Osee 6

1 In their affliction they will seek me early, saying, Let us go, and return to the Lord our God; for he has torn, and will heal us; he will strike, and bind us up.

「來，我們回到上主那裏去，因為衪撕碎了我們，也必要治愈；衪打傷了我們，也必要包紮。

2 After two days he will heal us: in the third day we shall arise, and live before him, and shall know [him]:

兩天後衪必使田復生，第三天衪必使我們興起，生活在衪的慈顏下。

3 let us follow on to know the Lord: we shall find him ready as the morning, and he will come to us as the early and latter rain to the earth.

讓我們認識上主，讓我們努力認識上主! 衪定要像曙光一樣出現，衪要來到我們中間，有如秋雨，有如滋潤田地的春雨。」

4 What shall I do to you, Ephraim? What shall I do to you, Juda? whereas your mercy is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that goes away.

厄弗辣因，我可對你們作什麼﹖因為你們的仁愛有如旱晨的浮雲，有如易於消散的朝露。

5 Therefore have I mown down your prophets; I have slain them with the word of my mouth: and my judgement shall go forth as the light.

因此，我藉先知們砍伐了他們，以我口中的言語殺死戳了他們；我的的裁判出現有如光明：

6 For I will [have] mercy rather than sacrifice, and the knowledge of God rather than whole burnt offerings.

因為我喜歡仁慈勝過祭獻，喜歡人認識天主勝過全燔祭。

7 But they are as a man transgressing a covenant:

但是他們在阿當就犯了罪，在那裏已背叛了我。

8 there the city Galaad despised me, working vanity, troubling water.

基肋阿得是座作惡的城池，滿了血跡。

9 And your strength [is that] of a robber: the priests have hid the way, they have murdered [the people of] Sicima; for they have wrought iniquity in the house of Israel.

一隊司祭就如埋伏的強盜，在往舍根的路上行兇；的確，他們行了可恥的事

10 I have seen horrible [things] there, [even] the fornication of Ephraim: Israel and Juda are defiled;

在貝特耳我見了可惡的事：在那裏厄弗辣因行了淫，以色列玷污了自己

11 begin together grapes for yourself, when I turn the captivity of my people.

當我轉變我百姓的命運時，猶大啊! 為你也注定了一個收割期。
