Jezekiel 6

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

౧నా దగ్గరికి తిరిగి యెహోవా వాక్కు వచ్చింది. ఆయన నాకిలా చెప్పాడు.

2 Son of man, set your face against the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them;

౨“నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలు పర్వతాలకు అభిముఖంగా నిలబడి ఇలా ప్రకటించు.

3 and you shall say, You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord; thus says the Lord to the mountains, and to the hills, and to the valleys, and to the forests; Behold, I bring a sword upon you, and your high places shall be utterly destroyed.

౩ఇశ్రాయేలు పర్వతాల్లారా, ప్రభువైన యెహోవా మాట వినండి. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా పర్వతాలతోనూ, కొండలతోనూ, వాగులతోనూ, లోయలతోనూ ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. చూడండి! మీకు విరోధంగా ఖడ్గాన్ని పంపుతున్నాను. మీ ఉన్నత స్థలాలను నాశనం చేస్తాను.

4 And your altars shall be broken to pieces, and your consecrated plats; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols.

౪తరువాత మీ బలిపీఠాలు పాడై పోతాయి. మీ దేవతా స్తంభాలు ధ్వంసం అవుతాయి. హతమైన మీ వాళ్ళను మీ విగ్రహాల ఎదుట పారవేస్తాను.

5 And I will scatter your bones round about your altars,

౫ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల శవాలను వారి విగ్రహాల ఎదుట పేరుస్తాను. వాళ్ళ ఎముకలను మీ బలిపీఠాల చుట్టూ వెదజల్లుతాను.

6 and in all your habitations: the cities shall be made desolate, and the high places utterly laid waste; that your altars may be destroyed, and your idols be broken to pieces, and your consecrated plats be abolished.

౬మీరు ఏ పట్టణంలో నివసించినా ఆ పట్టణాలు నాశనం అవుతాయి. మీ బలిపీఠాలు నాశనం, నిర్జనం అవుతాయి. తరువాత అవి పగిలి పోతాయి. మాయమై పోతాయి. మీ దేవతా స్తంభాలు విరిగిపోతాయి. మీరు చేసినవన్నీ తుడిచిపెట్టుకు పోతాయి.

7 And slain [men] shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am the Lord.

౭ప్రజలు చనిపోయి మీ మధ్యలో కూలిపోతారు. నేను యెహోవాను అని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.

8 When there are [some] of you escaping from the sword amongst the Gentiles, and when you are scattered in the countries;

౮అయితే మీలో కొంత శేషాన్ని నేను భద్రం చేస్తాను. మీరు వివిధ దేశాల్లోకి చెదరిపోయినప్పుడు మీలో కొంతమంది ఖడ్గాన్ని తప్పించుకుంటారు.

9 then they of you that escape amongst the nations whither they were carried captive shall remember me; (I have sworn [an oath] against their heart that goes a-whoring from me, and their eyes that go a-whoring after their practices; ) and they shall mourn over themselves for all their abominations.

౯అప్పుడు అలా తప్పించుకుని ఇతర జాతుల మధ్య బందీలుగా ఉన్నవారు నా గురించి ఆలోచిస్తారు. వాళ్ళకి నన్ను దూరం చేసిన తమ లైంగిక విశృంఖలత, విగ్రహాలపట్ల వాళ్ళకున్న అనురక్తీ నన్నెలా వేదనకి గురి చేసిందో ఆలోచిస్తారు. చండాలమైన పనులన్నిటితో తాము సాగించిన దుర్మార్గత పట్ల వాళ్ళ ముఖాలపై అసహ్యం కనిపిస్తుంది.

10 And they shall know that I the Lord have spoken.

౧౦అప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవాను అని తెలుసుకుంటారు. వాళ్ళ పైకి కీడు రప్పిస్తానని నేను చెప్పిన మాట వెనుక ఒక కారణం ఉంది.”

11 Thus says the Lord; Clap with [your] hand, and stamp with [your] foot and say, Aha, aha! for all the abominations of the house of Israel: they shall fall by the sword, and by pestilence, and by famine.

౧౧ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. “నీ చేతులు చరిచి నీ పాదాలు నేలకు తన్ను! ఇశ్రాయేలు జాతి సాగించిన అసహ్యమైన పనుల కోసం ‘అయ్యో’ అని రోదించు. ఎందుకంటే వాళ్ళని ఖడ్గం, కరువు, తెగులు హతం చేస్తాయి.

12 He that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is far off shall die by the pestilence; and he that is in the siege shall be consumed with famine: and I will accomplish mine anger upon them.

౧౨దూరంగా ఉన్నవాళ్ళు తెగులు వల్ల చస్తారు. సమీపంలో ఉన్నవాళ్ళను ఖడ్గం హతం చేస్తుంది. మిగిలిన వాళ్ళు కరువు వల్ల చనిపోతారు. ఈ విధంగా నా క్రోధాన్ని అమలు చేస్తాను.

13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when your slain are in the midst of your idols round about your altars, on every high hill, and under [every] shady tree, where they offered a sweet savour to all their idols.

౧౩వాళ్ళలో హతం అయిన వాళ్ళు ఎత్తయిన కొండలన్నిటి పైనా బలిపీఠాల చుట్టూ ఉన్న విగ్రహాల మధ్యలోనూ, పర్వత శిఖరాల పైనా, తమ విగ్రహాలకి పరిమళ ధూపం వేసిన పచ్చని చెట్లన్నిటి మధ్యా, సింధూర వృక్షాల మధ్యా పడి ఉంటారు. అప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవాను అని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.

14 And I will stretch out my hand against them, and I will make the land desolate and ruined from the wilderness of Deblatha, in all their habitations: [and] you shall know that I am the Lord.

౧౪నా శక్తిని కనుపరుస్తాను. వాళ్ళ దేశాన్నీ, వాళ్ళు నివసించే ప్రాంతాలన్నిటినీ దిబ్లాతు ఎడారిలా నిర్జనం గానూ, వ్యర్ధంగానూ చేస్తాను. అప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవాను అని వాళ్లు తెలుసుకుంటారు.”
