परमप्रभुको वचन सुन ।
21 For at the sound of their fall the earth was scared, and the cry of the sea was not heard.
'कोलायाहका छोरा आहाब र मासेयाहका छोरा सिदकियाह, जसले मेरो नाउँमा तिमीहरूलाई झूटा अगमवाणी बोल्छन्, हेर्, तिनीहरूको विषयमा सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः मैले तिनीहरूलाई बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसरको हातमा दिनै लागेको छु । उसले तिनीहरूलाई तिमीहरूकै आँखाको सामु मार्नेछ ।
22 Behold, he shall look [upon her] as an eagle, and spread forth [his] wings over her strongholds; and the heart of the mighty men of Idumea shall be in that day as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
त्यसपछि बेबिलोनमा भएका यहूदाका सबै निर्वासितद्वारा यी व्यक्तिहरूको बारेमा सरापको वचन बोलिनेछ । सराप यस्तो हुनेछ, 'परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई सिदकियाह र आहाबजस्तै बनाऊन्, जसलाई बेबिलोनका राजाले आगोमा पोलेका थिए ।
तिनीहरूले आफ्ना छिमेकीहरूका पत्नीहरूसित व्यभिचार गरेर अनि मैले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नलाई कहिल्यै आज्ञा नगरेका झूटा कुराहरू मेरो नाउँमा घोषणा गरेर, तिनीहरूले इस्राएलमा गरेका लज्जित कुराहरूका कारणले यस्तो हुनेछ । किनकि मलाई यो कुरा थाहा छ, र म साक्षी हुँ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
नेहेलामवासी शमायाह बारेमा यसो भन्,
“सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'यरूशलेमका सबै मानिस, पुजारी मासेयाहका छोरा सपन्याह र सबै पुजारीलाई तेरो आफ्नै नाउँमा चिट्ठीहरू लेखेर यसो भनिस्,
'पुजारी यहोयादाको सट्टामा परमप्रभुले तिमीलाई परमप्रभुको मन्दिरको जिम्मा लिन पुजारी बनाउनुभएको छ । तिमी बरबराएर आफैलाई अगमवक्ताहरू बनाउने सबै मानिसको नियन्त्रणमा छौ । तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई साङ्लाले बाँधेर ठिंगुरोमा हाल्नू ।
त्यसैले अब, तिम्रो विरुद्धमा आफैलाई अगमवक्ता बनाउने अनातोतको यर्मियालाई किन हप्काएनौ?
किनकि बेबिलोनमा उसले हामीलाई यस्तो चिट्ठी पठाएको छ र भनेको छ, 'निर्वासन लामो समयसम्म हुनेछ । घरहरू बनाओ र तिनमा बस, र खेतबारीमा बीउ रोप र तिनको फल खाओ' ।”
यर्मिया अगमवक्ताले सुन्ने गरी पुजारी सपन्याहले यो पत्र पढे ।
तब परमप्रभुको वचन यर्मियाकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
“सबै निर्वासितकहाँ यो खबर पठा र यसो भन्, 'नेहेलामवासी शमायाहको विषयमा परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छः म आफैले शमायाहलाई नपठाउँदा पनि उसले तिमीहरूलाई अगमवाणी बोलेको र उसले तिमीहरूलाई झूटा कुराहरूमा विश्वास गर्न डोर्याएको छ,
त्यसकारण परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छः नेहेलामवासी शमायाह र त्यसका सन्तानहरूलाई मैले दण्ड दिनै लागेको छु । यस जातिको बिचमा बस्न त्यसको लागि कुनै मानिस हुनेछैन । मैले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई गर्ने भलाइ त्यसले देख्नेछैन, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, किनकि उसले परमप्रभुको विरुद्धमा विद्रोहको घोषणा गरेको छ' ।”
