1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the tenth month, on the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Kum hlai nit, hla hlai nit, hlasae hnin at a pha vaengah BOEIPA ol te kai taengla ha pawk tih,
2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharao king of Egypt, and say to him, You are become like a lion of the nations, and as a serpent that is in the sea: and you did make assaults with your rivers, and did disturb the water with your feet, and did trample your rivers.
“Hlang capa aw, Egypt manghai Pharaoh ham rhahlung phueih pah lamtah amah te thui pah. Namtom kah sathuengca na puet dae tuipuei kah tuihnam bangla na om. Na tuiva ah m'poh tih na kho neh tui na nok dongah a tuiva na nu sak.
3 Thus says the Lord; I will also cast over you the nets of many nations, and will bring you up with my hook:
Ka Boeipa Yahovah loh he ni a thui ni. Nang soah ka lawk he pilnam hlangping neh kan thing khungdaeng vetih nang te kai kah yaehtaboeih neh n'doek uh ni.
4 and I will stretch you upon the earth: the fields shall be covered [with you], and I will cause all the birds of the sky to settle upon you, and I will fill [with you] all the wild beasts of the earth.
Nang te diklai ah kam phap vetih khohmuen hoeng ah nang kang hut ni. Vaan kah vaa cungkuem loh nang soah cu vetih nang te diklai mulhing tom ka cung sak ni.
5 And I will cast your flesh upon the mountains, and will saturate [them] with your blood.
Na saa te tlang ah ka khueh vetih na rhok te kolrhawk ah ka bae sak ni.
6 And the land shall be drenched with your dung, because of your multitude upon the mountains: I will fill the valleys with you.
Na thii la tlang due na ka long neh diklai ka suep vetih nang nen te sokca rhoek khaw bae uh ni.
7 And I will veil the heavens when you are extinguished, and will darken the stars thereof; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
Nang kan thih vaengah vaan te ka thing vetih a aisi te ka kopang sak ni. Khomik te cingmai neh ka thing vetih hla kah a vangnah khaw sae mahpawh.
8 All the [bodies] that give light in the sky, shall be darkened over you, and I will bring darkness upon the earth, says the Lord God.
Vaan kah a aa vangnah cungkuem te nang soah ka hmuep sak vetih na khohmuen soah hmaisuep ka tlak sak ni. He tah ka Boeipa ka Yahovah kah olphong ni.
9 And I will provoke to anger the heart of many people, when I shall lead you captive amongst the nations, to a land which you have not known.
Amih te na ming pawt dae diklai kah namtom taengah na pocinah te ka khuen vaengah pilnam kah lungbuei muep ka veet ni.
10 And many nations shall mourn over you, and their kings shall be utterly amazed, when my sword flies in their faces, as they wait for their [own] fall from the day of your fall.
Nang soah pilnam boeiping te ka pong sak vetih a manghai rhoek khaw nang kong ah hlithae loh a yawn ni. Amih mikhmuh ah ka cunghang ka ka hlaek vetih na cungkunah hnin ah tah hlang he a hinglu ham mikhaptok ah lakueng uh ni.
11 For thus says the Lord God; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you,
Ka Boeipa Yahovah he ni a thui. Babylon manghai kah cunghang he nang taengla ha pawk ni.
12 with the swords of mighty men; and I will cast down your strength: [they are] all destroying ones from the nations, and they shall destroy the pride of Egypt, and all her strength shall be crushed.
Amih namtom hlanghaeng neh hlangrhalh boeih kah cunghang dongah na hlangping te ka cungku sak ni. Egypt kah hoemdamnah te a rhoelrhak uh vetih a hlangping khaw boeih a mitmoeng sak ni.
13 And I will destroy all her cattle from [beside] the great water; and the foot of man shall not trouble it any more, and the step of cattle shall no more trample it.
Tui yet taeng lamkah a rhamsa boeih te ka milh sak ni. Te te hlang kho loh koep nok pawt vetih rhamsa khomae loh te te nok mahpawh.
14 Thus shall their waters then be at rest, and their rivers shall flow like oil, says the Lord,
Te vaengah a tui ka cil sak vetih a tuiva te situi bangla ka long sak ni. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah olphong ni.
15 when I shall give up Egypt to destruction, and the land shall be made desolate with the fullness thereof; when I shall scatter all that dwell in it, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Egypt khohmuen te khopong la ka khueh coeng. Te dongah a khuikah khosa boeih te ka ngawn tih khohmuen te a pum la a pong vaengah BOEIPA kamah he m'ming uh bitni.
16 There is a lamentation, and you shall utter it; and the daughters of the nations shall utter it, [even] for Egypt, and they shall mourn for it over all the strength thereof, says the Lord God.

17 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the first month, on the fifteenth [day] of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Kum hlai nit hla khat hnin hlai nga vaengah BOEIPA ol te kai taengla ha pawk tih,
18 Son of man, lament over the strength of Egypt, for the nations shall bring down her daughters dead to the depth of the earth, to them that go down to the pit.
Hlang capa aw, Egypt hlangping ham rhathi laeh. Anih khaw diklai laedil duela tangrhom ah aka suntla taengah namtom tanu aka khuet neh suntla uh saeh.
