< Esias 40 >
1 Comfort you, comfort you my people, says God.
Lhamong uvin, lhamong uvin kamite, tin na Pathen’uvin aseije.
2 Speak, you priests, to the heart of Jerusalem; comfort her, for her humiliation is accomplished, her sin is put away: for she has received of the Lord's hand double [the amount of] her sins.
Jerusalem chu lungset neijin kihou piuvin. Alungkham nau nikho sung kichaiya ahitai, chule achonset nau kingaidama ahitai, tin seipeh’uvin. Achonset nau jeh in achan dingu ajat nia engbolna kipeuva ahitai.
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make straight the paths of our God.
Ngaipha’n, tin khosam khat aw chun, “Pakai hungna dingin gamthip gam chu sutheng uvin! I Pathen dinguvin lam lhongpi chu sem jangun” tin aseije!
4 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low: and all the crooked [ways] shall become straight, and the rough [places] plains.
Gomkom laiho dip dimun, chule mol le lhangho sunem uvin. Lamkon laiho jansah’uvin, chule abohlaiho ladoh’un.
5 And the glory of the Lord shall appear, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God: for the Lord has spoken [it].
Chuteng leh Pakai loupina chu hung kilangin tin, hichu mi jousen amusoh kei dingu ahi, tin Pakaiyin aseije.
6 The voice of one saying, Cry; and I said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass:
Aw hung ging chun khosam’in, ati. Keiman, “Ipi kasap ding ham”? tia kadoh le, mihem ho hampa bangbep ahiuve, chule amel hoinau jong hi loujaova hampa pah banga kemloi jeng thei ahi, tin samin eiti.

8 The grass withers, and the flower fades: but the word of our God abides for ever.
Hampa agop jin chule apah jong chu amolha jin, hinla I Pathen’u Thuhi tonsotna umjing ahije.
9 O you that bring glad tidings to Zion, go up on the high mountain; lift up your voice with strength, you that bring glad tidings to Jerusalem; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Juda, Behold your God!
O Zion, Kipana Thupha pole, mol chung vum hoa kon’in samin! Hasap in sam’in, Vo Jerusalem. Kichatna neilou hellin, Judah khotinna, ‘Na Pathen hung ding ahitai,’ tin seipeh in.
10 Behold the Lord! The Lord is coming with strength, and [his] arm is with power: behold, his reward is with him, and [his] work before him.
Ahije, thanei pen Pakai thuneitah in ahunge. Ama’n aban’jang thahatna vai ahinpoh ding ahi. Ven, Ama ahung tengleh tohman ahin choipeh ding ahije.
11 He shall tend his flock as a shepherd, and he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and shall soothe them that are with young.
Aman kelngoi’chingpa tobanga kelngoiho chu avah ding; Aman anou ho chu abanna akipom ding, a opma akipom ding ahi. Aman kelpi ho chu anoute to olcha cha apuiji ding ahi.
12 Who has measured the water in his hand, and the heaven with a span, and all the earth in a handful? Who has weighed the mountains in scales, and the forests in a balance?
A khutna twikhanglen ho tuh jou dinga koidang umem? Akhut jung hoa vanho tetoh jou ding koi umem? Koi dangin leiset agihdan hetna aneija, ahilouleh mole lhangho Phala a tetoh thei ding koi hin tem?
13 Who has known the mind of the Lord? and who has been his counsellor, to instruct him?
Pakai Lhagao thumop ngam ding koi hija? Ama thumopma ahiloule ahil dinga koi hin tem?
14 Or with whom has he taken counsel, and he has instructed him? or who has taught him judgement, or who has taught him the way of understanding;
Pakaijin athumop ding mi angaichat khah em? Apha ahi ti ahetna dinga hil ngai ja ham? Mi khat touvin apha aseipeh ngai hija, ahiloule adih’a chena ding lampi ama avetsah ding ham?
15 since all the nations are counted as a drop from a bucket, and as the turning of a balance, [and] shall be counted as spittle?
Hilouve, ajeh chu vannoi chitin-namtin hi Ama dia twithei’a twi vatkhat tobangbep ahiuve. Mihem tehi thiltena ho chunga vutvai tobangbep bou ahiuve. Ama ding’in leiset pumpi hi akhutna nel hal khat alah tobangbep ahi.
16 And Libanus is not enough to burn, nor all beasts enough for a whole burnt offering:
Lebanon gam manga thingho jouse le Lebanon’a gamsa umho jouse chu I Pathen’u henga govam thilto dinga jong bulhing jou lou ding ahiuve.
