< Jeremias 25 >
1 THE WORD THAT CAME TO JEREMIAS concerning all the people of Juda in the fourth year of Joakim, son of Josias, king of Juda;
Asɛm a ɛfa Yudafoɔ nyinaa ho baa Yeremia nkyɛn wɔ Yudahene Yosia babarima Yehoiakim, adedie afe a ɛtɔ so ɛnan a ɛyɛ Babiloniahene Nebukadnessar adedie afe a ɛdi ɛkan.
2 which he spoke to all the people of Juda, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
Enti odiyifoɔ Yeremia ka kyerɛɛ Yudafoɔ ne wɔn a wɔtete Yerusalem nyinaa sɛ,
3 In the thirteenth year of Josias, son of Amos, king of Juda, even until this day for three and twenty years, I have both spoken to you, rising early and speaking,
Mfeɛ aduonu mmiɛnsa nie, ɛfiri Yudahene Amon babarima Yosia adedie afe a ɛtɔ so dumiɛnsa bɛsi ɛnnɛ, Awurade asɛm aba me so na makasa akyerɛ mo mpɛn bebree, nanso monntieɛ.
4 and I sent to you my servants the prophets, sending them early; (but you listened not, and listened not with your ears; ) saying,
Mpo Awurade asoma nʼasomfoɔ a wɔyɛ nʼadiyifoɔ aba mo nkyɛn mpɛn bebree, na montiee wɔn, na monyɛɛ aso mmaa wɔn.
5 Turn you every one from his evil way, and from your evil practices, and you shall dwell in the land which I gave to you and your fathers, of old and for ever.
Wɔkaa sɛ, “Mo mu biara mfiri nʼakwan bɔne ne ne nneyɛɛ bɔne ho, na mobɛtumi atena asase a Awurade de maa mo ne mo agyanom no so afebɔɔ.
6 Go you not after strange gods, to serve them, and to worship them, that you provoke me not by the works of your hands, to do you hurt.
Monni anyame foforɔ akyi nkɔsom wɔn nsɔre wɔn; mommfa deɛ mode mo nsa ayɛ no nhyɛ me abufuo. Afei merenha mo.”
7 But you listened not to me.
“Nanso moanntie me,” Awurade na ɔseɛ, “na mode deɛ mode mo nsa ayɛ ahyɛ me abufuo, na mode ɔhaw aba mo so.”
8 Therefore thus says the Lord; Since you believed not my words,
Afei deɛ Asafo Awurade seɛ nie: “Esiane sɛ moantie me nsɛm no enti,
9 behold I [will] send and take a family from the north, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants of it, and against all the nations round about it, and I will make them utterly waste, and make them a desolation, and a hissing, and an everlasting reproach.
10 And I will destroy from [amongst] them the voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the scent of ointment, and the light of a candle.
Mɛyi ahosane ne anigyeɛ nnyegyeɛ, ayeforɔkunu ne ayeforɔyere nne, oyuyammoɔ nnyegyeeɛ ne kanea hann afiri wɔn mu.
11 And all the land shall be a desolation; and they shall serve amongst the Gentiles seventy years.
Ɔman mu no nyinaa bɛdane asase wesee, na saa amanaman yi bɛsom Babiloniahene mfirinhyia aduɔson.
12 And when the seventy years are fulfilled, I will take vengeance on that nation, and will make them a perpetual desolation.
“Na mfirinhyia aduɔson awieeɛ no, mɛtwe Babiloniahene ne ne ɔman, Babiloniafoɔ asase aso wɔ wɔn amumuyɛ ho, mɛdane no amanfo afebɔɔ,” sɛdeɛ Awurade seɛ nie.
13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have spoken against it, [even] all things that are written in this book.
“Mɛma asotwe a mahyɛ atia asase no nyinaa aba wɔn so, deɛ wɔatwerɛ wɔ nwoma yi mu na Yeremia ahyɛ ho nkɔm atia aman no nyinaa no.
Wɔn ankasa deɛ, amanaman bebree ne ahempɔn de wɔn bɛyɛ nkoa; na mɛtua wɔn nneyɛeɛ ne wɔn nsa ano adwuma so ka.”
Yei ne deɛ Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn, ka kyerɛɛ me: “Gye saa kuruwa yi a mʼabufuhyeɛ nsã ahyɛ no ma yi, na ma amanaman a mɛsoma wo wɔn nkyɛn no nyinaa nnom.

“Afei, hyɛ nsɛm yi nyinaa ho nkɔm tia wɔn, na ka kyerɛ wɔn sɛ, “‘Awurade bɛfiri soro abobom; ɔbɛma ne nne so afiri ne tenabea kronkron hɔ, na wabobɔ mu denden atia nʼasase. Ɔbɛteam te sɛ wɔn a wɔtiatia bobe aba so, ɔbɛteam agu wɔn a wɔtete asase no so.

34 THE PROPHECIES OF JEREMIAS AGAINST THE NATIONS OF AeLAM.
35 Thus says the Lord, The bow of Aelam is broken, [even] the chief of their power.
Nnwanhwɛfoɔ no rennya baabiara nnwane nkɔ na nnwankuo no ntuanofoɔ no rennya ɛkwan nnwane.
36 And I will bring upon Aelam the four winds from the four corners of heaven, and I will disperse them towards all these winds; and there shall be no nation [to] which they shall not come—[even] the outcasts of Aelam.
Montie nnwanhwɛfoɔ no su, ne nnwankuo no ntuanofoɔ agyaadwotwa, ɛfiri sɛ Awurade resɛe wɔn mmoa adidibea.
37 And I will put them in fear before their enemies that seek their life; and I will bring evils upon them according to my great anger; and I will send forth my sword after them, until I have utterly destroyed them.
Ɛserɛ nsase a asomdwoeɛ wɔ soɔ no bɛda mpan ɛsiane Awurade abufuhyeɛ no enti.
38 And I will set my throne in Aelam, and will send forth thence king and rulers.
Na wɔn asase bɛda mpan te sɛ gyata a ɔfiri ne tu mu ɛsiane ɔhyɛsofoɔ no akofena ne Awurade abufuhyeɛ no enti.
39 But it shall come to pass at the end of days, that I will turn the captivity of Aelam, says the Lord.