Unim na hmae thil ngai? Suntla lamtah pumdul rhoek taengah yalh laeh.
20 They shall fall with him in the midst of them [that are] slain with the sword, and all his strength shall perish: the giants also shall say to you,
cunghang dongkah a mop te cunghang dongkah rhok lakli ah ni a yalh eh. Anih neh a hlangping boeih te sol laeh.
21 Be you in the depth of the pit: to whom are you superior? yes, go down, and lie with the uncircumcised, in the midst of them [that are] slain with the sword. (Sheol h7585)
Anih te Saelkhui lamkah neh pathen hlangrhalh rhoek neh anih aka bom rhoek loh thui uh saeh. cunghang dongkah pumdul rhok dongla suntla uh tih yalh uh lah ko. (Sheol h7585)
22 There are Assur and all his company: all [his] slain have been laid there:
Te ah te Assyria neh a hlangping boeih he a phuel kaepvai kah cunghang dongah aka cungku kah rhok boeih ni.
23 and their burial is in the depth of the pit, and his company are set around about his tomb: all the slain that fell by the sword, who had caused the fear of them [to be] upon the land of the living.
Tangrhom hlaep ah a phuel a khueh pa uh tih a phuel kaepvai ah a hlangping om. Amih boeih tah cunghang dongah cungku tih mulhing khohmuen ah rhihnah aka pae kah a rhok ni.
24 There is Aelam and all his host round about his tomb: all the slain that fell by the sword, and the uncircumcised that go down to the deep of the earth, who caused their fear to be upon the land of the living: and they have received their punishment with them that go down to the pit,
Te ah te Elam neh a hlangping boeih a phuel kaepvai ah om. Amih boeih tah cunghang dongah aka cungku kah a rhok ni. Te rhoek te diklai laedil ah pumdul la suntla uh. Te long te mulhing khohmuen ah amih kah rhihnah a paek tih a mingthae te tangrhom kah aka suntla neh a phueih uh.
25 in the midst of the slain.
Anih ham tah rhok lakli ah ni thingkong a khueh pauh. A hlangping boeih loh a phuel kah a kaepvai ah omuh. Amih te cunghang dongah a rhok pumdul boeih ni. Mulhing khohmuen ah amamih kah rhihnah a paek tih a mingthae a phueih uh phoeiah tangrhom kah aka suntla neh rhok lakli ah ni a yalh.
26 There were laid Mosoch, and Thobel, and all his strength round about his tomb: all his slain men, all the uncircumcised, slain with the sword, who caused their fear to be in the land of the living.
Te ah te Tubal Meshek neh a hlangping boeih loh a phuel kah a kaepvai ah om. Amih boeih tah amamih kah rhihnah te mulhing khohmuen ah a paek uh dongah pumdul la cunghang neh a poeih rhoek ni.
27 And they are laid with the giants that fell of old, who went down to Hades with [their] weapons of war: and they laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities were upon their bones, because they terrified all men during their life. (Sheol h7585)
Pumdul lamloh aka cungku hlangrhalh taengah khaw yalh uh hae pawh. A caemtloek hnopai neh saelkhui la suntla uh tih a cunghang te a lu hmuiah a doelh uh. A hlangrhalh rhoek loh mulhing khohmuen ah rhihnah pae cakhaw amamih kathaesainah te amamih rhuh dongah ni a tlak. (Sheol h7585)
28 And you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised, with them that have been slain by the sword.
Nang khaw pumdul lakli ah na bawt vetih cunghang dongkah rhok neh na yalh ni.
29 There are laid the princes of Assur, who yielded their strength to a wound of the sword: these are laid with the slain, with them that go down to the pit.
Te ah te Edom kah a manghai rhoek neh a khoboei rhoek boeih om. Te rhoek tah a thayung thamal a paek. Tedae amih te cunghang dongkah rhok taeng neh tangrhom la aka suntla pumdul rhoek taengah ni a yalh uh.
30 There are the princes of the north, [even] all the captains of Assur, who go down slain [to Hades]: they lie uncircumcised amongst the slain with the sword together with their terror and their strength, and they have received their punishment with them that go down to the pit.
Te ah te amih tlangpuei boeimang boeih neh Sidoni boeih khaw omuh. Te rhoek tah amamih kah rhihnah hmanah a rhok rhoek neh suntla uh. A thayung thamal dongah yak uh tih te cunghang dongkah rhok neh pumdul la yalh uh. Te dongah tangrhom kah aka suntla rhoek neh a mingthae a phueih uh.
31 King Pharao shall see them, and shall be comforted over all their force, says the Lord God.
Amih te Pharaoh loh a hmuh vaengah a hlangping boeih ham khaw, cunghang dongkah a ngawn a hlangping ham khaw, Pharaoh neh a caem boeih ham khaw damti bitni. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni.
32 For I have caused his fear to be upon the land of the living yet he shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, [even] Pharao, and all his multitude with him, says the Lord God.
Mulhing khohmuen ah kai rhihnah te anih kah rhihnah la ka paek. Te dongah Pharaoh neh a hlangping boeih loh cunghang dongkah rhok neh pumdul lakli ah yalh. He tah ka Boeipa Yahovah kah olphong ni,” a ti.