17 and all the nations are as nothing, and counted as nothing.
Vannoija chitin- namtin hohi Ama mitmua pan nabei bep bou ahiuve. Ama mitmua imacha hilouhel, imacha lou- ahomkeo le panabei bep ahi.
18 To whom have you compared the Lord? and with what likeness have you compared him?
Pathen hi koito natekah thei hija ham? Ama to kilou ding amel pua namu khah em?
19 Has not the artificer made an image, or the goldsmith having melted gold, gilt it over, [and] made it a similitude?
Ama chu milim kisem thua sana’a kilhajol le dangka khivuija kijem to tekah thei ahi dem?
20 For the artificer chooses out a wood that will not rot, and will wisely enquire how he shall set up his image, and [that so] that it should not be moved.
Ahilouleh miho chu chuti loma vaicha ahiuleh, amon lou ding thing kilhenu hen chule akhut them khatnin adet dingin milim hinsem doh hen!
21 Will you not know? will you not hear? has it not been told you of old? Have you not known the foundations of the earth?
Nanghon najah khah louvu hija? Hekhen them theilou nahiu vem? Pathen Thu angaisah lou mong nahiu vem- vannoi um masang peh’a thuho napeh’u hi ahetna helou mong nahiu vem?
22 [It is] he that comprehends the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants in it are as grasshoppers; he that set up the heaven as a chamber, and stretched [it] out as a tent to dwell in:
Pathen chu leiset kikol lum chunga atouve. Amit mun noi lama um mihem te hi khaukho ho tobangbep ahiuve! Ama’n van tham jol hi pondal tobanga ahin jahdoh in, chule hiche hoa konna Ama’n aponbuh atundoh ahije.
23 he that appoints princes to rule as nothing, and has made the earth as nothing.
Aman vannoi ja alen alal ho achungthu’u atan ding chule abon’uva hi imalou aso ding ahi.
24 For they shall not plant, neither shall they sow, neither shall their root be fixed in the ground: he has blown upon them, and they are withered, and a storm shall carry them away like sticks.
Amaho hung kipan panbep’uva, jungkho kigopan bep’uva ahin, Aman amaho ahua asem’a ahileh agop lha gam tauvin, huijin amaho chu changvai alhoh bangin alhoh mangtai.
25 Now then to whom have you compared me, that I may be exalted? says the Holy One.
Koito neite kahthei monguva? Koi kakibahpi um'em? Tin Athenga kitipa chun aseije.
26 Lift up your eyes on high, and see, who has displayed all these things? [even] he that brings forth his host by number: he shall call them all by name by [means of his] great glory, and by the power of his might: nothing has escaped you.
Vanho vetem’in. Ahsiho jouse khu koi sem hin tem? Ama’n amaho khu galmi bangin bannei chan ahin goldoh in, amin cheh’uva akousoh keije. Athuneina loupi jallin chule ate pibei thahatna nei ahijeh'in, khat cha jong amah thah aumpoi.
27 For say not you, O Jacob, and why have you spoken, Israel, [saying], My way is hid from God, and my God has taken away [my] judgement, and has departed?
Vo Jacob, iti danna Pakai hin nagim-hesohna ho amupoi tia naseithei hijaham? Vo Israel, iti danna Pakai hin nachan ding kihetmo sah dia nasei thei hija ham?
28 And now, have you not known? have you not heard? the eternal God, the God that formed the ends of the earth, shall not hunger, nor be weary, and there is no searching of his understanding.
Najah khah lou hel hiya ha? Nahet khen theilou hel hiya ham? Pakai hi Tonsotna um Pathen ahin, vannoi apumpia Sempa ahi. Ama thabei jin aum ngaipon, ahilouleh athachol ngaipoi. Athil hetkhen themdan koiman akholdoh joupoi.
29 He gives strength to the hungry, and sorrow to them that are not suffering.
Aman athalhoma thahat apei chule thilbol joulou di chu boltheina tha apei.
30 For the young [men] shall hunger, and the youths shall be weary, and the choice [men] shall be powerless:
Khangthahho jeng jong lhadah’uva chule thachol thei diu, chule khangdong pasal ho jeng jong thachol vala lhu lhop jeng thei ahiuve.
31 but they that wait on God shall renew [their] strength; they shall put forth new feathers like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not hunger.
Hinla Pakai tahsan ho chun thahatna thah amu dingu ahi. Amaho chu muvanlai tobanga lhavinga leng sang dingu ahi. Ama ho chu lhai dingu chule thachol ahetlou dingu ahi. Amaho chu che dingu chule thachol val ahet louhel dingu ahi.
