Esias 17
1 THE WORD AGAINST DAMASCUS. Behold, Damascus shall be taken away from amongst cities, and shall become a ruin;
ଦମ୍ମେଶକ ବିଷୟକ ଭାବବାଣୀ। ଦେଖ, ଦମ୍ମେଶକ ଆଉ ନଗର ନ ହୋଇ ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ତାହା କାନ୍ଥଡ଼ାର ଢ଼ିପି ହେବ।
2 abandoned for ever, to [be] a fold and resting-place for flocks, and there shall be none to go after them.
ଅରୋୟରର ନଗରସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି; ସେହି ସବୁ ପଶୁପଲର ପାଇଁ ହେବ, ସେମାନେ ସେଠାରେ ଶୟନ କରିବେ, ଆଉ କେହି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ ଦେଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
3 And she shall no longer be a strong place for Ephraim to flee to, and there shall no longer be a kingdom in Damascus, or a remnant of Syrians; for you are no better than the children of Israel, [even] than their glory; thus says the Lord of hosts.
ଆହୁରି, ଇଫ୍ରୟିମରୁ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଓ ଦମ୍ମେଶକରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଓ ଅରାମର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେବ; ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସବୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଗୌରବ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ।
4 There shall be in that day a failure of the glory of Jacob, and the riches of his glory shall be shaken.
ଆଉ, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ଯାକୁବର ଗୌରବ ହ୍ରାସ କରାଯିବ ଓ ତାହାର ମାଂସର ସ୍ଥୂଳତା କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେବ;
5 And it shall be as if one should gather standing corn, and reap the grain of the ears; and it shall be as if one should gather ears in a rich valley;
ଆଉ, ଯେପରି ଶସ୍ୟ କାଟିବା ଲୋକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଶସ୍ୟ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିବା ବେଳେ ଓ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତ ଶିଷା କାଟିବା ବେଳେ, କିଅବା ଯେପରି କେହି ରଫାୟୀମ ତଳଭୂମିରେ ପତିତ ଶିଷା ସାଉଣ୍ଟିବା ବେଳେ ହୁଏ, ସେହିପରି ହେବ।
6 and [as if] there should be left stubble therein, or [as it were] the berries of an olive tree, two or three on the topmost bough, or [as if] four or five should be left on their branches; thus says the Lord, the God of Israel.
ତଥାପି ଜୀତବୃକ୍ଷର ଫଳ ଝାଡ଼ି ନେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯେପରି ତାହାର ଉଚ୍ଚତମ ଶାଖାରେ ଦୁଇ ତିନି ଗୋଟା ଫଳ ଓ ଫଳବାନ ବୃକ୍ଷର ବାହାରସ୍ଥ ଶାଖାରେ ଚାରି ପାଞ୍ଚ ଗୋଟା ଫଳ ଥାଏ, ସେହିପରି ତାହାର କିଛି ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିବ, ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କହନ୍ତି।
7 In that day a man shall trust in him that made him, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
ସେହି ଦିନରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇବ ଓ ତାହାର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖିବ।
8 And they shall not at all trust in their altars, nor in the works of their hands, which their fingers made; and they shall not look to the trees, nor to their abominations.
ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତକୃତ ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିସମୂହର ପ୍ରତି ଅନାଇବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଆପଣା ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳିକୃତ ଆଶେରା ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଅବା ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତିମାସକଳର ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖିବ ନାହିଁ।
9 In that day your cities shall be deserted, as the Amorites and the Evaeans deserted [theirs], because of the children of Israel; and they shall be desolate.
ସେହି ଦିନ ତାହାର ଦୃଢ଼ ନଗରସବୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଭୟରେ ବନସ୍ଥ ଓ ପର୍ବତର ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ ଓ ଦେଶ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବ।
10 Because you have forsaken God your Saviour, and have not been mindful of the Lord your helper; therefore shall you plant a false plant, and a false seed.
କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋରିଅଛ ଓ ଆପଣା ଶକ୍ତି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଶୈଳ ବିଷୟରେ ମନୋଯୋଗୀ ହୋଇ ନାହଁ; ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସୁନ୍ଦର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଚାରା ରୋପଣ କରୁଅଛ ଓ ବିଦେଶୀୟ କଲମ ସଙ୍ଗେ ତାହା ବସାଉଅଛ;
11 In the day wherein you shall plant you shall be deceived; but if you sow in the morning, [the seed] shall spring up for a crop in the day wherein you shall obtain an inheritance, and as a man's father, you shall obtain an inheritance for your sons.
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ରୋପଣ କରିବା ଦିନ ତହିଁର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ବାଡ଼ ଦେଉଅଛ ଓ ପ୍ରାତଃକାଳରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ବୀଜକୁ ପୁଷ୍ପିତ କରାଉଅଛ; ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଃଖ ଓ ପ୍ରତିକାରହୀନ ଶୋକ ସମୟରେ ଫଳ ଉଡ଼ିଯାଏ।
12 Woe [to] the multitude of many nations, as the swelling sea, so shall you be confounded; and the force of many nations shall sound like water;
ଆଃ! ଅନେକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର କୋଳାହଳ, ସେମାନେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର କଲ୍ଲୋଳର ତୁଲ୍ୟ କଲ୍ଲୋଳ ଧ୍ୱନି କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ନାନା ଦେଶୀୟଗଣ ମାଡ଼ି ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବଢ଼ି ପରି ମାଡ଼ି ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି!
13 many nations like much water, as when much water rushes violently: and they shall drive him away, and pursue him afar, as the dust of chaff when men winnow before the wind, and as a storm whirling the dust of the wheel.
ନାନା ଦେଶୀୟଗଣ, ମହାଜଳରାଶି ମାଡ଼ି ଆସିବା ପରି ମାଡ଼ି ଆସୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧମକାଇବେ, ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ଦୂରକୁ ପଳାଇବେ ଓ ବାୟୁ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପର୍ବତସ୍ଥ ତୁଷ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ବାୟୁ ଅଗ୍ରତେ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟମାନ ଧୂଳି ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତାଡ଼ିତ ହେବେ।
14 Towards evening, and there shall be grief; before the morning, and he shall not be. This is the portion of them that spoiled you, and the inheritance to them that robbed you of your inheritance.
ଦେଖ, ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାକାଳେ ତ୍ରାସ ଓ ପ୍ରଭାତର ପୂର୍ବେ ସେମାନେ ନାହାନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଲୁଟିତକାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ଅଂଶ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅପହରଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ବାଣ୍ଟ ଏହି।
