Osee 2

1 Say to your brother, My people, and to your sister, Pitied.

Είπατε προς τους αδελφούς σας, Αμμί, και προς τας αδελφάς σας, Ρουχαμμά.

2 Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband: and I will remove her fornication out of my presence, and her adultery from between her breasts:

Κρίθητε μετά της μητρός σας, κρίθητε· διότι αύτη δεν είναι γυνή μου και εγώ δεν είμαι ανήρ αυτής· ας αφαιρέση λοιπόν τας πορνείας αυτής απ' έμπροσθεν αυτής και τας μοιχείας αυτής εκ μέσου των μαστών αυτής·

3 that I may strip her naked, and make her again as she was at the day of her birth: and I will make her desolate, and make her as a dry land, and will kill her with thirst.

μήποτε εκδύσας γυμνώσω αυτήν και αποκαταστήσω αυτήν καθώς εν τη ημέρα της γεννήσεως αυτής, και θέσω αυτήν ως έρημον και καταστήσω αυτήν ως γην άνυδρον και θανατώσω αυτήν εν δίψη.

4 And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they are children of fornication.

Και δεν θέλω ελεήσει τα τέκνα αυτής· επειδή είναι τέκνα πορνείας.

5 And their mother went a-whoring: she that bore them disgraced [them]: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, and my garments, and my linen clothes, my oil and my necessaries.

Διότι η μήτηρ αυτών επόρνευσεν· η συλλαβούσα αυτά έπραξεν αισχύνην· διότι είπε, Θέλω υπάγει κατόπιν των εραστών μου, οίτινες μοι δίδουσι τον άρτον μου και το ύδωρ μου, το μαλλίον μου και το λινάριόν μου, το έλαιόν μου και τα ποτά μου.

6 Therefore, behold, I hedge up her way with thorns, and I will stop the ways, and she shall not find her path.

Διά τούτο, ιδού, εγώ θέλω φράξει την οδόν σου με ακάνθας και οικοδομήσει φραγμόν, διά να μη εύρη τας οδούς αυτής.

7 And she shall follow after her lovers, and shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: and she shall say, I will go, and return to my former husband; for it was better with me than now.

Και θέλει τρέξει κατόπιν των εραστών αυτής και δεν θέλει φθάσει αυτούς, και θέλει ζητήσει αυτούς και δεν θέλει ευρεί· τότε θέλει ειπεί, Θέλω υπάγει και επιστρέψει προς τον πρώτόν μου άνδρα· διότι καλήτερον ήτο τότε εις εμέ παρά τώρα.

8 And she knew not that I gave her her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied silver to her: but she made silver and gold [images] for Baal.

Και αυτή δεν εγνώριζεν ότι εγώ έδωκα εις αυτήν τον σίτον και τον οίνον και το έλαιον, και επλήθυνα το αργύριον εις αυτήν και το χρυσίον, με τα οποία κατεσκεύασαν τον Βάαλ.

9 Therefore I will return, and take away my corn in its season, and my wine in its time; and I will take away my raiment and my linen clothes, so that she shall not cover her nakedness.

Διά τούτο θέλω επιστρέψει και λάβει τον σίτόν μου εν τω καιρώ αυτού και τον οίνόν μου εν τω διωρισμένω καιρώ αυτού, και θέλω αφαιρέσει το μαλλίον μου και το λινάριόν μου, τα οποία είχε διά να σκεπάζη την γύμνωσιν αυτής.

10 And now I will expose her uncleanness before her lovers, and no one shall by any means deliver her out of my hand.

Και τώρα θέλω αποκαλύψει την ακαθαρσίαν αυτής έμπροσθεν των εραστών αυτής, και ουδείς θέλει λυτρώσει αυτήν εκ της χειρός μου.

11 And I will take away all her gladness, her feasts, and her festivals at the new moon, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn assemblies.

Και θέλω καταπαύσει πάσαν την ευφροσύνην αυτής, τας εορτάς αυτής, τας νεομηνίας αυτής και τα σάββατα αυτής και πάσας τας πανηγύρεις αυτής.

12 And I will utterly destroy her vines, and her fig-trees, all things of which she said, These are my hire which my lovers have given me: and I will make them a testimony, and the wild beasts of the field, and the birds of the sky, and the reptiles of the earth shall devour them.

