Jezekiel 26
1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
அரசன் யோயாக்கீன் சிறைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்ட பதினோராம் வருடம் மாதத்தின் முதலாம் நாளிலே, யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது.
2 Son of man, because Sor has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is crushed: the nations are destroyed: she is turned to me: she that was full is made desolate:
“மனுபுத்திரனே, எருசலேமைக்குறித்து, ‘ஆகா, நாடுகளுக்குரிய வாசல் உடைந்திருக்கிறது. அதன் கதவுகள் திறந்து ஊசலாடுகின்றன. இப்பொழுது அவள் பாழானாள்: நான் செழிப்பேன்’ என்று தீரு சொல்லியிருக்கிறாள்.”
3 therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I am against you, O Sor, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea comes up with its waves.
ஆகவே ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. தீருவே நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாக இருக்கிறேன். கடல் தன் அலைகளை எழும்பப்பண்ணுவதுபோல், நான் அநேக நாடுகளை உனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கொண்டுவருவேன்.
4 And they shall cast down the walls of Sor, and shall cast down your towers: and I will scrape her dust from off her, and make her a bare rock.
அவர்கள் தீருவின் மதில்களை அழித்து, அவர்களுடைய கோபுரங்களை வீழ்த்தி விடுவார்கள். நான் அவளது இடிபாடுகளை வழித்தெடுத்து, அவளை ஒரு வெறும் பாறையாக்கிவிடுவேன்.
5 She shall be in the midst of the sea a place for repairing nets: for I have spoken [it], says the Lord: and it shall be a spoil for the nations.
கடலின் நடுவே ஒரு தீவாய் இருக்கும் குடியேற்றமில்லாத அவள், மீன் வலைகளை உலர்த்தும் இடமாவாள். நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன், என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார். அவள் நாடுகளின் கொள்ளைப் பொருளாவாள்.
6 And her daughters [which are] in the field shall be slain with the sword, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
நாட்டின் உட்பகுதியிலுள்ள அவளது குடியிருப்புகள் வாளினால் கொள்ளையிடப்படும். அப்பொழுது நானே யெகோவா என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
7 For thus says the Lord; Behold, I [will] bring up against you, O Sor, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon from the north: he is a king of kings, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and a concourse of very many nations.
“ஆகவே ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான் அரசருக்கெல்லாம் அரசனான பாபிலோன் அரசன் நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரை குதிரைகள், தேர்கள், குதிரைவீரர்கள், பெரும் இராணுவப்படை ஆகியவற்றோடு வடக்கேயிருந்து தீருவுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கொண்டுவரப் போகிறேன்.”
8 He shall kill your daughters that are in the field with the sword, and shall set a watch against you, and build forts around you, and carry a rampart round against you, and set up warlike works, and array his spears against you.
அவன் நாட்டின் உட்பகுதியிலுள்ள உங்கள் குடியிருப்புகளை வாளினால் சூறையாடுவான். அவன் உனக்கு விரோதமாய் முற்றுகையிட்டு, உன் மதில்களுக்கு எதிராக முற்றுகை அரணைக் கட்டி, உனக்கு விரோதமாய் தனது கேடயங்களை உயர்த்துவான்.
9 He shall cast down with his swords your walls and your towers.
அவன் உன் மதில்களுக்கு எதிராக இடிக்கும் இயந்திரங்களின் முனைகளை வைத்து, தனது போராயுதங்களினால் உன் கோபுரங்களைத் தகர்ப்பான்.
10 By reason of your multitude of his horses their dust shall cover you, and by reason of the sound of his horsemen and the wheels of his chariots the walls shall be shaken, when he enters into your gates, as one entering into a city from the plain.
அவனுடைய குதிரைகள் அநேகமாயிருப்பதனால், அவை எழுப்பும் தூசி உன் நகரத்தையும் மூடத்தக்க அளவு இருக்கும். மதில்கள் உடைக்கப்பட்ட பட்டணத்திற்குள் மனிதர் நுழைவதுபோல், அவன் உன் வாசலில் நுழைவான். அப்பொழுது போர்க்குதிரைகளும், வண்டிகளும், தேர்களும் இரைகிற சத்தத்தினால் உன் மதில்கள் அதிரும்.
11 With the hoofs of his horses they shall trample all your streets: he shall kill your people with the sword, and shall bring down to the ground the support of your strength.
அவனுடைய குதிரைகளின் குளம்புகள் உன் வீதிகளையெல்லாம் மிதிக்கும். அவன் உன் மக்களை வாளினால் கொல்வான். உன் பலத்த தூண்களும் நிலத்தில் சாயும்.
12 And he shall prey upon your power, and plunder your substance, and shall cast down your walls, and break down your pleasant houses: and he shall cast your stones and your timber and your dust into the midst of your sea.
