Esias 60
1 Be enlightened, be enlightened, O Jerusalem, for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
उठ्, प्रकाशमान् हो, किनकि तेरो प्रकाश आएको छ र परमप्रभुको महिमा तँमाथि उदाएको छ ।
2 Behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and [there shall be] gross darkness on the nations: but the Lord shall appear upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.
पृथ्वीलाई अँध्यारोले र जातिहरूलाई बाक्लो अँध्यारोले ढाके तापनि, परमप्रभु तँमाथि उदाउनुहुनेछ र उहाँको महिमा तँमा देखिनेछ ।
3 And kings shall walk in your light, and nations in your brightness.
जातिहरू तेरो प्रकाशमा आउनेछन् र राजाहरू उदाउँदै गरेको तेरो चहकिलो प्रकाशमा आउनेछन् ।
4 Lift up your eyes round about, and behold your children gathered: all your sons have come from far, and your daughters shall be borne on [men's] shoulders.
वरिपरि चारैतिर हेर् र देख् । तिनीहरू सबै आफै भेला हुन्छन् र तँकहाँ आउँछन् । तेरा छोराहरू टाढाबाट आउनेछन् र तिनीहरूका हातले तेरी छोरीहरूलाई बोकेर ल्याउनेछन् ।
5 Then shall you see, and fear, and be amazed in your heart; for the wealth of the sea shall come round to you, and of nations and peoples; and herds of camels shall come to you,
तब तैंले हेर्नेछस्, प्रज्वलित हुनेछस्, तेरो हृदय आनन्दित हुनेछ र भरिएर पोखिनेछ, किनभने समुद्रको प्रशस्तता तँलाई खन्याइनेछ र जातिहरूका सम्पत्ति तँकहाँ आउनेछन् ।
6 and the camels of Madiam and Gaepha shall cover you: all from Saba shall come bearing gold, and shall bring frankincense, and they shall publish the salvation of the Lord.
ऊँटका बथानहरू, मिद्यान र एपाका सवार गर्ने ऊँटहरूले तँलाई ढाक्नेछन् । ती सबै शेबाबाट आउनेछन् । तिनीहरूले सुन र धूप ल्याउनेछन् र परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गाउनेछन् ।
7 And all the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered, and the rams of Nabaeoth shall come; and acceptable sacrifices shall be offered on my altar, and my house of prayer shall be glorified.
केदारका सबै भेडाबाख्रालाई तँकहाँ जम्मा पारिनेछन् । नबायोतका भेडाहरूले तेरो आवश्यक्ता पुरा गर्नेछन् । तिनीहरू मेरो वेदीमा स्वीकारयोग्य बलिदान हुनेछन् । अनि आफ्नो महिमित भवनलाई म महिमित बनाउनेछु ।
8 Who are these [that] fly as clouds, and as doves with young ones to me?
बादलझैं र ढुकुरहरू आफ्ना गुँडहरूमा गएझैं उड्ने यी को हुन्?
9 The isles have waited for me, and the ships of Tharsis amongst the first, to bring your children from afar, and their silver and their gold with them, and [that] for the sake of the holy name of the Lord, and because the Holy One of Israel is glorified.
समुद्र किनारहरूले मेरो खोजी गर्छन् । टाढाबाट परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर र इस्राएलका परमपवित्रको निम्ति तिमीहरूका छोराहरूलाई आफूसँग भएका सुन र चाँदीसँगै ल्याउनलाई तर्शीशका जहाजहरूले नेतृत्व गर्छन्, किनभने उहाँले तँलाई इज्जत गर्नुभएको छ ।
10 And strangers shall build your walls, and their kings shall wait upon you: for by reason of my wrath I struck you, and by reason of mercy I loved you.
विदेशीहरूका छोराहरूले तेरा पर्खालहरू पुनःनिर्माण गर्नेछन् र तिनीहरूका राजाहरूले तेरो सेवा गर्नेछन् । मेरो क्रोधमा मैले तँलाई दण्ड दिए तापनि मेरो कृपामा म तँलाई दया देखाउनेछु ।
11 And your gates shall be opened continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; to bring in to you the power of the Gentiles, and their kings as captives.
तेरा ढोकाहरू पनि निरन्तर रूपमा खुला रहनेछ । ती दिन वा रात कहिल्यै बन्द गरिनेछैन, ताकि जातिहरूका सम्पत्ति तिनीहरूका राजाहरूलाई अगि राखेर ल्याउन सकियोस् ।
12 For the nations and the kings which will not serve you shall perish; and those nations shall be made utterly desolate.
