Osee 6

1 In their affliction they will seek me early, saying, Let us go, and return to the Lord our God; for he has torn, and will heal us; he will strike, and bind us up.

“വരിക, നമുക്കു യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാം. യഹോവ നമ്മെ കടിച്ചുകീറിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവിടന്നു നമ്മെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കും. അവിടന്നു നമ്മെ മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്നുതന്നെ നമ്മുടെ മുറിവു കെട്ടും.

2 After two days he will heal us: in the third day we shall arise, and live before him, and shall know [him]:

രണ്ടുദിവസത്തിനുശേഷം അവിടന്ന് നമ്മെ ജീവിപ്പിക്കും; മൂന്നാംദിവസം അവിടന്ന് നമ്മെ പുനരുദ്ധരിക്കും, നാം അവിടത്തെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിനുതന്നെ.

3 let us follow on to know the Lord: we shall find him ready as the morning, and he will come to us as the early and latter rain to the earth.

നാം യഹോവയെ അംഗീകരിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കാൻ നാം ജാഗ്രതയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുക. സൂര്യോദയംപോലെ സുനിശ്ചിതമായിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും അവിടത്തെ പ്രത്യക്ഷതയും. അവിടന്നു ശീതകാലമഴപോലെ നമുക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകും വസന്തകാലമഴ ഭൂമിയെ നനയ്ക്കുമ്പോലെതന്നെ.”

4 What shall I do to you, Ephraim? What shall I do to you, Juda? whereas your mercy is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that goes away.

“എഫ്രയീമേ, നിന്നോടു ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യണം? യെഹൂദയേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് എന്താണു ചെയ്യേണ്ടത്? നിന്റെ സ്നേഹം പ്രഭാതമഞ്ഞുപോലെയും അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുന്ന പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുതുള്ളിപോലെയും ആകുന്നു.

5 Therefore have I mown down your prophets; I have slain them with the word of my mouth: and my judgement shall go forth as the light.

അതുകൊണ്ട്, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വെട്ടി, എന്റെ വായുടെ വചനത്താൽ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വധിച്ചു. എന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ മിന്നൽപോലെ നിന്റെമേൽ പാഞ്ഞു.

6 For I will [have] mercy rather than sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than whole burnt offerings.

യാഗമല്ല, കരുണയാണ് ഞാൻ അഭിലഷിക്കുന്നത്; ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളെക്കാൾ, ദൈവപരിജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു.

7 But they are as a man transgressing a covenant:

ആദാമിനെപ്പോലെ അവർ ഉടമ്പടി ലംഘിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നോട് അവിശ്വസ്തരായിരുന്നു.

8 there the city Galaad despised me, working vanity, troubling water.

ഗിലെയാദ് ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ പട്ടണം; അവരുടെ കാലടികൾ രക്തത്താൽ മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

9 And your strength [is that] of a robber: the priests have hid the way, they have murdered [the people of] Sicima; for they have wrought iniquity in the house of Israel.

10 I have seen horrible [things] there, [even] the fornication of Ephraim: Israel and Juda are defiled;

11 begin together grapes for yourself, when I turn the captivity of my people.