அவர்கள் உன் செல்வங்களைச் சூறையாடி, உன் வியாபாரப் பொருட்களைக் கொள்ளையிடுவார்கள். அவர்கள் உன் மதில்களை இடித்து, உன் அருமையான வீடுகளை நொறுக்கி, அவைகளிலுள்ள கற்களையும், மரங்களையும் அவைகளின் இடிபாடுகளையும் கடலுக்குள் எறிந்துவிடுவார்கள்.
13 And he shall destroy the multitude of your musicians, and the sound of your lutes shall be heard no more.
உன் சத்தமான பாடல்களுக்கு நான் ஒரு முடிவு வரப்பண்ணுவேன். உன் வீணையின் இசை இனிமேல் கேட்கப்படமாட்டாது.
14 And I will make you a bare rock: you shall be a place to spread nets upon; you shall be built no more: for I the Lord have spoken [it], says the Lord.
நான் உன்னை ஒரு வெறுமையான பாறையாக்குவேன். நீ மீன் பிடிக்கும் வலைகளை உலர்த்தும் இடமாக மாறுவாய். நீ ஒருபோதும் திரும்பக் கட்டப்படமாட்டாய். ஏனெனில், யெகோவாவாகிய நானே இதைச் சொன்னேன் என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.
15 For thus says the Lord God to Sor; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of your fall, while the wounded are groaning, while they have drawn a sword in the midst of you?
“ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா தீருவுக்குக் கூறுவது இதுவே. உன்னில் காயப்பட்டோர் அழுகிறபோதும், படுகொலைகள் நடக்கும்போதும், நீ விழும் சத்தத்தினால் கரையோர நாடுகள் நடுங்காதோ?
16 And all the princes of the nations of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and shall take off their crowns from their heads, and shall take off their embroidered raiment: they shall be utterly amazed; they shall sit upon the ground, and fear their [own] destruction, and shall groan over you.
அப்பொழுது கடற்கரை வாசிகளின் இளவரசர்கள் அனைவரும் தங்கள் அரியணைகளிலிருந்து இறங்கி, தங்கள் சித்திரத்தையலாடைகளை கழற்றி, தங்கள் வேலைப்பாடுகளமைந்த உடைகளையும் கழற்றிப்போடுவார்கள். திகிலை உடையாக உடுத்திய வண்ணம் அவர்கள் நிலத்தில் உட்காருவார்கள். ஒவ்வொரு வினாடியும், நடுக்கத்தோடு உன்னைப் பார்த்து அதிர்ச்சியடைவார்கள்.
17 And they shall take up a lamentation for you, and shall say to you, How are you destroyed from out of the sea, the renowned city, that brought her terror upon all her inhabitants.
பின்பு அவர்கள் உன்னைக்குறித்து புலம்பல் வைத்து, “‘கடல் மனிதர்களால் நிறைந்து பேர்பெற்ற நகரமே, நீ எவ்வளவாய் அழிந்துபோனாய்? நீயும் உன் குடிமக்களும் கடலில் வலிமையுடையவர்களாய் இருந்தீர்கள். அங்கு வாழ்ந்தவர்களையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் திகிலடையச் செய்தீர்களே!
18 And the isles shall be alarmed at the day of your fall.
இப்பொழுது நீ விழுந்ததைக்கண்டு கடற்கரை நாடுகள் நடுங்குகின்றன; கடலிலுள்ள தீவுகள் உன் அழிவைக் கண்டு திகிலடைகின்றன என்று சொல்வார்கள்.’
19 For thus says the Lord God; When I shall make the city desolate, as the cities that shall not be inhabited, when I have brought the deep up upon you,
“ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. நான் உன்னைக் குடியற்ற நகரங்களைப்போல் பாழ் நகரம் ஆக்குவேன். சமுத்திரத்தின் ஆழங்களை உன்மேல் கொண்டுவருவேன். அதன் பெருவெள்ளத்தால் உன்னை மூடுவேன்.
20 and great waters shall cover you; and I shall bring you down to them that go down to the pit, to the people of old time, and shall cause you to dwell in the depths of the earth, as in everlasting desolation, with them that go down to the pit, that you may not be inhabited, nor stand upon the land of life;
பின்பு நான் உன்னை குழியில் இறங்குகிற மக்களோடு பூர்வீக மக்களிடம் இறங்கச்செய்வேன். நான் உன்னைப் பூமியின் அடியில் பூர்வகால இடிபாடுகள் இருக்கும் இடங்களில், குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன். குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்களோடு நீயும் போவாய். திரும்பி வரவுமாட்டாய். வாழ்வோர் நாட்டில் உனக்குரிய இடத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவுமாட்டாய்.
21 I will make you a destruction, and you shall be no more for ever, says the Lord God.
நான் உனக்குப் பயங்கர முடிவைக் கொண்டுவருவேன். இனிமேல் நீ இருக்கப்போவதில்லை. நீ தேடப்படுவாய். ஆனால் மறுபடியும் நீ காணப்படமாட்டாய், என்று ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா அறிவிக்கிறார்.”