वास्तवमा, तेरो सेवा नगर्ने जातिहरू र राज्यहरू नाश हुनेछन् । ती जातिहरू पुर्ण रूपमा नष्ट पारिनेछ ।
13 And the glory of Libanus shall come to you, with the cypress, and pine, and cedar together, to glorify my holy place.
लेबनानको महिमा तँकहा आउनेछ । सल्लो र धूपीका रूखहरू मेरो पवित्रस्थानलाई सुन्दर बनाउन आउनेछन् । अनि म मेरो पाउ राख्ने ठाउँलाई महिमित तुल्याउनेछु ।
14 And the sons of them that afflicted you, and of them that provoked you, shall come to you in fear; and you shall be called Sion, the city of the Holy One of Israel.
तँलाई तुच्छ पार्नेहरूका छोराहरू तँलाई दण्डवत गर्न आउनेछन् । तिनीहरूले तेरा पाउ ढोग्नेछन् । तिनीहरूले तँलाई परमप्रभुको सहर अर्थात् इस्राएलको परमपवित्रको सियोन भन्नेछन् ।
15 Because you has become desolate and hated, and there was no helper, therefore I will make you a perpetual gladness, a joy of many generations.
तँबाट भएर कोही नहिंड्ने गरी त्यागिएको र घृणा गरिएको अवस्थामा रहनुको साटोमा, म तँलाई सदाको निम्ति गौरवको वस्तु, पुस्तादेखि पुस्तासम्मको निम्ति आनन्द बनाउनेछु ।
16 And you shall suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shall eat the wealth of kings: and shall know that I am the Lord that saves you and delivers you, the Holy One of Israel.
तैंले जातिहरूको दूध पनि पिउनेछस् र राजहरूका दूध कानेछस् । म, परमप्रभु नै तेरो उद्धारक र मुक्तिदाता, याकूबको शक्तिशाली हुँ भन्ने तैंले जान्नेछस् ।
17 And for brass I will bring you gold, and for iron I will bring you silver, and instead of wood I will bring you brass, and instead of stones, iron; and I will make your princes peaceful, and your overseers righteous.
काँसाको सट्टामा म सुन ल्याउनेछु, फलामको सट्टामा म चाँदी ल्याउनेछु । काठको साटो काँसा र ढङ्गाको साटो फलाम ल्याउनेछु । शन्तिलाई म तेरो गभर्नर र न्यायलाई तेरो शासक नियुक्त गर्नेछु ।
18 And injustice shall no more be heard in your land, nor destruction nor misery in your coasts; but your walls shall be called Salvation, and your gates Sculptured Work.
तेरो देशमा हिंसा कदापि सुनिनेछैन, न त तेरो सिमानाभित्र विध्वांस वा तोडफोड सुनिनेछ, तर तैंले तेरा पर्खालहरूलाई मुक्ति र तेरा ढोकाहरूलाई प्रशंसा भन्नेछस् ।
19 And you shall no more have the sun for a light by day, nor shall the rising of the moon lighten your night; but the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and God your glory.
सूर्य दिनमा तेरो प्रकाश हुनेछैन, न त चन्द्रमाको उज्यालो तँमाथि चम्किनेछ । तर परमप्रभु नै तेरो अनन्तको प्रकाश र तेरो परमेश्वर नै तेरो महिमा हुनुहुनेछ ।
20 For the sun shall no more set, nor shall the moon be eclipsed; for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be completed.
तेरो सूर्य कहिल्यै अस्ताउनेछैन, न त तेरो चन्द्रमा पछि हट्ने र लोप हुनेछ । किनकि परमप्रभु नै तेरो अनन्तको प्रकाश हुनुहुनेछ र तेरा शोकका दिनहरू समाप्त हुनेछन् ।
21 Your people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, preserving that which they have planted, [even] the works of their hands, for glory.
तेरा सबै मानिस धर्मी हुनेछन् । तिनीहरूले सदाको निम्ति देश अधिकार गर्नेछन् । म महिमित हुन सकूँ भनेर ती मैले रोपेका बिरुवाका हाँगा र मेरा हातका काम हुन् ।
22 The little one shall become thousands, and the least a great nation; I the Lord will gather them in [due] time.
थोरैचाहिं एक हजार हुनेछ, सानो एउटा पनि बलियो जाति हुनेछ । जब समय आउँछ, तब म, परमप्रभुले यी कुराहरू चाँडै नै पुरा गर्नेछु ।
