Esias 59

1 Has the hand of the Lord no power to save? or has he made his ear heavy, so that he should not hear?

۱ هان دست خداوند کوتاه نیست تانرهاند و گوش او سنگین نی تا نشنود.

2 Nay, your iniquities separate between you and God, and because of your sins has he turned away [his] face from you, so as not to have mercy [upon you].

۲ لیکن خطایای شما در میان شما و خدای شماحایل شده است و گناهان شما روی او را از شماپوشانیده است تا نشنود.

3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with sins; your lips also have spoken iniquity, and your tongue meditates unrighteousness.

۳ زیرا که دستهای شمابه خون و انگشتهای شما به شرارت آلوده شده است. لبهای شما به دروغ تکلم می‌نماید وزبانهای شما به شرارت تنطق می‌کند.

4 None speaks justly, neither is there true judgement: they trust in vanities, and speak empty [words]; for they conceive trouble, and bring forth iniquity.

۴ احدی به عدالت دعوی نمی کند و هیچکس به راستی داوری نمی نماید. به بطالت توکل دارند و به دروغ تکلم می‌نمایند. به ظلم حامله شده، شرارت رامی زایند.

5 They have hatched asps' eggs, and weave a spider's web: and he that is going to eat of their eggs, having crushed an addled egg, has found also in it a basilisk.

۵ از تخمهای افعی بچه برمی آورند وپرده عنکبوت می‌بافند. هرکه از تخمهای ایشان بخورد می‌میرد و آن چون شکسته گردد افعی بیرون می‌آید.

6 Their web shall not become a garment, nor shall they at all clothe themselves with their works; for their works are works of iniquity.

۶ پرده های ایشان لباس نخواهدشد و خویشتن را از اعمال خود نخواهند پوشانیدزیرا که اعمال ایشان اعمال شرارت است و عمل ظلم در دستهای ایشان است.

7 And their feet run to wickedness, swift to shed blood; their thoughts also are thoughts of murder; destruction and misery are in their ways;

۷ پایهای ایشان برای بدی دوان و به جهت ریختن خون بی‌گناهان شتابان است. افکار ایشان افکار شرارت است ودر راههای ایشان ویرانی و خرابی است.

8 and the way of peace they know not, neither is there judgement in their ways; for their paths by which they go are crooked, and they know not peace.

۸ طریق سلامتی را نمی دانند و در راههای ایشان انصاف نیست. جاده های کج برای خود ساخته‌اند و هر‌که در آنها سالک باشد سلامتی را نخواهد دانست.

9 Therefore has judgement departed from them, and righteousness shall not overtake them: while they waited for light, darkness came upon them; while they waited for brightness, they walked in perplexity.

۹ بنابراین انصاف از ما دور شده است و عدالت به ما نمی رسد. انتظار نور می‌کشیم و اینک ظلمت است و منتظر روشنایی هستیم اما در تاریکی غلیظ سالک می‌باشیم.

10 They shall feel for the wall as blind [men], and shall feel [for it] as if they had no eyes: and they shall feel at noon-day as at midnight; they shall groan as dying men.

۱۰ و مثل کوران برای دیوار تلمس می‌نماییم و مانند بی‌چشمان کورانه راه می‌رویم. در وقت ظهر مثل شام لغزش می‌خوریم و در میان تندرستان مانند مردگانیم.

11 They shall proceed together as a bear and as a dove: we have waited for judgement, and there is no salvation, it is gone far from us.

۱۱ جمیع ما مثل خرسها صدا می‌کنیم و مانندفاخته‌ها ناله می‌نماییم، برای انصاف انتظارمی کشیم و نیست و برای نجات و از ما دورمی شود.

12 For our iniquity is great before you, and our sins have risen up against us: for our iniquities are in us, and we know our unrighteous deeds.

۱۲ زیرا که خطایای ما به حضور تو بسیار شده و گناهان ما به ضد ما شهادت می‌دهد چونکه خطایای ما با ما است و گناهان خود را می‌دانیم.

13 We have sinned, and dealt falsely, and revolted from our God: we have spoken unrighteous words, and have been disobedient; we have conceived and uttered from our heart unrighteous words.

۱۳ مرتد شده، خداوند را انکار نمودیم. از پیروی خدای خود انحراف ورزیدیم به ظلم و فتنه تکلم کردیم و به سخنان کذب حامله شده، از دل آنها راتنطق نمودیم.

14 And we have turned judgement back, and righteousness has departed afar off: for truth is consumed in their ways, and they could not pass by a straight [path].

۱۴ و انصاف به عقب رانده شده وعدالت از ما دور ایستاده است زیرا که راستی درکوچه‌ها افتاده است و استقامت نمی تواند داخل شود.

15 And truth has been taken away, and they have turned aside [their] mind from understanding. And the Lord saw it, and it pleased him not that there was no judgement.

۱۵ و راستی مفقود شده است و هر‌که ازبدی اجتناب نماید خود را به یغما می‌سپارد. وچون خداوند این را دید در نظر او بد آمد که انصاف وجود نداشت.

16 And he looked, and there was no man, and he observed, and there was none to help: so he defended them with his arm, and established [them] with [his] mercy.

۱۶ و او دید که کسی نبود وتعجب نمود که شفاعت کننده‌ای وجود نداشت از این جهت بازوی وی برای او نجات آورد وعدالت او وی را دستگیری نمود.

17 And he put on righteousness as a breast-plate, and placed the helmet of salvation on his head; and he clothed himself with the garment of vengeance, and with his cloak,

۱۷ پس عدالت را مثل زره پوشید و خود نجات را بر سر خویش نهاد. و جامه انتقام را به‌جای لباس در بر کرد وغیرت را مثل ردا پوشید.

18 as one about to render a recompence, [even] reproach to his adversaries.

۱۸ بر وفق اعمال ایشان، ایشان را جزا خواهد داد. به خصمان خود حدت خشم را و به دشمنان خویش مکافات و به جزایرپاداش را خواهد رسانید.

19 So shall they of the west fear the name of the Lord, and they [that come] from the rising of the sun his glorious name: for the wrath of the Lord shall come as a mighty river, it shall come with fury.

۱۹ و از طرف مغرب ازنام یهوه و از طلوع آفتاب از جلال وی خواهندترسید زیرا که او مثل نهر سرشاری که باد خداوندآن را براند خواهد آمد.

20 And the deliverer shall come for Sion's sake, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

۲۰ و خداوند می‌گوید که نجات‌دهنده‌ای برای صهیون و برای آنانی که دریعقوب از معصیت بازگشت نمایند خواهد آمد.

21 And this shall be my covenant with them, said the Lord; My Spirit which is upon you, and the words which I have put in your mouth, shall never fail from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your seed, for the Lord has spoken it, henceforth and for ever.

۲۱ و خداوند می‌گوید: «اما عهد من با ایشان این است که روح من که بر تو است و کلام من که دردهان تو گذاشته‌ام از دهان تو و از دهان ذریت تو واز دهان ذریت ذریت تو دور نخواهد شد.» خداوند می‌گوید: «از الان و تا ابدالاباد.»