Και θέλω αφανίσει τας αμπέλους αυτής και τας συκάς αυτής, περί των οποίων είπε, Μισθώματά μου είναι ταύτα, τα οποία μοι έδωκαν οι ερασταί μου· και θέλω καταστήσει αυτάς δάσος, και τα θηρία του αγρού θέλουσι κατατρώγει αυτάς.

13 And I will recompense on her the days of Baalim, wherein she sacrificed to them, and put on her ear-rings, and her necklaces, and went after her lovers, and forgot me, says the Lord.

Και θέλω επισκεφθή επ' αυτήν τας ημέρας των Βααλείμ, καθ' ας εθυμίαζεν εις αυτούς και εστολίζετο με τα ενώτια αυτής και τα περιδέραια αυτής και επορεύετο κατόπιν των εραστών αυτής, εμέ δε ελησμόνησε, λέγει Κύριος.

14 Therefore, behold, I [will] cause her to err, and will make her as desolate, and will speak comfortably to her.

Διά τούτο, ιδού, εγώ θέλω εφελκύσει αυτήν και θέλω φέρει αυτήν εις την έρημον και θέλω λαλήσει προς την καρδίαν αυτής.

15 And I will giver her possessions from thence, and the valley of Achor to open her understanding: and she shall be afflicted there according to the days of her infancy, and according to the days of her coming up out of the land of Egypt.

Και εκείθεν θέλω δώσει εις αυτήν τους αμπελώνας αυτής και την κοιλάδα του Αχώρ διά θύραν ελπίδος· και θέλει ψάλλει εκεί ως εν ταις ημέραις της νεότητος αυτής και ως εν τη ημέρα της αναβάσεως αυτής από γης Αιγύπτου.

16 And it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord, [that] she shall call me, My husband, and shall no longer call me Baalim.

Και εν τη ημέρα εκείνη, λέγει Κύριος, θέλεις με καλέσει, Ο ανήρ μου· και δεν θέλεις με καλέσει πλέον, Ο Βάαλ μου·

17 And I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and their names shall be remembered no more at all.

διότι θέλω αφαιρέσει τα ονόματα των Βααλείμ από του στόματος αυτής και δεν θέλουσιν αναφέρεσθαι πλέον τα ονόματα αυτών.

18 And I will make for them in that day a covenant with the wild beasts of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the reptiles of the earth: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle from off the earth, and will cause you to dwell safely.

Και εν τη ημέρα εκείνη θέλω κάμει διαθήκην υπέρ αυτών προς τα θηρία του αγρού και προς τα πετεινά του ουρανού και τα ερπετά της γής· τόξον δε και ρομφαίαν και πόλεμον θέλω συντρίψει εκ της γης και θέλω κατοικίσει αυτούς εν ασφαλεία.

19 And I will betroth you to myself for ever; yes, I will betroth you to myself in righteousness, and in judgement, and in mercy, and in tender compassions;

Και θέλω σε μνηστευθή εις εμαυτόν εις τον αιώνα· και θέλω σε μνηστευθή εις εμαυτόν εν δικαιοσύνη και εν κρίσει και εν ελέει και εν οικτιρμοίς·

20 and I will betroth you to myself in faithfulness: and you shall know the Lord.

και θέλω σε μνηστευθή εις εμαυτόν εν πίστει· και θέλεις γνωρίσει τον Κύριον.

21 And it shall come to pass in that day, says the Lord, I will listen to the heaven, and it shall listen to the earth;

Και εν εκείνη τη ημέρα θέλω αποκριθή, λέγει Κύριος, θέλω αποκριθή προς τους ουρανούς, και αυτοί θέλουσιν αποκριθή προς την γήν·

22 and the earth shall listen to the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall listen to Jezrael.

και η γη θέλει αποκριθή προς τον σίτον και τον οίνον και το έλαιον· και ταύτα θέλουσιν αποκριθή προς τον Ιεζραέλ.

23 And I will sow her to me on the earth; and will love her that was not loved, and will say to that which was not my people, You are my people; and they shall say, You are the Lord my God.

Και θέλω σπείρει αυτήν δι' εμαυτόν επί της γής· και θέλω ελεήσει την ουκ ηλεημένην· και θέλω ειπεί προς τον ου λαόν μου, Λαός μου είσαι· και αυτοί θέλουσιν ειπεί, Θεός μου είσαι.
